“Hey, what the hell are you doing, Sylphy?! I was sleeping just fine!” Ignatius roared angrily, turning into a giant dragon made of flames. “What gives you the right to—huh? Aquarina? She’s back? Ah, wait, Undine and Leviathan too and…! Who the hell are those guys? Newbies?”

“It looks like she’s finally back! I’m sorry for being asleep this whole time, Sylphy…” Yggdra said. “I was quite tired, but I’m awake here and also over there in the big tree…! I’m glad you’re reunited! Aquarina, you wouldn’t believe how much she missed you! She cried herself to sleep more than once, that poor girl.”

“Calm down, Glutton!” I said. “She’s Aquarina, remember?”

“Oh, Aquarina! What a great surprise to see you again! It has been quite a while indeed,” Furoh said, appearing in his usual Fenrir form. “I can tell you’ve grown much stronger… like Sylphy! And your Companions… I see you’ve recruited two more.”

“Wooow! Aquarina…! Undine…! Leviathan…! Helloooo!” Naturia said, waving her little hand at Aquarina and her familiars.

“Raaaarrr!”

“Ruoorrr!”

“Graaarr!”

“Guuuhh!”

Meanwhile, Red—the little one-eyed demon I had summoned a year ago—was here. He had been evolving over the months and was now on his third evolution. Each one allowed him to “divide” once more, so there were four of him, all sharing the same demon soul.

As for appearance, he had become bigger and fluffier, with a sharper horn, but… just as adorable. I still couldn’t believe this was a demon.

“W-What are those little puffballs?” Aquarina asked, touching them. “Ah?! Demonic Energy?!”

She gasped in disbelief as she sensed their power, panicking and about to take them down… but I stopped her.

Listen, I was able to summon them!” I said. “Back when they invaded my Dungeon with the True Demons, there was a powerful True Demon Duke who could summon his own army of demons and demonic beasts. Unleash your Aura as a True Demon Duke and control lesser True Demons with your Authority Aura. This grants not only the power to summon Demonic Beasts from the Infernal Realm of Hell, but also True Demons, if any have been recruited to your Demonic Army.

To grow your True Demon Duke Aura, you must reap and devour the souls of mortals. The more souls you reap, the more you can summon and control Demonic Beasts, and the more you can harness, refine, and strengthen Demonic Energy.

This Authority possesses several abilities:

[True Demon Duke Authority Aura (1)]: By activating this Aura, you generate a powerful Authority that unleashes an Infernal Heat Wave over all foes within 100 meters. It deals constant damage equal to 300% of your Strength and Magic Stats every second, reduces their Stats by 50%, inhibits movement, and creates a True Demon Duke Pressure that makes it hard for weaker foes to move. At the same time, it empowers all Demonic Beasts and True Demons within range, increasing their Stats by 50% of the Stats reduced from each foe. Constantly consumes Demonic Energy to activate.

[Demonic Beast Summoning Ritual (1)]: While activating your Authority Aura, you can conjure a pentagram around it, summoning small portals that bring forth Demonic Beasts who obey your commands. Their Stats and Demonic Power are based on the number of Souls you have reaped and devoured, plus an additional 10%. Summoned Demonic Beasts can be stored back into the Pocket Infernal Realm, accessible only to them. Grants the ability to imbue the Aura into all things, empowering them further.

“W-What? Why would I hate you?” she sighed, crossing her arms. “It just makes me worried you’ll become an even bigger target for the bad guys… that’s all. But well, I’m here now, and mom and dad too, so it won’t be so easy for those bastards to do whatever they want! And they’re cute too! I never imagined True Demons could be like this.”
