"One hundred units!" Cecilia repeated, her voice clear and serious.

Mr. Young’s eyes widened. Even behind his sunglasses, Wesley Yates looked utterly incredulous. The two exchanged a glance, clearly baffled by Cecilia’s sudden demand.

"Wait a minute..." Mr. Young snapped out of it and asked curiously, "Cecilia, what are you going to do with so many properties? Are you trying to flip them? The market for flipping has been dead for a while, and the regulations are tight. It’s not a safe bet."

Wesley Yates shook his head as well. "That’s not how you flip houses, anyway. Flipping a hundred units in the same complex? I’ve never heard of such a thing."

Both men were veterans who had lived through the real estate speculation boom. Wesley Yates had made a pretty penny back then, and as for Mr. Young—who owned six major real estate groups across the country—he had raked in a fortune.

Cecilia listened to them with a playful smile on her face. "Jeb, Mr. Young," she said leisurely, "what do I know about flipping houses? I have other plans for them. Mr. Young, just tell me if it’s a yes or a no."

"If you really want them, of course I’ll say yes. But I’m afraid you’ll take a big loss. Even if you’re buying them internally from your own project at the lowest possible price, a hundred units is no small sum."

Mr. Young was being completely honest. Even though Sunstone District wasn’t a prime economic zone, it was still in the Capital, Lorcain. Property prices there couldn’t be that cheap.

Of course, Cecilia understood that Mr. Young was looking out for her.

"I know all that, so don’t worry, Mr. Young. I’m not buying these houses to make a profit. Whether I make money or lose it doesn’t really matter to me."

Cecilia said this nonchalantly, but inwardly, she was more confident than anyone. Just like with Genesis Park, the moment the development permits for Sunstone District were approved, the value of all her properties and land would skyrocket.

It was like a cheat code from her second life; her foresight of the future was clearer than anyone else’s.

"Since Cecilia has a plan, you should just go along with it, Young," Wesley Yates suddenly spoke up. "Where else are you going to find such a hands-off partner?"

His words made Mr. Young laugh.

It was true. Working with Cecilia, all she did was provide the capital. Since she didn’t understand the project details, she wouldn’t interfere, leaving everything to be handled by his real estate company.

Having absolute authority and decision-making power was extremely important for Mr. Young’s company.

"Alright, since Cecilia is the one asking, of course I’ll agree. Are a hundred units enough?"

Cecilia nodded. "It’s enough."

’Any more would be a hassle to manage.’

Mr. Young thought for a moment, then offered Cecilia some advice. "Although Lorcain’s policies on personal property purchase limits have been relaxed, one person buying a hundred units is definitely not allowed. No matter how relaxed the policy gets, the cap isn’t nearly that high."

"Here’s what you do: go register a property investment company and acquire these properties in the company’s name."

Transferring them to a company was a convenient solution. Cecilia asked, "Will that be enough to make it work?"

"Of course it’s not that simple, but you have me, don’t you?" Mr. Young said with a laugh. "You register the company, and I’ll take care of the rest."

Hearing this, Cecilia quickly nodded with a smile. "Alright then, I’m in your hands for this one, Mr. Young."

Mr. Young chuckled and shook his head. "You little rascal. You claim you don’t know this or that, but if you ask me, you’re the shrewdest of all. You’re taking a stake in the project to make money one way, and now you’re getting a hundred units to make money another way. No wonder you’re so accomplished at such a young age. You’ve never taken a loss, have you?"

Cecilia pursed her lips in a bashful manner but still nodded without hiding it. "It’s true. I’ve just been lucky."

"Luck is important, but I’ve never seen anyone succeed on luck alone. Let me tell you, if you find any big money-making opportunities in the future, don’t forget about me. I’d like to borrow some of your luck to get rich, too."

"No problem. Mr. Young and my brother have been so good to me, I would never keep it all for myself."

Joyful laughter filled the private room, sweeping away the brief, somber mood from earlier.

After the gathering, Cecilia saw Wesley Yates and Mr. Young off one after the other. She herself stayed behind in the first-floor lounge to sit for a while.

Beside her was the sealed file folder that Jeb had left for her. She couldn’t open it to look inside.

’Although they hadn’t discussed it further, she felt a vague sense of unease. The whole thing doesn’t fit my brother’s style at all. Why would he leave something so important with me? And why would it be Mr. Young calling to tell me when it’s time to use it?’

"Miss Sterling?"

Just then, Julie approached and called her name softly.

Cecilia snapped back to reality and turned her head to look, offering a faint smile. "Julie, are you done with work?"

Julie smiled, sat down next to her, and handed something to Cecilia. "Miss Sterling, here are the three unlimited Black Gold Cards you asked me to custom order."

"Thank you," Cecilia said, reaching out to take them.

These three Black Gold Cards had no spending limit. With them, one could enjoy all of Aetherium’s services and amenities without spending a single penny.

She had prepared them for her mother, sister, and brother. They could come here to relax and have fun whenever they were bored. Although it was a business club, it offered a wealth of entertainment options and restaurants featuring various international cuisines.

It had everything one could want for entertainment, food, and drink.

"You’re welcome. The cardholders’ information has already been entered into the system. They don’t need to carry the cards; facial recognition will work as well."

Cecilia nodded in understanding and stood up. "I’ll be leaving this place in your capable hands, then. I should get going."

Julie also stood and thanked Cecilia again from the bottom of her heart. "Thank you so much, Miss Sterling."

The two women shared a smile, and Julie personally escorted Cecilia to the door, watching as she drove away.

Meanwhile, Jasmine Sterling successfully completed her first housekeeping job.

"Mina, here’s a box of bird’s nest. It expires in less than two months. I recently switched to a new brand, so you can take this home and have it."

Before they left, Miss Lawson actually brought out a box of high-end bird’s nest and handed it to Mina.

This was something only the wealthy could afford; it was very expensive. Mina was delighted. After a couple of polite refusals, she accepted it. "Thank you, Miss Lawson! I’ve never even seen bird’s nest before."

"Don’t mention it. Just as long as you don’t mind taking it," Miss Lawson said. Her tone was light, but it was clear she had a very good upbringing.

After leaving the client’s home, Warner couldn’t help but feel a little envious. "That Miss Lawson doesn’t look very old, but she’s surprisingly generous."

Since this was one of Mina’s regular clients, the gift was clearly intended for Mina alone. Warner was too embarrassed to ask to split it.

Jasmine Sterling had no desire for the bird’s nest at all. The kind Cecilia bought for her was also top-grade, and afraid of it going to waste, she occasionally forced herself to drink a bowl. To be honest, it didn’t taste very good, and she couldn’t get used to it.
