Reborn as the Genius Son of the Richest Family

Chapter 1020 Maugnetic CEO

Chapter 1020 Maugnetic CEO

Castelle staggered back as the GodForge piece struck her chest, embedding itself onto her heart.

This shocked everyone in the room. Everything happened so fast that Michael and Sheina weren’t even able to react before it happened. The GodForge almost teleported itself to Castelle!

“What… what just happened?” Castelle asked, holding her chest in worry.

Michael looked at her in wonder and awe. “You… absorbed a GodForge.”

Castelle immediately bowed in repentance. “I’m sorry, Young Master! I didn’t intend to steal your GodForge pieces!”

She knew just how important those were to Michael. He was just complaining a few seconds ago about how he didn’t have enough of them to accommodate the rest of the Shadow Orcs!

Mortified, Castelle could only bow her head in shame. A GodForge piece that could have gone to a Shadow Orc was instead wasted on her!

But Michael didn’t seem to think so.

“No, no! You don’t have to be sorry! This is a revelation!” he exclaimed. “Huh?”

He walked over to Castelle, taking a closer look at the tiny sliver of GodForge now covering her heart.

Aubility Power threads now spooled out of her chest, much like any other Maugnetic.

This was an amazing, serendipitous discovery! At first, he thought that only warriors and people with great fighting skill could awaken a Diva. After all, the only example he’d seen this entire time was of people using their Diva to fight. It was very natural to think that only fighters could become a Maugnetic.

But Castelle was the first example he’d seen where fighting ability was not a factor in her becoming a Maugnetic. She had absolutely no fighting skills or any magic abilities related to fighting.

Yet, the GodForge piece still deemed her worthy enough of zooming into her heart.

Even among the Shadow Orcs, there were still some of them who could not attract a GodForge piece despite having a better than average fighting skill. So, Michael could only conclude that physical skill was not the only factor that GodForge pieces considered when choosing someone.

“Miss Castelle, do you feel any different?” Sheina asked.

Castelle looked at herself, before holding her heart with one hand. “I don’t feel that much different… but I do feel something warm in my chest. And my mind… my mind seems clearer than before.”

Then, she turned to Michael. “Young Master… will I be alright?”

“Alright? You’re going to be amazing! I can’t wait to see what kind of Aubility Power you’re going to awaken!”

Michael could only guess that her Aubility Power would somehow be related to her talent and skills.

[Talent: SS-class Business Mogul]

How would a Business Mogul work as a Diva, Michael had no idea. But he was excited for it!

“Is this really something good?” Castelle asked Michael.

“Of course! You’re going to be Maugnetic CEO! You’ll be able to handle the Reborn Company a lot better than before. Once you awaken your Diva, our business won’t lag behind in the realm of Maugnetics!”

Castelle took Michael’s words to heart. And after thinking about it for a few seconds, an expectant and excited smile formed on her face.

She would do anything to progress the Reborn company. And if it meant that she had to be a Maugnetic to do it, then she would gladly handle that responsibility.

And most of all, this was a gift. From the Young Master himself.

What kind of maid would she be if she simply disregarded his good will?

Just then, Michael and Sheina felt a subtle shockwave emanate inside the room. A tangible gust of wind bursted out of Castelle, making Michael and Sheina step back for a bit.

Their eyes widened with shock. Aubility Power threads were weaving itself out of her heart, and into her neck like vines!

The threads continued to go up to her neck, to her jaw, and finally, to her eyes and brain.

Finally, golden lights began to swirl atop her head, slowly forming the vague image of a womanly goddess.

She wore a typical business suit, one that emanated power and authority. Yet, there was a delicate, beautiful, and ethereal side to her that made her look

approachable and unapproachable at the same time.

Castelle finally opened her eyes. Her irises glowed golden, much like the womanly Diva above her.

Then, as if it had done its job, the womanly Diva disappeared.

Castelle’s eyes slowly returned to its normal state, an auburn brown, before

she shook her head and took a deep breath.

“I see it now,” she muttered to herself.

“Castelle?”

“Young Master, it has now only been pointed to me how blind I was before. But

now. I see it.”

“See what?”

Castelle turned to Michael and bowed. “See how the Reborn company can ascend to the top.”

Michael didn’t know what happened to Castelle during her Diva awakening, but it must have been something life changing.

After that awakening, Castelle immediately went to work. She excused herself out of the room and began to work on her ‘plan’, which wasn’t quite clear to anyone besides herself.

He wanted to talk to her and find out what she was going to do, but he stopped

himself.

That look on her face was pure focus and dedication. He had a feeling that if he stopped her now, he would only be doing something detrimental to her own

progress.

Of course, he was still very much worried about Castelle. This was the first time a non-fighter became a Maugnetic, at least for Reborn, so he didn’t know

if there was something different with her cultivation than the others.

So, he shadowed behind her, just seeing what she would do.

And for her first line of business, she unexpectedly went towards the Shadow

Orcs, requesting a meeting with Narito and Sasuki.

This surprised Michael, as he thought she’d be preparing the business side of Reborn, not the underbelly.

“Sir Narito, Sir Sasuki… The Reborn Company needs your help.”

The two Ore Chieftains looked at her and nodded.

“Do you have a need for espionage? For an assassination, perhaps?”

Castelle shook her head. “No. I want you to do construction work.”
