"Oh, really? It’s a shame we won’t be in the same dorm anymore."

Chu Lingxiu said with a smile. She was actually a bit grateful to that Cao Yuqing. Otherwise, she probably would’ve had a hard time finding an excuse to move out of this dorm.

Gu Shuxin’s heart sank upon hearing Chu Lingxiu’s words. It was the first time Chu Lingxiu had ever been so direct about not wanting to be around her.

"For that, you’ll have to ask the one standing next to you."

Chu Lingxiu didn’t give a straight answer, simply looking at Gu Shuxin and Jiang Jiajia with a smile.

Seeing the smile on Chu Lingxiu’s face gave Jiang Jiajia a bad feeling. After hearing what Chu Lingxiu said, that feeling grew even stronger.

Sure enough, after hearing Chu Lingxiu, Gu Shuxin turned to Jiang Jiajia, her expression serious, and questioned her.

Gu Shuxin hadn’t forgotten that Cao Yuqing and Shen Nian were roommates. Now Chu Lingxiu was swapping with Cao Yuqing... which meant Lingxiu would end up in the same dorm as Shen Nian?

The thought of Chu Lingxiu and Shen Nian sharing a dorm surfaced, and the first thing that came to Gu Shuxin’s mind was what benefit she could get out of the situation.

Gu Shuxin knew that Chu Lingxiu and Shen Nian already had a deep-seated conflict that had started because of her. Lingxiu had even physically injured Shen Nian in the past. Moreover, Lingxiu had vehemently expressed her dislike for Shen Nian right in front of her.

So, Gu Shuxin wasn’t worried about Chu Lingxiu and Shen Nian getting along as roommates. With Lingxiu’s personality, she would probably just make Shen Nian’s life miserable!

Even better, given her relationship with Chu Lingxiu, it probably wouldn’t be hard to get information about Shen Nian from her.

The more Gu Shuxin thought about it, the more feasible this plan seemed. Even if it meant she couldn’t be roommates with Chu Lingxiu, it didn’t feel like such a pity anymore.
