Reborn in the 80s and Remarrying an Officer, Let the Ungrateful Cry!
Chapter 388: A Little Smackdown
Perhaps it was thanks to the man on the bottom bunk, but the guy on the top bunk across from her finally stopped acting out.
Verbally, at least.
His lecherous gaze, however, kept drifting over to Fu Mingxue.
’Fucking hell. Others might be able to stand it, but I can’t.’
The twentieth time his lecherous gaze landed on her, Fu Mingxue leaped right down from her bunk.
Her sudden movement startled the other three men.
Fu Mingxue walked over to the bunks across from hers.
Then, she reached up and yanked the man down from his bunk.
The motion was wide and forceful.
The man came crashing down with a loud thud, startling the other two men.
Witnessing this, they shot up in their bunks and stared right at Fu Mingxue.
"Oww, my back! You bitch, you got a death wish?" the man howled, scrambling up from the floor.
He glared viciously at Fu Mingxue.
His glare was so ferocious, it looked like he wanted to swallow her whole.
And he did throw a punch, aiming right for Fu Mingxue’s face—
But a second later, Fu Mingxue snapped his wrist.
"ARGH, my hand—!" the man wailed in agony again.
Fu Mingxue didn’t let him off that easy. She slammed her clenched fist right into both of his eyes.
Instantly, he was sporting two black eyes.
The other two men hadn’t expected this seemingly frail girl to be so ferocious.
They could only stare, completely dumbfounded.
Fu Mingxue let him go and landed two swift kicks on his knees, forcing the man to kneel.
She looked down at the kneeling man and sneered, "Remember this. Don’t you dare keep looking at me with those shitty eyes. This was just a little lesson. You look again, and I’ll gouge them out."
’What a piece of shit.’
’No, that’s not right. He can’t even be compared to a dog. That would be an insult to dogs.’
"You—you’re dead—!" the man sputtered in a rage, trying to get up and attack her.
But Fu Mingxue kicked him again, then planted her foot on his chest.
She ground the tip of her boot into him and asked coldly, "Who’s dead?"
The man was completely pinned; he couldn’t even struggle.
If before he’d thought he was only beaten because the bitch had caught him off guard...
...now he was truly feeling her immense strength.
"Let me go—"
His plea was much weaker this time.
Fu Mingxue removed her foot, her expression cold.
Then she climbed back up to her bunk.
The man got up. He wanted to start cursing her out, but he knew he was no match for her.
He could only meekly prepare to climb to the top bunk, but the man from the bunk below stopped him.
"Your bunk is here."
The lecher’s eyes went wide. ’The fuck? Why should I?’
As if reading his mind, the other man casually flashed his knuckles.
The lecher: ...?
’No good. I can’t even beat one woman.’
’There’s no way I could take on two men.’
’I know these two are together.’
’And I already got my ass handed to me by the other one before.’
So, for now, all he could do was curse silently as he took his things down in utter frustration.
Fu Mingxue paid them no mind.
As long as they didn’t bother her, the three of them could do whatever they wanted.
She took a book out of her dimensional space and began to read.
Thanks to the scene she had made, the next three days were quite peaceful.
To her surprise, however, the two young men got off the train at the same stop she did.
But that was none of her business.
Just as she was wondering how to get home, a voice suddenly called out, "Mingxue, over here—!"
