Reincarnated as a damn planet
Chapter 105: The gods on which they rule
Olium was the first to step forward. His eyes remained calm as he looked toward the Entity, his voice carrying the dignity of an ancient ruler.
"I shall take authority over the Forest, for I was the first to rule among the elves. And I shall also bear the authority of Sacrifice. I have witnessed what must be given up for others to live."
Liam raised his hand, and his voice reverberated throughout the Consciousness Space.
"Olium. God of the Forest. God of Sacrifice."
The moment his divine title was spoken, the very realm seemed to acknowledge it.
Odir stepped forward next, his massive frame casting a shadow across the ground.
"I am Odir, the first among the lizardmen. I have fought with my life, my blood, and my strength. Therefore, I shall take authority over Bravery and War. Let every warrior who stands before death remember my name."
"Odir. God of Bravery. God of War."
Odir lowered himself to one knee.
Moleius followed, his ancient eyes carrying the weight of countless years. "I have devoted my existence to Wisdom and Knowledge. I have read the Book of the True God and sought understanding beyond what mortals were meant to comprehend. I shall therefore bear the authority of Wisdom."
Liam’s gaze rested upon him. "Moleius. God of Wisdom."
A faint radiance descended upon Moleius as he bowed.
Trias then stepped forward, her expression gentle yet resolute.
"I shall take authority over Protection, Salvation, and Motherhood. I have learned the meaning of protecting another life, of sacrificing oneself so that another may continue living. If there are those who seek shelter beneath my authority, then I shall grant them my blessing."
"Trias. Goddess of Motherhood. Goddess of Protection. Goddess of Salvation."
Her name echoed through the heavens of the Consciousness Space.
Wias approached next, his eyes filled with an unyielding desire to discover what lay beyond the known.
"I have spent my existence pushing the boundaries of what is possible. Every limitation is merely a question waiting to be answered. I shall therefore take authority over Invention and Discovery."
"Wias. God of Invention. God of Discovery."
Coasta lowered his head before speaking. "I am but a humble fishman. I have no grand achievements worthy of the heavens, but I wish for my people to prosper. I shall take authority over Water and Harvest, so that the seas may provide and the lands may flourish."
"Coasta. God of Water. God of Harvest."
Rize then stepped forward. Though young compared to the others, his eyes carried a determination that did not waver.
"I do not yet know what it means to bear the authority of a god. But I shall devote everything I possess to this world. Give me Fire, and I shall become its flame. Give me the Blade, and I shall become the edge that protects it."
Liam looked upon him.
"Rize. God of Fire. God of Blades."
Then Liam’s gaze shifted toward the others.
"Now... those who have chosen the path beyond righteousness."
Sebastian Flyde stepped forward.
"I have walked through centuries of darkness. I have taken thousands of lives, and death has long since ceased to frighten me. If death must have a guardian, then let it be me. I shall take authority over Darkness, Death, and Night."
"Sebastian Flyde. God of Darkness. God of Death. God of Night."
The darkness around Sebastian deepened.
Pandi stepped forward afterward, her expression almost cheerful despite the gravity of the moment.
"I wished for nothing. The True Creator has already granted me more than I could have asked for. I can spend eternity with Gramps now."
She smiled. "But if I must choose... Blood is delicious, and destruction is fun. I shall take both."
"Pandi Flyde. Goddess of Blood. Goddess of Destruction."
Akuma slowly raised his head. "I have lived through a century of emptiness. I know what it means to be abandoned, to be forgotten, and to have no one reach out a hand. I shall take authority over Despair and the Forsaken. If I can prevent another from suffering what I suffered, then my existence shall have meaning."
"Akuma. Goddess of Despair. Goddess of the Forsaken."
Ragnir stepped forward, lightning beginning to crackle around his body.
"Lightning. Pride. Those are the authorities I shall carry. Let the heavens remember my name whenever thunder shakes the world."
"Ragnir. God of Lightning. God of Pride."
Akira gave a small smile. "I was born into a merchant family. Greed has followed humanity since the beginning of civilization. Wealth moves nations, creates kingdoms, and destroys them just as easily. I shall take authority over Greed."
"Akira. God of Greed."
Calean stepped forward, his presence carrying something far darker. "I seek no authority that requires kindness. I wish only to punish those who are unfit to exist among the strong. I shall take authority over Insects and the Underworld."
"Calean. God of Insects. God of the Underworld."
Finally, Catalyst raised his head. "Dragons. Ice."
His voice was short, yet the temperature of the entire realm seemed to drop.
"I shall bear their authority."
Liam’s voice descended upon the realm. "Catalyst. God of Dragons. God of Ice."
".... God of Evil"
"Le Von Dia, God of Evil"
Silence followed.
The gathered gods lowered their heads, their divine authorities now resting upon their souls. Some carried light, others darkness. Some would protect civilizations, while others would challenge them. Yet all of them now possessed a purpose within the world Liam intended to create.
One by one, they knelt before the Entity.
Not as mortals kneeling before a king. But as gods acknowledging the existence of the one who stood above them all.
Liam raised his hands.
The entire Consciousness Space trembled.
A tremendous wave of divine energy erupted from his body, spreading through the heavens as countless white orbs emerged from the void. They descended upon the newly appointed gods, entering their bodies and illuminating their souls.
Their authorities awakened. The laws of the world began to recognize them.
Liam looked down upon them from above.
"Very well."
His voice was no longer merely that of a man.
It was the voice of the one who had given gods their names.
"Your authorities shall be granted."
