Fu Mingxue knew Qin Wenying’s matter was urgent, so after returning to the conference room, she compressed her workload.

Two hours later, she came out of her office and saw Qin Wenying waiting outside.

"Let’s go, Sis!"

"Alright." Qin Wenying had ridden her bicycle over.

But her bicycle was no match for Fu Mingxue’s modified electric one.

Fortunately, when the motor wasn’t engaged, it could be ridden like a regular bicycle.

After the two of them rode out of the factory complex, Qin Wenying asked, "Do you work this late every day?"

Fu Mingxue shook her head. "No, just for the past few days. There’s been something going on here. By the way, Sis, what did you need to see me about?"

"I’m here to ask you to fix an airplane." Qin Wenying got straight to the point.

She added, "I already went to the military family compound, but I didn’t expect you to be in Beijing City. I should’ve called first; then I wouldn’t have made a trip for nothing."

Fu Mingxue was stunned when she heard the words "fix an airplane."

’Seriously? In their eyes, were my repair skills really that incredible?’

’Why did they all keep coming to me to fix airplanes?’

’Had I ever mentioned that my actual specialty was engine R&D?’

"—Where’s the plane?"

"It’s at a base. We can fly directly there from here. It should take about four hours."

"Do we have to leave tonight?" Fu Mingxue had class tomorrow.

Her course here was almost finished.

It didn’t seem right to leave without making proper arrangements.

A repair job like this definitely wouldn’t be a quick fix.

After all, if it took four hours to fly there, wouldn’t it take four hours to fly back?

Qin Wenying said, "If we can leave tonight, that would be best. If not, seven in the morning tomorrow works too."

Fu Mingxue thought for a moment, then said, "Tonight is fine. How about this: you head back first, and I’ll make a trip to the university."

Director Zheng might still be at the university at this hour.

If he wasn’t there, that was fine too. She’d leave a note for Director Zheng and ask campus security to give it to him first thing in the morning.

The note would ask him to arrange her class for tomorrow.

"Don’t you want me to come with you?" Qin Wenying was simply worried—it was late at night, and with a sister-in-law as beautiful as hers, it wasn’t very safe.

Fu Mingxue shook her head. "Your bike is too slow, and mine is much faster. By the time you get home, I might already be back."

She didn’t voice the fact that Qin Wenying tagging along would only slow her down.

Hearing this, Qin Wenying finally noticed that Fu Mingxue’s bicycle seemed to have been modified—it was just like the one back at the family compound.

"—Alright then. I’ll go home and wait for you. You be safe, too."

Fu Mingxue nodded. "Okay."

With that, she immediately accelerated and rode off.

Watching the bicycle rapidly speed away, Qin Wenying couldn’t help but click her tongue—once again marveling at what great virtues her younger brother must have accumulated in a past life to have such good luck in this one.

’What on earth did he do to deserve her?’

At that moment, Qin Wenhao, who was training deep in the mountains, couldn’t help but sneeze.

And with that, he gave away his position.

Fu Mingxue quickly arrived at the university.

The moment the security guards saw it was her, they let her onto campus immediately.

Fu Mingxue quickly made her way to Director Zheng’s office.

Director Zheng happened to still be there, and he was quite surprised to see her.

"What brings you back to the university at this hour?"

Suddenly, he remembered something else. "Oh, right, someone from the military was looking for you. Did you two not run into each other?"
