With Sister-in-law Wang bringing them, there’s no need to go out and buy.

Due to the lack of ingredients, Jiang Xue prepared a simple meal. After they ate, Huo Cong drove back to the city.

And Jiang Xue sat and chatted with Mu Qiancheng. Mu Qiancheng informed Jiang Xue that if she had any questions, she could ask Sister-in-law Wang next door.

He also told her that Sister-in-law Wang is a really nice person. Jiang Xue noted this down, and in the afternoon, Mu Qiancheng went directly to work.

After Mu Qiancheng left, Jiang Xue took a nap for an hour, then took her child out. Since she planned to stay here for a while, she wanted to learn more about the area. So, she knocked on Sister-in-law Wang’s door next door.

Sister-in-law Wang opened the door and was somewhat surprised to see Jiang Xue. She asked, "Is there something you need, Sister-in-law Jiang?"

Jiang Xue realized Sister-in-law Wang was older than her but was calling her "Sister-in-law," which felt a bit awkward. She said to her, "Please just call me Jiang Xue next time. I’m wondering if you have some time; I need to ask you some questions."

"Oh, okay, come in then!" Sister-in-law Wang replied with a smile, then stepped aside to let Jiang Xue enter.

Jiang Xue carried Little Reunion into Sister-in-law Wang’s house. Their layouts were the same as Mu Qiancheng’s house, and everything was tidily arranged and cleaned, clearly showing Sister-in-law Wang was diligent.

Upon entering, Jiang Xue placed the pastries she was carrying on Sister-in-law Wang’s coffee table, then smiled and said, "Sister-in-law, you know I just arrived and I’m not familiar with the area. Everything else is fine, but buying groceries and cooking every day, I have no idea where to go."

Sister-in-law Wang laughed at this and said, "That’s not a big deal. I’ll take you around later. But you’ll have to wait a bit; my child is still napping and hasn’t woken up yet."

"Alright, I’ll trouble you later then." Jiang Xue said with a smile and thanked her, then took Little Reunion back home to wait.

It didn’t take long before there was a knock on the door. Upon opening it, sure enough, it was Sister-in-law Wang, and she also had a girl with her—her daughter Wang Ke.
