Shen Nian looked exasperated. ’I’m not scared! What on earth gave her the idea that I was scared?’

Chu Lingxiu was surprised to see Chu Yunze, but he was even more astonished to see her coming down with Shen Nian.

’But it had only been a few days. How was his sister already with Shen Nian? And from the looks of it, they seemed to be getting along quite well!’

Chu Lingxiu truly never imagined that the person looking for Shen Nian would be her own big brother. Her brother had come to campus to see another girl instead of his own sister. If it had been anyone else, she might have actually gotten angry.

Chu Yunze said with a smile. You could tell that he was genuinely happy right now.

"Brother Yunze, did you come to see me about something?"

"Right, let’s get down to business. I came to tell you not to go to the corporation this Friday. We all heard about your run-in with the Qin Family. Grandfather was furious and insists on getting justice for you. So, this Friday, he’s planning to hold a banquet for you and Lu Cheng to formally introduce you both. He wants to let everyone know that you’re part of the Chu Family now, and not people to be trifled with! I’ll come pick you up ahead of time, and Lu Cheng will head there directly."

"I understand. Thank you for coming all this way, Brother Yunze. You really could have just called."

Shen Nian knew this was a kind gesture from the Chu Family, so of course she wouldn’t refuse. Besides, given Lu Cheng’s current relationship with them, something like this was bound to happen sooner or later.
