"YOU BITCH!"

Morningstar barked when he noticed what she was doing.

Letting go of every other distraction, Morningstar focused on Esmeray.

He flew towards her at such an incredible speed that it sent shockwaves throughout the domain.

In no time, the First Dragon was upon her, his massive fist ready to obliterate the one who tried to encage him.

Esmeray remained eerily calm under the incoming attack.

She raised the silver sword in her hand.

Like a puppet being controlled by a puppet master, Morningstar paused at the very last moment.

It gave Esmeray enough time to swing her sword into his fist, splitting it down the middle.

Once the First Dragon got control of his body back, he immediately flew back.

Cautiously, he looked at her unlike his normal arrogant self.

"....What are you doing?" he asked, jerking his hand, which healed its injuries in an instant.

Esmeray looked at the droplets of blood on her sword and said lifelessly,

"Look around, lizard. What do you see?"

Morningstar finally had the time to take a good look at the woman’s domain instead of instinctively dismissing it.

Her domain looked cartoonishly perfect. It had everything from mountains, rivers, and forests. It was scenery that could be looked at for hours.

But beneath the perfection were silver threads that integrated everything together.

Even the falling droplets of his own blood had become connected.

Every object, movement, and fragment that existed within her domain had become another thread woven into an unimaginably vast web.

And at the very centre of that web, Esmeray stood quietly, holding the silver sword in one hand.

Like a spider patiently waiting for its prey to realize it had already become trapped.

"You whore."

Morningstar growled when he finally understood why she had asked him to look around.

She was wasting his time in order to gain deeper control of his body.

BOOOMMM!!

The First Dragon immediately burst forth like a meteor falling from the sky.

But his movement halted for a split second once more.

The next instant, an arrow came from the starry night sky.

It pierced straight through Morningstar’s right lung before erupting from his back in a shower of blood.

Innana knocked another arrow in her bow-like weapon while she aimed at the monster.

Morningstar quickly rushed out of her attack zone once he got a hold of his body.

"It must feel humiliating, isn’t it?"

Just to enrage him more, Esmeray said with a fake smile.

"Even for a split second, someone else is taking control of your body as though she owns you."

Morningstar’s face flushed with unfiltered anger.

He flexed his muscles to their utmost.

"I will shower in your blood, filth."

His body vanished and appeared right behind Esmeray, hand raised high.

But his body betrayed him once again and paused at the last second.

"You still don’t understand, do you?" Esmeray tilted her head back to look at him.

"You have already lost. It’s only a matter of time before I take over you completely."

Morningstar’s pupils narrowed into thin vertical slits.

"Heh..."

"Hehehe..."

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

The First Dragon threw his head back as his laughter echoed throughout the three domains.

"So that is your plan."

His eyes slowly met Esmeray’s grey eyes.

"You believe these little strings can enslave me?"

His words had just left his mouth when Esmeray fully turned around.

"They are not what makes me confident," she replied emotionlessly. "It’s your ignorance and arrogance."

Esmeray knew that Morningstar would not use his own kingdom.

In case he did, the corruption that the Creator God would inflict on him would be too much for him to bear.

It was a common problem shared by both him and Samyaza, and she was more than happy to take advantage of it.

And just to prove her point, Esmeray snapped her fingers.

Morningstar felt as if all those silver threads trying to penetrate his body were suddenly gone.

His grin grew even wider as he said, "Stupid bitch."

Morningstar roared and rushed at her once again.

Esmeray dodged the strike, albeit she was slightly grazed.

Under the bombardment of punches, Esmeray moved back towards the mountains of her kingdom.

"Do you know why I am so confident?" she asked with a smile on her face.

A smile that was stretched far too much.

A smile that made her look like Satan before he pulled an outrageous prank.

"It’s because of him."

Just as those words left her mouth, a puppet-like figure rushed out of the mountains.

Morningstar’s face turned horrified when he noticed who that puppet was.

His pupils constricted to the size of needles.

The puppet had long black hair and blue eyes, a divine face, and a lifeless gaze.

If Himmel had seen him, he would have recognized that it was, at the same time, both Inder and--

"A-Azreal?"

The puppet looked just like the Angel of Death and the younger brother of Morningstar.

The First Dragon did not hesitate to cross his fingers.

"COME FORTH MY KING---!!"

His words came to a halt when an arrow whistled toward them.

But it wasn’t aimed at him; it was aimed at Esmeray.

As soon as the arrow hit the woman, an explosion blinded them both.

The shockwave tore through the mountains of her kingdom, flattening forests and sending rivers into the sky.

The smoke instantly rolled away, revealing Esmeray guarded by the puppet Azreal.

The woman was bleeding from several places, and part of her face was also damaged.

Her gaze slowly shifted towards Innana, who was breathing raggedly.

"Y-you..." Her words weren’t even coherent. "How... could... you."

Esmeray didn’t reply. She just looked at her with a lifeless gaze.

Slowly, her mouth opened. "...His blood will be on your hands."

The next instant, Esmeray retracted her domain.

The shift in the balance of power made the other two domains fall apart as well.

El, who was already weak, felt the greatest impact.

Innana tried to find Esmeray, but she couldn’t.

Morningstar felt the same feeling of being liberated once again.

...Esmeray had never taken away the sliver threads out of his body. He only got free once the domain was taken away.

Have he kept on fighting he would have fallen for her trick.

But finally getting a chance, Morningstar did not hesitate to fly towards Himmel’s position.

Innana rushed right after him, albeit she reacted far too late.

---

Both of them rushed in while Oliver kept blipping their positions.

Himmel, with his broken body, could only last for some time.

They needed to end the fight as quickly as possible.

Without thinking about the consequences, Himmel summoned his half-broken purple crown.

He tried to summon his daughters as well, but it was to no avail.

Someone was blocking him from doing it.

The cracked purple crown slowly formed above his head.

Himmel looked up at Ragnar, who was still massaging his broken nose.

With a small breath, he got a hold of his anger and shot up into the sky.

Using El’s blessing, Himmel rejected all the limitations placed upon him, including the involvement of fate.

His body moved seamlessly despite being broken in every way.

"Just die!!"

As soon as Himmel got closer, Ragnar raised his sword and tried to squash him like a pest.

Himmel used his wings to change direction before turning and kicking the redhead in the face with his shin.

On the other hand, Oliver was using his ability to teleport to make sure he kept Teivel busy.

The pale man swung his chain and tried to grab Oliver with it.

Teivel’s chain hissed through the air like a venomous serpent.

CLANG!!!

Oliver vanished a fraction of a second before it wrapped around the mountain behind him.

The entire cliff collapsed into thousands of pieces before falling into the valley below.

Oliver reappeared dozens of metres away, breathing heavily.

"Persistent bastard..."

Without giving him a moment to recover, Teivel flicked his wrist.

BOOOOOOOOM!!!

Ragnar’s body crashed through three mountain peaks before finally stopping.

Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.

He wiped it away with the back of his hand before laughing loudly.

"Hahaha! I knew it!"

His golden eyes filled with rings burned with excitement as they locked onto Himmel.

"You’re still strong!"

BOOOOOOOOM!!!

His body shot forward once again. This time, he abandoned every ounce of technique.

He simply swung his gigantic sword again and again. Himmel remained completely silent.

El’s blessing flowed through his battered body.

His broken leg moved as though it had never been injured. His shattered arm followed every command without hesitation.

SHHHHK!!!

The colossal blade narrowly grazed his shoulder.

Himmel twisted around it, his wings folding tightly against his back.

Using Ragnar’s own sword as a foothold, he stepped onto its broad surface and sprinted toward its owner.

BOOOOOOOOM!!!

Himmel ducked beneath the fist. The pressure alone burst the clouds behind him.

Without slowing down, he planted his remaining foot against Ragnar’s chest.

CRAAAAACK!!!

Using the impact as leverage, Himmel launched himself upward.

His knee drove straight into Ragnar’s jaw, and the redhead’s head snapped backward.

Before he could recover, Himmel spun in midair. His wings flared open.

BOOOOOOOOM!!!

His heel crashed into Ragnar’s temple. The Child of Mana plummeted toward the earth like a burning comet.

The moment his back struck the ground, Himmel folded his wings and dived after him.

He used his broken body to its full capabilities.

"Himmel!!"

But before he could reach him, Oliver’s horrified voice echoed from behind.

Before he could understand what was happening, Morningstar swept in, grabbed Himmel by the face, and flew up into the sky.

Without waiting for anyone, he brought both of them into space and kept rushing towards the Sun.
