Mo Shiyan picked them up and was surprised to find out that they added up to around three thousand Ice Points. He handed them all over to Jiang Zihan and said, "It seems like the captain was a pretty straightforward person; he left us all the Ice Points he had."

"We will get to meet him again when we enter the university," Jiang Zihan nodded in agreement.

Jiang Zihan’s eyes immediately lit up when he saw those cards, and he carefully placed them inside his bag.

Then he froze for a moment before stiffly turning his head toward Mo Shiyan. "Did that person just mention the names ’Mengyao’ and ’Linyuan’? Did he mean Ling Mengyao and Chu Linyuan—the two seniors on the academy rankings?!!"

Hearing this, Mo Shiyan fell silent for a second before lowering his gaze toward the direction the captain had disappeared. He recalled what he saw before and said, "What he had used should be a Teleportation Talisman."

Did he just ignore me?

Mo Shiyan turned his head to the side, coughing lightly.

You’re definitely ignoring me! I saw you smiling!

In Mo Shiyan’s mind, the little "Jiang Zihan’s" cheeks blushed red immediately because of frustration.

Jiang Zihan let out a helpless sigh and shifted his attention toward what Mo Shiyan was talking about. "...A Teleportation Talisman?" he repeated subconsciously.

"A Teleportation Talisman is a very valuable piece of equipment, which allows the user to instantly teleport to a predetermined location once they activate the magical energy inside. However, at the same time, they are extremely difficult to create. The materials are extremely rare, such that their prices are super high," a soft and gentle voice rose from behind.

Jiang Zihan quickly turned around and noticed that it was Shen Qingyi. Noticing that he was staring at her, she instinctively took a few steps backward, feeling a bit scared. However, she did not want to leave her brother to face the danger by himself, so for a moment, she froze in place, caught in a dilemma.

In the end, Shen Qingyi closed her eyes and yelled out. "I... I know where the other senior teams are, and I could tell you everything that I know. But... but you have to let go of me and my brother!!!"

After saying so, she noticed that the atmosphere around suddenly felt a bit awkward. Mo Shiyan and Jiang Zihan exchanged a glance, feeling a bit confused.

Do I look that scary? Jiang Zihan could not help but question himself.

The little "Jiang Zihan" in Mo Shiyan’s mind turned around in circles, thoughtfully. Then he bent down and placed both hands on his head, reflecting on life.

That scene made Mo Shiyan let out a soft chuckle, which caused Shen Qingyi’s body to tremble even harder.

Jiang Zihan: "..."

At last, it was Jiang Zihan who stepped forward and thoughtfully explained everything to her (he knew that Mo Shiyan was definitely not gonna do something like this), including the fact that they were just passing by and didn’t mean to do anything. That allowed her to calm down a little.

"Before you said that you knew where the other upperclassmen teams were... how did you know?" Mo Shiyan suddenly asked.

Shen Qingyi nodded before replying with hesitation. "My brother, Gu Zhao, and I—"

She suddenly stopped when he recalled the fact that her childhood friend had just left her and her brother, running away by himself. Her mouth closed and opened again, not speaking a word.

"...Hello?" Jiang Zihan waved a hand in front of her, bringing her back to reality.

"My apologies... I got lost in my thoughts before. We heard rumors that two freshmen had challenged the upperclassmen and even stolen their Ice Points, so we thought that it might be a good idea if we could blend in with your group and earn some Ice Points too..."

Then she let out a bitter smile. "But it seems like things weren’t going as we thought."

Just at this time, Shen Qingci slowly opened his eyes. He looked around cautiously, his head still feeling a bit dizzy.

"Big brother, you’re finally awake!" Shen Qingyi cried out in delight as she rushed forward and embraced him.

Shen Qingci was still a bit confused about what was happening, but he still caught his little sister subconsciously, gently patting her back. "It’s okay, your brother is here," he said softly, trying to comfort her, although that only made Shen Qingyi cry even louder.

Shen Qingci was stunned for a moment, then smiled helplessly as he held her a little tighter. The next moment, he turned toward Jiang Zihan and Mo Shiyan, staring at them cautiously. Seeing his reaction, Shen Qingyi quickly explained that it was Jiang Zihan and Mo Shiyan who saved them.

The wariness in Shen Qingci’s eyes slowly disappeared. "My sincere thanks to both of you for your help. If there’s anything you need me for in the future, feel free to ask," Shen Qingci promised, looking at them gratefully.

Jiang Zihan quickly waved both hands and replied, "It’s nothing. We are all freshmen, and should be looking out for each other."

Then suddenly, he changed the topic and asked, "We have taken all the cards; are you okay with that?"

Even though we defeated the captain, we’re still supposed to ask if we could take everything, or else I would feel a bit uneasy about it.

Shen Qingci was stunned for a moment, as though he did not think that Jiang Zihan would ask him about this so straightforwardly. "Of course. You were the ones who defeated the senior team, so they belong to you," he replied.

Then he let out a bitter smile and continued, "If both of you haven’t arrived, we might not even have the ability to escape, so I’m very thankful for you."

Seeing his reactions, Jiang Zihan couldn’t control his curiosity and finally asked, "There’s only one self-awakened student in your team. So why did you decide to target a senior team in the first place?"
