Chapter 555 555: Ch 555- Today’s Concerns, Tomorrow’s Inner Demon
Ruoning never imagined that Yuyan and Yino would actually spend the entire night doing it. She had only woken up during the latter half of the night, but at Yuyan’s invitation, she excitedly rose to join her in the battle to subdue the great demon. In a sense, the unrestrained life Ruoning had seen in her dreams was finally becoming a reality.
The only difference was that this happiness belonged to three people. With Ruoning on the left and Yuyan on the right, the Senior and Junior Sisters worked in tandem. Together, they were more than enough to satisfy the hunger of that massive python, ensuring the monster wouldn’t continue to prey upon other girls.
As it turned out, Ruoning’s mid-battle intervention was effective. Under the united suppression of the two beauties, the monster eventually ejaculated his essence and slumped into a deep sleep.
With the great war concluded, Ruoning and Yuyan were naturally exhausted. They didn’t even have the strength to wash their bodies. Instead, they simply set up a barrier and locked the doors and windows. With Ruoning grabbing the left side of the duvet and Yuyan grabbing the right, they pulled the covers up and slept together in one large bed. None of them had ever slept so soundly.
It wasn’t until the following evening that Yino finally woke from his long period of fatigue. By the time he opened his eyes, Ruoning and Yuyan had been awake for a while. However, they hadn’t left. With a silent understanding, they lay on their pillows pretending to sleep as they quietly enjoyed this rare moment of leisure.
When she saw Yino get out of bed, Yuyan suggested they all go to the bathhouse to wash up. Ruoning remained silent, but with a gentle grip on Yino’s arm, she followed him all the way and sat obediently in the water.
During this time, Yuyan sat cross-legged in the bath to give Ruoning a live demonstration on how to use the body as a furnace to refine the pure yang essence that filled them. Since Ruoning was a heroine, she was able to learn the technique after watching it just once.
By the time Yino finished washing and stepped outside, the two women were still sitting in the bath, focused on their cultivation. Yino took the opportunity to clean up the mess inside the room. This was a guest room on Jinglan peak after all. Although Chaerin knew what was happening and hadn’t stopped them, Yino felt it was better to leave the place tidy. The intensity of the previous night had been quite extreme, and the scent lingering in the room was undeniably thick.
By the time Yino had opened the windows for ventilation and finished cleaning, the two beauties had dried themselves and come out. In such a short time, they obviously couldn’t fully refine the leftovers from the night before. However, Yuyan had already taught Ruoning two sealing techniques.
The first was to seal the exit, the vagina, to prevent the yang essence from leaking out and going to waste. The second was to seal the entrance to the womb, preventing the yang essence from racing around like a headless fly and merging with the corresponding Yin essence in places it shouldn’t go. With both the entrance and exit sealed tight, the Yang essence was entirely theirs. It would be preserved in that warm, moist environment until they had time to refine it later.
This was a technique Yuyan had taught herself. Ruoning was a quick study, though her face still flushed with shyness whenever she closed her eyes to feel the yang essence inside her. She felt as though refining it was like personally ending the lives of billions of tiny beings. Furthermore, even if it was turned into nutrients, this strange method of cultivation made her entire body feel tingly, as if Yino’s scent was now flowing through her very blood. Still, Ruoning didn’t find the feeling unpleasant at all.
Yuyan, on the other hand, had no such worries. With a refreshed spirit, she felt that her blood and energy were flowing much more smoothly after the previous night’s activity.
Afterward, the group went down the mountain for a meal. Yino informed Ruoning of their future itinerary. Having been thoroughly watered the night before, Ruoning was no longer acting temperamental. With a soup spoon in her mouth, she simply told Yino to stay safe on the road.
Once they finished eating, Yino said his final goodbyes to Ye Chaerin and wasted no more time, leading the group away. On the way back to the Wuji Sect, Yino parted ways with Yuebai and Mei.
Yuebai was an Elder of the white fox clan. She had originally been forced by the Celestial Master Iris, to act as a pawn in the Liuli Sect to assist Xumo. Now that Xumo was dead, her identity had been cleared by Changli during the negotiations. Consequently, Yuebai had no reason to keep risking her life for Iris.
Yuebai knew she owed her freedom to Yino. Out of gratitude, she was willing to follow him just like Jinyue. However, before that, she wanted to return to her clan to visit her people, as it had been a long time. Yino didn’t force her to stay. He parted ways with Yuebai mid-journey and returned her soul source pill. Before she left, he checked to see if she was still wearing the new tail he had given her in the Illusion realm. It was clear that Yuebai truly loved it, as she had been inseparable from the gift since that day. Before leaving, Yuebai promised she wasn’t gone for good; once she finished her visit, she would follow the guidance of the spirit mark to find Yino at the dragon palace. Yino smiled and waved goodbye.
Next was Mei’s turn to depart. Her farewell wasn’t as lingering or affectionate as Yuebai’s. The dynamic between her and Yino was more like that of two bickering rivals. Since Yino was now connected to the National Advisor, he wouldn’t be going to the Western Region anytime soon, so he no longer needed to kidnap a holy maiden from evil sects to serve as a bodyguard. Now that she had no more utility, Yino was willing to give Mei her freedom.
Mei didn’t say much before leaving. She only mentioned that she remembered the humiliation of being disciplined by him and that she would eventually return to make Yino taste that same degradation. Yino simply smiled without a word, not bothering to respond.
With several of those high-maintenance ladies gone, the pressure around Yino lessened significantly. Wangxue and Lily were both sweethearts, while Jinyue and Yuyan were old acquaintances. The group chatted comfortably as they traveled. Yino and Yuyan flew on their swords, and it took only a day and a night to cross half the map of the Great Dragon Dynasty to reach the Wuji Sect.
By Yino’s count, he hadn’t been back to the Wuji Sect in half a year. The scenery of Wuji Peak was exactly as he remembered. Towers stood tall among jagged rocks, surrounded by white mist, while immortal boats filled with white-clad cultivators sailed through the sky. Almost the entire Wuji Sect was built upon the continuous Wuji mountain range.
What felt even more familiar to Yino was the sight of the massive, dense queues of people lining the mountain stairs. With a single glance from the air, Yino knew they were here to register for the Wuji Sect’s entrance examinations.
