Reincarnated as an Energy with a System

Chapter 1806: Replacing Plovaxis

Chapter 1806: Replacing Plovaxis

<All Energy Cap Removed>

<Creating Link with the Constellation Will known as ’Plovaxis’>

<Linking…>

<Linking…>

<Link Established Successfully>

Ning watched as the constellation barely managed to struggle while he sucked away all life from it, converting it into his own energy. It gave him a total of 422 Septillion Energy, which was one of the highest amounts of energy he had absorbed from any constellations in recent times.

He then turned toward Ely and Emma. “Are you two okay?” he asked.

“I… I think so,” Ely said. “What happened? I didn’t notice anything.”

“Something was wrong,” Emma said from the side. “It felt like something took over my mind and forced me to stop thinking for a while.”

“What’s going on, Ning?” Ely asked. “Who were those two just now?”

Ning explained the situation.

Ely was shocked to hear that they were just ambushed by a Galactic Will. Her heart beat faster when she remembered what had happened the last time a Galactic Will had been involved.

“Are you okay? Is it still you? Did he take you away?” she asked in worry.

“It’s me. I’m alright,” Ning said. “It wasn’t interested in capturing me this time. It wanted me to help it make a system instead.”

“What? A System?” Ely frowned. “Don’t you hate those?”

“Not all,” Ning said. “And I agreed. So we will soon be going over to meet him. Well, I will. I don’t think I want either of you outside when I meet him again.”

Ely slowly nodded.

“I… I didn’t even realize what had happened,” Emma said softly. “I couldn’t protect Mama at all.”

Ely held her daughter tightly.

Ning frowned a little as well. He didn’t like how the Galactic Will was able to bypass his senses and do something to his family. He understood that those Wills had the power to hide from the System, but it was still quite scary how concealed they were to his senses.

’Is there no way to sense them at all?’ Ning asked.

<There are ways, but they cost far too much energy. At your current level of energy, only the likes of Planetary Wills and Celestial Wills can be located.>

That just meant Ning had to find and absorb a lot more energy now.

The ship disappeared from around them, and the three hovered in the middle of space. Emma easily protected her mother there, not that Ely needed it. Her body cultivation was strong enough that even in space, she could easily survive.

She couldn’t, however, navigate her way through space as she had nothing that would allow her to do so. Most energies, whether they be Qi or Mana, failed to work outside of their own system.

It was in very rare cases that energies could be activated beyond their planet of origin.

“The constellation we came for is dead,” Ning spoke directly into their minds. “We have no reason to go down to that planet, but since we’re already here, why don’t we go and see what is up with that world? We might also have to help them since one of their great leaders has suddenly gone missing.”

Ning went down to the planet, arriving outside of a certain city. He didn’t plan on staying there for long, so he wasn’t really looking to do much. However, as he began living there, he realized just how terrible life was for most of those people.

Just a few days in, he decided to change that.

The first thing he did was disguise himself as Plovaxis and become the king of the greatest nation in Tormala. Plovaxis wasn’t quite as depraved as another constellation had been when he was a king, but he had allowed for others to do the same.

The first thing he did was change that.

Plovaxis held a court of 13 other people, all of whom followed his words. These 13 were the second-highest power in the whole world, and with that power, they could do whatever they wished.

So, Ning immediately rid himself of the court. As soon as the court was gone, any slaves or wives they had gathered forcefully were taken away from them as well, finally given the freedom they deserved.

The 13 claimed that their King had been replaced, but no one listened to them. Plovaxis was the true ruler, so they accepted his word and his word alone.

Ning gave freedom to those enslaved, power to those that were beaten. He slowly reformed the country from the inside before finally revealing his intent on the outside.

Without Plovaxis, the seaweeds that were used to produce oil necessary for making Green Ink finally started growing all throughout the continent, no longer a commodity that could only be found through Plovaxis’s nation.

He also stopped the need for celebrating Plovaxis, but his recent changes seemed to make that impossible. There was nothing short of wiping Plovaxis from everyone’s memories that could stop them from celebrating Plovaxis now.

The dead Constellation might soon again be reborn. Of course, when he was reborn, he would be a completely new being.

By now, everyone knew Plovaxis had changed. In fact, many even started the conspiracy that the real Plovaxis was dead and the new one was someone who had used some ancient power of Green to take over his body and become the new ruler.

However, no one did anything with that conspiracy. No one fought Plovaxis. No one demanded he get off.

The world had changed for the better, and that simply meant that all of Tormala was happy for what had happened to Plovaxis. Not a single one wanted to replace him now.

Alas, Ning had to leave one way or another. So, he set up a large competition where anyone could take part. The greatest of them, in both body and mind, would be given the seat that he would vacate.

The tournament ran for an entire year, and at the end, a young man became the new king.

Once the new king ascended his throne, Ning left to go visit the rest of Tormala with his family.
