Reincarnated as a damn planet
Chapter 149: Spare no one
The first individual stepped onto the unfamiliar world. He belonged to the Lizardman race, his scaled feet pressing against the foreign soil as he slowly looked around, observing the surroundings with cautious eyes.
To his surprise, the landscape looked strangely familiar. The hills, plains, distant mountains, and even the way the wind moved across the grass reminded him strongly of Essiel, as if he had somehow returned to another part of his own world.
"Is this the foreign land?"
The next individual stepped out behind him, followed by another, then another. Soon, dozens of warriors had emerged from the gateway, each one looking around with the same confusion as they realized that the foreign world looked remarkably similar to their homeland.
"Did we really travel toward the stars? Then why does this place look so similar to our lands?" another individual asked, his eyes wandering across the distant horizon.
More and more forces continued to step through the gateway. Hundreds of warriors eventually emerged, followed by enormous griffons, flying beasts, mages, knights, demons, beastmen, fishmen, gnomes, elves, and countless other races that had gathered under the Entity’s command.
Then, the voice of the Entity suddenly rang across the entire army, reaching every individual regardless of where they stood.
"Destroy every one of them. Do not allow them to resist, and do not hesitate because they appear innocent. If we leave them alive, they will become the very beings who will one day destroy us, massacre our civilizations, and turn our world into a graveyard, so we will strike them now, while they are still unable to fight back."
The forces briefly stopped in their tracks after hearing those words. Some tightened their grips around their weapons, while others exchanged uncertain glances, but none questioned the command.
They continued marching onward.
For nearly twenty minutes, thousands of warriors crossed the unfamiliar landscape, their footsteps shaking the earth as they moved deeper into the foreign territory. Eventually, something appeared in the distance.
A lively village stood beyond the rolling hills, surrounded by a thick wooden wall that stretched around its perimeter. Small houses with sloped roofs filled the settlement, while a tall watchtower rose above the walls, allowing its guards to observe the surrounding fields, and near the center of the village stood a large stone structure resembling a church, its pointed roof visible even from afar.
Two guards stood near the entrance, both carrying simple weapons and wearing crude armor.
Their skin was green, their bodies short and thin compared to the warriors approaching them, and neither appeared to have noticed the enormous army moving toward their home.
The entire force abruptly stopped.
Thousands of warriors stood motionless across the plains, their weapons already prepared as they waited for the Entity’s command. The village remained peaceful in the distance, completely unaware that an army from another world had just arrived with the intention of destroying it.
For two whole minutes, nothing happened.
Then the Entity’s voice finally echoed across the battlefield. "Unleash yourselves, and spare no one."
His voice reverberated through the land.
Almost immediately, something surged from within the warriors. Their blood began to boil, their hearts pounded against their chests, and an overwhelming urge to fight spread throughout the army as countless weapons were raised.
For a brief moment, there was complete silence.
Then one of the mages stepped forward and extended his hand toward the village.
"FIRELANCE!"
A blazing sphere of fire erupted from his palm and shot across the battlefield like a burning comet. It slammed directly into the village wall, exploding upon impact and tearing apart a large section of the wooden barricade as flames spread across the shattered remains.
"RAH!!!!!"
"KILL THEM!"
"IT’S BEEN SO LONG SINCE I COULD FINALLY KILL! FUCK THE OVERWORLD FOR MAKING SHIT IMMORTALS!"
"THOSE PESKY UGLY THINGS! I WONDER IF THEIR BLOOD IS ALSO GREEN!"
The army erupted into a deafening roar. Cries of war echoed from every corner of the battlefield as thousands of warriors surged forward at once, their footsteps pounding against the earth while spells, weapons, and supernatural abilities began to fill the air.
The peaceful silence of the village disappeared within seconds.
Warriors rushed toward the broken wall from every direction, some sprinting across the ground while others leaped over one another in their eagerness to reach the village first. Mages unleashed fire, lightning, wind, and other destructive spells toward the settlement, while warriors raised their weapons and charged directly through the opening created by the first attack.
Above them, the Griffon Race launched themselves into the sky.
Hundreds of enormous griffons spread their wings simultaneously, their powerful wingbeats sending violent gusts across the battlefield as they climbed high above the village. Their riders and accompanying mages began gathering magical energy, causing flashes of different colors to illuminate the sky before countless spells were hurled downward.
Explosions erupted across the village walls.
Large sections of the wooden barricade shattered under the bombardment, sending splinters and broken debris flying through the air.
Some griffons swooped down immediately afterward, their claws tearing through the remaining defenses while others continued circling overhead, raining destruction upon anything that attempted to flee.
The warriors then flooded through the broken walls.
Goblins inside the village froze in shock as they watched thousands of unfamiliar beings pour into their home.
Some desperately reached for weapons, while others screamed and ran through the streets, their voices filled with confusion and terror as they called out to one another in a language none of the invaders understood.
But the army did not stop.
The goblins scattered in every direction, attempting to escape through houses, alleys, and fields beyond the village. Their cries echoed throughout the settlement, yet the invading forces continued advancing, cutting down every goblin they encountered as flames spread from one building to another.
Houses were engulfed in fire as magical attacks struck rooftops and walls. Warriors kicked through doors, shattered windows, and pursued fleeing goblins through the burning streets, while griffons continued attacking from above, ensuring that anyone attempting to escape the village would be met by another wave of destruction.
Death followed wherever the army went.
One goblin fell, then another, and another, until the streets that had once been filled with ordinary life were covered in destruction. The invaders showed no hesitation, their wrath overwhelming the helpless village as flames climbed toward the sky and the first settlement of the foreign world was reduced to chaos.
