Reborn as the Genius Son of the Richest Family

Chapter 1108 Drastic change needed

Chapter 1108  Drastic change needed

Michael definitely celebrated this massive milestone. After all, with the newly advanced Maugnetics, they’d finally be able to advance to advertise their restaurant in the 3rd and 4th stage. His Rebornians wouldn’t be outmatched there.

He had full confidence that they’d be able to break through the crowd like they did in the 2nd circle of the Feast.

But he couldn’t help but think that this wasn’t enough. After all, even if his advertisers were successful in getting more customers… where would they go?

They still had the problem of the queue. Their restaurant could only accommodate a limited number of customers at a single time. Even yesterday, there were still hundreds if not thousands of people still lined up after the Feast ended in the evening.

And they must take into account that that queue never cleared up throughout the day. Meaning that tomorrow, any new customers that they would end up getting would only get stuck in the queue for hours and hours. It was even possible that they would never be able to order McTony’s chicken for the whole day!

This meant that they had a true limit.

Today, they earned almost 400,000 tokens. And if they followed the pattern from previous days, then it wasn’t farfetched to think that they could earn a million tokens on the fourth day.

But that was a false assumption. Because of their location, they had probably reached the limit of their token income.

It was more likely that in the next few days, they would only earn around 400,000 tokens each day up until the last day.

It didn’t matter if McTony’s chicken became more popular throughout the Feast. It didn’t matter if thousands of people lined up in their queue at a single time.

If they couldn’t order fried chicken, then it wouldn’t be counted.

Of course, they could increase their selection even more to earn more tokens from each customer. But that was still going to reach its limit.

If he wanted to reach the top 10 of the Feast, then he needed more. The Conglomerates and the Upper Echelons have been earning tens of millions by now. Unless he could earn twice that from now till the end of the Feast, then he could kiss that goal goodbye.

“It’s not looking good, Young Master,” said Castelle. “In terms of our business, the McTony’s restaurant is booming. Any customer that we don’t serve on the Feast almost always goes to another branch to order chicken there. This has increased our revenue tremendously.

But this had done nothing to increase our chances of winning the Feast. On the contrary, it only draws away from our stall.”

Their dream of owning land in the Upper Echelons was slowly moving away from them.

But Michael wasn’t going to give up that easily.

“We need a massive change in structure,” he said to Castelle. “Let’s go all in on take-out delivery.”

When he said those words, Castelle’s eyes lit up like stars. Immediately, her brain went into overdrive as she thought of the possibilities of such a proposal.

And after a few seconds, she beamed a smile at Michael.

“Brilliant, Young Master! We still have a chance to reach the top 10 with that idea!”

And without any delay, Castelle immediately turned around and started barking orders at the Rebornians.

Michael was quite surprised with how fast Castelle took to the idea. He didn’t even have a plan when he said that, but she already masterminded a new game plan within just a few seconds. She was the brilliant one, not him.

“Take out every single table and chair in our restaurant,” Castelle said to them. “Mister Tony and Remy, we must add more stoves here and there. Each and every single inch of this area must be converted into a kitchen!”

And since it was the CEO barking the orders, the Rebornians immediately started moving according to her wishes.

In just a few minutes, the McTony’s restaurant lost all of its decorations and furniture, becoming a desolate room.

The Rebornian Engineers were teleported soon, and they began their work converting the place into a large, industrial kitchen.

Why? Well because Michael and Castelle both decided that they needed a massive change in their process if they wanted to compete against the Conglomerates and the Upper Echelons.

They were limited by their location. So, why not just remove that entirely?

Now, they were going to become a completely take-out only restaurant.

After seeing Rivet’s influence in delivery orders, Michael saw the potential in such a tactic. If their customers just ordered online, they wouldn’t have to wait for hours in the queue, making customer satisfaction that much better.

With an online order system, they wouldn’t have to serve fifty customers at a time. They could do tens of thousands of orders at the same time and have no problem!

That was why they converted the stall into a full-blown industrial kitchen that could handle that many orders.

Of course, one could think that they were being hasty by doing this. After all, there was one massive, glaring problem in their tactic.

Not everyone had phones.

And without phones, they wouldn’t be able to order online.

Kong and his Engineers were still currently working on designing the phone factory at their fastest pace. They probably won’t start building the factory till tomorrow.

Thankfully, Castelle had a pretty brilliant solution for all of this.

Make ordering kiosks all over New Sparta.

These kiosks would be like an oversized phone whose only purpose was to order from McTony’s fried chicken.

One would only have to input their order into the kiosk and the Rebornian delivery riders would deliver the order anywhere the customer wanted.

Of course, there was the problem of unfamiliarity. The common citizens would have no idea what they were looking at if they faced a kiosk.

Thankfully, he had a few friends that could help with advertising. The Duchess herself personally offered to spread the word herself. And given how much she liked to gossip, Michael knew he wouldn’t have to worry about advertising.
