Chapter 1808: Combined Strength
Chapter 1808: Combined Strength

“GRAAAAHHH!”
The Blazing Ant Saintess’s mini domains manifested again, hundreds of them surrounding her, attempting to trap her foes in pocket spaces filled with endless golden flames and radiant holy light.
However, enveloped by their powerful reinforced Auras and their own Divinities, Nepheline and Shade charged forward, shattering her body into fragments.
Shadow slashes and abyssal flames consumed half of her body, while a massive hammer crushed the other half into tiny pieces before she could even react.
Her magic was decimated by sheer power, completely overwhelmed!
Her body began to revive a second after her death, as Shade and Nepheline rushed down to finish her off while she was reforming, a process that took barely two to three seconds.
“Y-YOUUUUU!”
She screamed angrily at them while regenerating, realizing they were coming for her even before she could complete her third revival!
And…
T R U U U M M M !!!
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
Nepheline’s hammer crushed her, unleashing an explosive shockwave that made the sky and ground tremble immensely.
Shade’s daggers sliced through everything, their shadow-tearing cuts cleaving the Ant Saintess apart, shattering her divine protection as well.
Crack, crack…!
“N O O O O !”
CRASH!
The barrier around her regenerating body shattered, leaving her exposed to the onslaught. Barely reformed, her monstrous form attempted to absorb her shattered divine blessings as the attacks engulfed her in countless powerful magical explosions.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
As the explosions consumed her, the aberrant ant devoured the divine blessing fragments, desperately trying to regenerate or protect herself. Her regenerating and dying body mutated constantly, sprouting cancerous tumors, arms, eyes, legs, and claws everywhere.
“G R U U U A A A A H H H H !”
The once-beautiful, butterfly-winged Saintess became an utter aberration, her desire for survival overpowering her death through the corrupted miracle of stacked spiritual divine blessings, transforming her into an endlessly regenerating mass of tumors, limbs, and eyes.
“So this is what happens when you force a revival of this caliber, huh?” Nepheline observed, watching the Ant Saintess lose control over her regeneration and body, expanding uncontrollably.
“I knew such magic was never meant to be used repeatedly. Toying with life to this extent… only beings as despicable as gods could do it,” Shade said, analyzing the situation. “She was definitely powerful, but we’ve grown much stronger than we were a few years ago.”
Although their growth had stagnated for several years while raising Aquarina, Shade and Nepheline had rapidly progressed four years ago. Figuring out how to forge, refine, and strengthen their Divinity Aspect triggered this rapid growth, elevating their cultivation to new heights.
They knew well, after fighting Lolth and Arachne, that this world would only grow more chaotic as the New Age emerged. The new generation of Heroes—Sylphy, Aquarina, Luck, and Lara—were already far stronger than any at their age. With the inheritances they sought, they would only grow more powerful.
This had a purpose, of course. It meant that future threats would demand a level of strength that even the previous generation of heroes couldn’t match unless they continued their training and cultivation, despite having seemingly retired.
They couldn’t leave the world solely to the new generation. They understood that only by both generations working together could they protect this world and its people!
“GRAAAAAHHHHHHHH! DIEEEEEEEE!”
Having transformed into an endlessly expanding eldritch abomination of bug limbs, claws, heads, and eyes, the Saintess roared furiously. Her monstrous limbs and tentacles reached for the two heroes, as golden flames engulfed everything around her and beams of light fired from her thousands of eyes.
At that moment, the two calculated that she could be as strong as Lolth and Arachne, and she wasn’t even the final boss here!
But this was the perfect opportunity to test how powerful they had truly become.
Both heroes unleashed their Auras again, reinforcing their bodies and magic circles, blending mana and life force into a stronger form of power.
Their weapons overflowed with their internal energies; their Soul Weapons shaped after the weapons they wielded through most of their childhood and in their battles against the forces of the previous Demon King.
Their eyes shone brightly, filled with unwavering determination, as they charged forward, facing countless aberrant limbs, deadly golden flames, and powerful sunlight lasers.
Explosions engulfed them from every angle, erupting without end.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Yet Nepheline and Shade pierced through all explosions, their weapons unleashing devastating techniques. Nepheline’s hammer pulverized everything—magic and physical attacks—while Shade’s daggers cut through all until nothing remained.
The Ant Saintess watched with her countless eyes as both heroes destroyed every one of her limbs within seconds, pulverizing her faster than she could regrow new ones.
Her jaws opened, monstrous insectoid jaws aiming to devour them, to tear them to shreds and claim victory!
And yet…
They met her aberrant jaws with their combined magic.
“{Gravity Magic}: {Gravitational Forcefield}!”
Nepheline conjured her Gravity Magic, a branch of Earth Magic that manipulated the planet’s gravity. Mastering it to this extent was no easy feat, and she had only recently achieved such proficiency.
FLUOSH!
A sphere of gray energy manifested in her right hand, growing larger and larger, emitting lightning and electricity, shaking the world around her and drawing the monster toward it. But the creature was too massive to be easily swallowed.
That’s why…
“{Abyssal Void Magic}: {Void Star}!”
Shade unleashed his magic, manipulating the deepest darkness—the most dangerous element a magician could wield, the final branch of Darkness and Shadows: Void.
FLUOSH!
A pitch-black sphere of nothingness appeared in his left hand, overflowing with an unseen, otherworldly, alien power that encompassed all creation. It was merely a speck, yet it carried destructive power capable of leveling entire countries.
Nepheline and Shade nodded at each other, all within a split second, as they pointed their hands at the monstrous ant’s jaws, unleashing flames to burn them to a crisp.
At that moment, their magic combined.
“{Combination Magic}: {All-Devouring Black Hole}!”
