Chapter 1846: Chapter 1826:

Mo paused for a moment, but then clapped his hands and nodded, "You’re right."

He Wenyu: "???" Are you really that conniving in business? How can you agree on something like this so easily?

As He Wenyu stopped his actions, Luo Qianqian wore an innocent expression: "If it’s a gift, of course, it should be something good. But since they’re just going to drink casually, there’s no need to take it too seriously. Otherwise, if they get used to high-standard gifts, won’t they look down on the ordinary ones? It’s important to be progressive."

"I just know you once tricked Yan like this." He Wenyu mumbled softly, though he still began cutting vegetables without much care, considering that Luo Qianqian was more important than any outsider.

Mo then took out a pile of Small Jade Bottles meant for holding elixirs. Luo Qianqian and He Wenyu were directly bewildered; they feared each bottle might hold only a mouthful. Are you serious?

"You might as well use a small clay pot, like this." Luo Qianqian quickly took out a small clay pot, although... it contained dried fruit.

Mo looked at it for a couple of seconds and nodded in realization, "But you don’t have enough of them here, right?"

Luo Qianqian hurriedly nodded, that was for sure; how could he have that many? Plus, he didn’t know how many people there were, right?

"How many do you need?" He Wenyu couldn’t help but ask.

"About over a hundred people." Mo smiled wryly. If not for this, why would he be so troubled?

"That’s simple. Just send ten large barrels, use wooden barrels to contain it. They’re drinking it, not collecting it," He Wenyu suggested matter-of-factly. "Seeing the large quantity feels generous; let them divide it themselves. It’s not favoritism, is it?"

"Yeah, for the main people, just use small bottles for the good stuff," Luo Qianqian agreed.

Mo looked at the two, remained silent for a moment, then nodded. After all, he’s not as skilled in the art of gift-giving, right?

Luo Qianqian looked at He Wenyu, "Do you still have that Red Ribbon from last time?"

"Yes, I’ll give it to you later. I need to cook first, or Di Jun will faint from hunger."

After seeing off the last dinner guest, the last pot simmered slowly, kept for the old man when he returns, while He Wenyu, Luo Qianqian, and Mo were already busy with a big project in the yard...

Various crafting.

They chopped down trees to get wood, assembled it all together, and managed to make leak-free wooden barrels after quite some trouble. By the time all was done, it was already completely dark, and they still had to make nine more.

When the old man returned, he was confused by the wood shavings all over the yard. What was going on again? But seeing the three’s busy state, he eventually stayed silent. When they finished, the three gave him a glance in unison and each returned to their rooms, leaving no explanation...

The old man ate his food, feeling somewhat irritated.

However, the next day, Mo explained the situation.

After hearing the explanation, the old man frowned deeply, "Goblin? Are you serious?"

The Goblin Clan is renowned for their weapon-making skills, but they’re also highly exclusive, prone to war over disagreement, yet one must admit they are the best weapon makers currently in existence.

Though the academy and the Goblin Clan have some interaction, they haven’t visited before, have they...

"Sort of," Mo said as he gathered the filled wooden barrels, stored them, and smiled, "Whether it works or not is another matter. If not, we’ll find someone else. But I doubt there’s a better weapon maker in the world than them."

"Are you taking Shiqi with you?" Seeing Luo Qianqian already dressed to the nines, the old man grimaced.

"No." Mo shook his head, speaking naturally, "I’m taking Shiliu and Shiqi."

"Mo! What about my meal!" Hearing this, the old man’s disbelief turned to anger and eventually to despair. His biggest comfort was his daily gourmet meals! How can they treat him like this?!

"Don’t worry." He Wenyu calmly stepped forward, pointing to the kitchen, "Cook it yourself; we’ve been busy all morning."

Upon hearing this, the old man went into the kitchen, where he found piles of dumplings and... noodles.

"How can you treat me like this?"

Yet, no one was left to hear his complaints, for Mo had already snuck away with the two.

Mo was off for serious business, while Luo Qianqian and He Wenyu were off to... gain insight.

But one must admit, with He Wenyu’s exceptional culinary skills, perhaps he could double their efficiency.

Leading the two towards one of the academy’s Forbidden Lands.

This place is considered forbidden not only for its treacherous terrain and various dangers but primarily because it’s the Goblin’s living area. Being careless and deemed an intruder would ignite war instantly.

This is no laughing matter.

Meanwhile, Luo Qianqian and He Wenyu couldn’t help but survey the surroundings; it seemed ordinary enough but also somehow strange, as if danger lurked everywhere, yet it appeared perfectly mundane.

Just as Luo Qianqian was about to pick the flowers by the roadside, Mo stopped her.

"These things, though they look natural, any careless touch can activate weapon traps, leaving one defenseless."

Even if he’s been here twice, he still doesn’t dare to touch anything lightly.

Hearing this, Luo Qianqian and He Wenyu retracted their hands, faces filled with tension, fearing something might happen.

After a while, He Wenyu’s gaze landed on Mo holding Luo Qianqian’s hand tightly, couldn’t help but laugh sneakily.

Just then, Mo stopped, shielding the two behind him, and said loudly, "Elder Huozi, are you there? I’m Mo from the academy, seeking a request, bearing gifts."

The words had just faded, and there was no sound around, causing Luo Qianqian to wonder if they were in the wrong place, as this seemed like an ordinary cave, didn’t it? There were similar caves encountered on the way.

He Wenyu nervously clutched Luo Qianqian’s sleeve, holding the sword tightly, full of anxiety.

"Swish"

A sound of wind-breaking came towards He Wenyu’s side, and Luo Qianqian couldn’t bother with other matters, immediately using Qi Condense Arrow, Little Black Bow appearing instantaneously in her hand, shooting the arrow.

"Boom"

After a collision sound, the arrow fell to the ground, and shockingly, it had pierced a fruit, leaving Luo Qianqian astonished.

"Nice archery."

A raspy voice came from the trees behind, making all three turn to look.
