Yu Qi offered Long Hui a sweet, fond smile at his protective antics. With the clean phone now in hand, she turned her attention back toward Master Liang.

"671117." Master Liang blurted out automatically under the potion’s influence.

Yu Qi tapped in the digits, and the screen instantly unlocked.

"What name is he saved under?"

Master Liang gave the name, and Yu Qi typed it into the search bar, pulling up the contact profile. She opened the chat log and scrolled through the exchange between Master Liang and Wong Fu Siang. The most recent message, sent three months prior, detailed an explicit transaction involving human trafficking.

Her expression grew progressively colder with every line she read.
