Reborn as the Top Omega Hunter: My Alpha Hears My Inner Thoughts [BL]
Chapter 5: Lu Ye is Jiang Zihan
He had known for a long time that he was the ’real heir’ of the Gu family. So what?
Even if he returned to the Gu family, nothing would change. Nothing would change at all...
His parents had already known that he was the ’real heir’ years ago, though they had never once asked about how he had been.
Only that fool... was stupid enough to believe that his return would cause him to lose his position.
He placed a hand loosely over Jiang Zihan’s neck. If he used some power, he could immediately eliminate him.
But that’s way too boring...
In the past, he had believed that everything in this world would remain this dull and lifeless, but Jiang Zihan... why had he suddenly changed his attitude toward him?
Why had he saved him?
Was it because he was afraid that if he died, he would get into trouble? Or was it for some other reason?
No matter what the reason was, it brought something interesting to his life...
Maybe it was because his sight was so intense that Jiang Zihan seemed to sense it and slowly opened his eyes.
Jiang Zihan has more than once said that Mo Shiyan’s eyes were super beautiful, as if they were the most precious gem in the world. But now, it seemed like his own eyes were equally beautiful. They were a pale pink, like peach blossoms blooming in early spring. They were seemingly gentle, but if one looked closely into them, they were cold and emotionless on the inside.
Maybe deep in the bones, that was the actual Lu Ye.
The original Jiang Zihan would not have such a temperament; his eyes were always filled with greed.
But Lu Ye was different...
From this moment on, Lu Ye would be Jiang Zihan.
"You’re awake? How are you feeling right now?" Jiang Zihan asked, his voice sounding concerned.
His gaze was fixed on Mo Shiyan, trying to identify if he was feeling uncomfortable anywhere.
Then, it was as if he realized that this attitude was completely out of character, he froze for a moment before turning his head over to the side and said, "Don’t get the wrong idea. It’s not like I’m worried about you. It’s just that if you die here, I will be in trouble."
That should be the right attitude... right?
Mo Shiyan’s empty eyes looked straight towards Jiang Zihan, making him feel like he was being sneaked by a poison snake, with goosebumps rising over his body.
That look is so terrifying... He must have hated me to the bone... Jiang Zihan did not have any expression on his face, but inside, his tears were streaming like rivers.
Mo Shiyan’s eyes deepened a little.
Was he hallucinating because he slept for too long? Why did he hear Jiang Zihan’s voice echoing in his mind?
He lowered his eyes, hiding all the emotions under them and replied, "I know. But no matter what, thank you for bringing me to the school infirmary."
After saying so, he removed the blanket covering him and stood up to leave the room, but a hand blocked in front of him.
"You... you won’t be able to walk back with such a weak body. Since I was the one who brought you here, I have to be responsible for taking you back," Jiang Zihan said.
He’s such an angel! I can’t make it too obvious... but I can’t just let him go back himself. What if he lost consciousness midway?
Jiang Zihan’s voice rose in his mind again.
Seems like it wasn’t his imagination...
Getting to such a conclusion, Mo Shiyan let out a light smile and gently replied, "Thanks for your help."
However, it had been so long since he had smiled that the expression on his face looked so awkward and unfamiliar.
He reached out, wanting to place his hand over the hand Jiang Zihan extended toward him, but before he was able to do so, Jiang Zihan’s hand instinctively pulled back.
Mo Shiyan: "...?"
Jiang Zihan seemed to know that his reaction seemed strange. He smiled awkwardly and hesitantly extended his hand again. When Mo Shiyan finally rested his hand on his, he could feel Jiang Zihan’s fingers trembling a little.
Then Mo Shiyan heard Jiang Zihan crying in his mind again.
It was pretty... noisy.
Mo Shiyan smiled at me. He looks so handsome when he smiles.
Wait... what the hell am I thinking?!! That’s Mo Shiyan! Every time he smiles, it means that he’s able to kill someone. Why is he smiling at him? Am I his next target?!!
With this thought in mind, his whole body trembled slightly as he walked Mo Shiyan back to his dorm. He thought that he would be free once he got him back safely, but as he followed Mo Shiyan’s directions, he suddenly realized that...
...the two of them lived in the same dorm room.
He quickly searched through the original owner’s memories and noticed that there were really roommates.
He had just transmigrated into this world before meeting his target right after that. He didn’t even have the time to sort through his new memories, so he did not notice at first.
But now knowing the truth, Jiang Zihan froze in place, losing color.
"Jiang Zihan... Jiang Zihan...?"
Hearing Mo Shiyan calling his name, he immediately came back to reality and quickly led him inside the dorm, gently placing him on the chair.
"I... I’ll go take a shower first," he muttered.
I need to calm down first.
His voice echoed in both Mo Shiyan’s ears and mind.
Before Mo Shiyan had the chance to respond, Jiang Zihan had already turned around and walked off.
Jiang Zihan gently closed the door and patted his chest.
Phew... that was so dangerous.
He pressed his hands on the bathroom vanity and looked into the mirror. The face reflecting in the mirror felt so familiar, but unfamiliar at the same time.
"Pull yourself together, Lu Ye! You can’t just die like that in a game," he murmured, trying to cheer himself up.
