As everyone got ready, Silvia nodded, running towards Khepri.
The girl leaped inside of Khepri’s chest, as the chest rapidly closed, encompassing her completely within the armor. Silvia’s arms and legs were connected to Khepri’s limbs, and so most of her senses.
The mechanical giant rapidly glowed with a silver and golden aura as it even grew long hair made of metallic threads and sunlight, while the rest of the body became smaller and more refined in shape, taking the form of Silvia’s body.
“I guess there’s no helping it, we’re retreating after dealing with these fuckers!” Justicio nodded, his Aura encompassed his body.
FLASH!
And then his entire body was encompassed by a mighty golden armor, almost completely, making him resemble a huge humanoid-looking golden beetle. With both hands he held his shield and his giant axe, while his Spirit infused itself into his shield, transforming it and making it larger.
“Huh, I had no idea you could do that!”
As this happened, Agua tried to imitate that “goddess form” she had taken before but failing to even get closer to that… Aquarina could have offered to help her fight and protect her, but Agua didn’t want to, she had grown so strong that she believed she had to carry her own weight now.
Then, with her Agua Arms, she began wrapping her entire body, encompassing herself with an “armor” made of water and ice using her own imagination and by merging several spells.
FLAAASH!
“I don’t even know how to call this, and it still is an experiment but…! It’s the best I can do for now, Shelly!”
By her side was Shelly, which infused itself into her “Spirit Armor”, which was of the similar power and origin as Quetzalcoatl, infusing it with more power and keeping it stable.
Aquarina glanced at her friends, and then saw Pyuku jumping over her head, before disappearing inside her Soulscape, he was too exhausted to hold the barrier back anymore.
“Thank you for helping so far, Pyuku! Leave the rest to us!”
Aquarina’s aura surged, transforming into several sea serpents encompassed with abyssal energies, becoming a black and purple scaled ethereal hydra, with glowing red eyes.
As this happened, her tail absorbed her aura, growing thrice as long as before, resembling a whip.
Then she took off her two daggers and transformed them, infusing them with Abyssal Energy, she turned them both into large black swords of purple ice.
Aquarina, Silvia, Justicio, Agua, and Quetzalcoatl were ready, looking into the sky at the hundreds of flying ants buzzing angrily, their large claws tearing the barrier piece by piece.
Crack, crack…!
The barrier continued gaining large cracks, constantly shattering and falling apart, Aquarina and her friends remained in silence, their Auras constantly compacting around them, swirling rapidly.
They were waiting.
Crack…!
Patiently waiting.
The tension in the air was strong, they just came out of a mindscape where their souls and minds were on the line.
Crack, crack…!
If it wasn’t for Quetzalcoatl’s help, Aquarina wasn’t sure what could have happened to them.
Therefore, from one thing to another, it was very clear how tired they were.
Hence, she chose to retreat with everyone else.
But to escape, they had to fight these monsters.
So she might as well devastate them.

In that moment, the barrier exploded, shattering into countless of glass-like pieces, which were extremely small, falling all over their surroundings like a rain of blue light
In that moment, they fell silent, glancing and admiring the view, right before a gigantic, aberrant swarm of infernal, flighted ants descended with fiery rage and blazing, feral conviction to tear them all to shreds.

There it was.
The abhorrent sound of these monsters reverberated everywhere on the cliffs, making their eardrums ring painfully.
Aquarina was the first to move, stepping forward, or well, upwards, into the skies themselves, and into the blazing maws of the ants.

Through the usage of {Heavenly Ste}, an Ability and Skill that Aquarina created on her own by releasing Ki and Mana from her foot while moving in thee empty air, she reached dozens of ants at once.
“SHYAAAAAH!”
Her Abyssal Ocean Hydra Aura roared mightily, a transformed, “corrupted” version of her original Draconic Aura, her own Beast Aura itself, as its long necks stretched even further, their massive maws catching seven ants in an instant, stopping them from reaching Aquarina, and crushing them with their massive mandibles.
CRAAASH! CRAAASH! CRAAASH!
As the ants’ bodies helplessly exploded into pieces and splattered into the ground, in that split second, Aquarina spun in midair, holding her two blades with her hands, gripping them tightly.
“{Dragon Blade Arts}: {Abyssal Sea Serpent’s Whirlpool}!”
FLUOOOSH!
She spun in midair as she moved upwards, her Aura and her Magic combined with her Spiritual Powers, manifesting a giant whirlpool of abyssal energies and cold water, splashing upwards as her two swords cut through anything in her path, while the whirlpool blew away the ants and covered them on small spears made of cursed abyssal frost.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
Dozens of flying ants were cut down, sliced apart into pieces, and exploding everywhere, and yet more came after her, attacking Aquarina’s back, they moved incredibly quickly, as most flighted bugs did.
However, Aquarina’s backside was no longer defenseless, her incredibly long tail moved around rapidly, attacking those daring to attack her from behind.
“{Dark Whip Arts}: {Abyssal Coiling Snake}!”
Her tail itself moved like a snake, coiling around many ants and then crushing them! Then, as several died, her tail whipped against the other ants, sending them flying away into the ground.
CRASH! CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!
All of this happened as Aquarina looked into the skies, her blades rapidly clashing against dozens of ants coming down, their claws quickly intercepting her.
CRAAASH!
Her blades shattered into pieces against their combined attack, only to quickly reveal the daggers inside, which Aquarina had no qualms in using.
“{Abyssal Shadow Dagger Arts}: {Dark Slash Storm}!”
