"Why didn’t you mention there was a bathhouse earlier?" Jiang Xue complained a little. If she had known, she would have used it too, instead of boiling water at home.

"You can’t go to the bathhouse. Since there are few women in the troop, the bathing places are mostly for men."

"Alright, go and shower yourself, I’ll boil water and shower at home." Jiang Xue felt a little disappointed; she wanted a proper shower. Boiling water herself doesn’t offer the same experience, as the amount is limited and has to be used sparingly.

Seeing Jiang Xue’s slight disappointment, Mu Qiancheng stood up, kissed her forehead, and said, "Xue’er, if you really want to go, I can wait outside for you."
