Chapter 1730: Class Up Requirements

Chapter 1730: Class Up Requirements

Aquarina glanced at her system’s notifications with high expectations, and well, she wasn’t disappointed.

Aquarina saw the notifications, realizing that she finally got seven more levels, the growth in strength was almost not that noticeable for her at this point though, but she did feel the changes once she saw the messages, as if something triggered for their power to finally release once she saw them.

She had even gained a new Class Skill, which sounded quite similar to her own Class name, and was a “Battle Aura” something she was pretty sure she didn’t have before.

Whatever it could do, she would have to investigate it further later on. Aside from that, her various Skills leveled up, mostly her newest collection of Skills, which constantly grew stronger and were trained through her battles, especially against hundreds of giant ants.

However, Aquarina, who was quite joyous, suddenly fell silent the moment she saw a new message appear. She thought it might be another new skill or something, or even better, perhaps her time to Rank Up once more.

But…

[Now that you’ve reached Max Level, you require to accomplish certain requirements and conditions to Rank Up your Classes!]

“E-Eh? Requirements? Conditions?!”

Aquarina quickly realized that it wasn’t going to be as simple anymore. She had truly believed that the System would just let her grow endlessly like this.

However, the System worked in a way that it made challenges that needed to be completed to give a proper reward to someone.

Leveling up to gain stats wasn’t a challenge at all, it was a way to become even stronger more easily, and the System didn’t see it as the challenge Aquarina had to go through to deserve her Classes Ranking Up.

Indeed, much like how Sylphy went through her own challenging quests to obtain fragments of items necessary for her Job Class to Rank Up, Aquarina would need… something similar.

“There seems to have been a change, huh?” Undine wondered. “Well, I am not surprised, this power is too strong, it was bound to limit the amount of power you can get from it so easily…”

“B-But…” Aquarina felt slightly disheartened by the news, she had grown used to leveling constantly for years now. “Ah…”

“Come on, it’s not the end of the world, remember that the System Sylphy gifted to you is more like… Well, more like an additional bonus,” said Undine. “It isn’t the original of all your powers, and you shouldn’t rely on it for everything either.”

“Hmm…” Aquarina fell silent for a moment and nodded. “I guess so… Ah well, what are these conditions or requirements or whatever?”

She got slightly annoyed, asking the System these things, and then, more messages appeared, a list of the things she needed to accomplish to be able to Rank Up her Classes again.

Ding!

[Now that you’ve reached Max Level, you require to accomplish certain requirements and conditions to Rank Up your Classes!]

[Calculating your current requirements based in your latest accomplishments and your surroundings.]

[Calculated…]

[Class Rank Up Requirements]:

[Slay twenty Tier 8 Monsters]: [0/20]

[Slay one Tier 9 Monster]: [0/1]

[Gather one thousand Tier 7 Monster Cores]: [0/1000]

[Gather one hundred High Quality Ice Spirit Stones]: [0/50]

[Gather one hundred High Quality Water Spirit Stones]: [0/50]

[Gather one hundred High Quality Darkness Spirit Stones]: [0/50]

[Gather one hundred High Quality Earth Spirit Stones]: [0/50]

[Get One Skill To Level 10: [9/10] (Highest Level Skill: [Divine Poseidon’s Trident: Lv9])

“So these are the requirements, huh?” Aquarian rubbed her little chin. “I wouldn’t say they’re too hard, but also not too easy either! Twenty Tier 8 monsters… Where in the world am I going to find so many though? It’s not like they’re everywhere. And one Tier 9 Monster?! This is a bit… well, it’s not impossible… With Sylphy we did defeat a Tier 10 monster, didn’t we…?”

“They are indeed not the usual requirements…” Undine nodded. “Also all the spirit stones you need are going to be a bit hard to gather, right?”

“Yeah, I do have a lot but not so many like that…” Aquarina said. “But I think I could synthetize them using Alchemy… With enough materials and time.”

“That leaves the hardest challenge finding the monsters then? I am sure the nest will provide with plenty of monsters to slay!” Undine nodded.

“Hm, but as many as twenty Tier 8s?” Wondered Aquarina. “I sure hope so… Oh well, I’m done. Let’s just sleep for now, I’m exhausted… Good night Undine.”

“Good night!”

.

In the middle of the night, where only bioluminescent plants and mushrooms illuminated the dark jungles, a little spirit was flying around.

Her body, resembling a huge beetle with cute big eyes and a red colored mirror crown above her head, made her stand out from the darkness, resembling a shiny star flying amidst the shadows.

She moved slowly towards the lake, where she could feel the resting presence of a certain someone… Although mostly undetectable to normal people, spirits could easily tell when there were other spirits around.

“Hah, I’m really doing this…”

Khepri sighed, looking down at the clear blue water, sensing a spiritual aura coming from the depths of the Oasis.

“Hey! I know you already know I’m here… Can we talk, Great Oasis Spirit?”

“…”
