RE: LORD OF TIME
Chapter 245: Bloodline Fusion (Part 1)
Somewhere inside the Trial Realm, a cylindrical black pillar stood tall, reaching all the way to the sky of the Trial Realm.
Atop the pillar, which seemed to pierce the very sky, a gigantic creature lay silently, its enormous body resembling a vast mountain range.
The creature was covered in silver scales, with triangular spikes protruding from its back like towering mountains. Its face resembled that of a crocodile, and two enormous wings were folded against the sides of its back.
Suddenly, the sleeping giant seemed to sense something, and its two enormous eyes, which looked like blazing suns abruptly opened.
The creature raised its head from the rounded surface of the pillar and looked into the distance, its deep yellow eyes glowing faintly.
"Is this... the Aura of Chaos?"
A low voice that resonated for tens of kilometers echoed from the creature’s mouth, and its enormous eyes trembled slightly.
Faint silver ripples flashed across its eyes, and as if its vision were zooming in, its gaze pierced through the very fabric of the Trial Realm and reached toward the location from which it could sense the Aura of Chaos.
However, just before it could see the source of the Aura of Chaos, its vision came to a halt, as though it had encountered some kind of natural barrier.
The giant creature was stunned, and a look of surprise appeared in its eyes.
"Is there still something in this place that can stop me?" The creature muttered in a low voice as the silver ripples in its eyes intensified.
However, no matter how hard it tried, the creature’s vision failed to advance even an inch, stopping just before reaching the source of the Aura of Chaos.
Just as the creature was beginning to feel confused, it seemed to sense something and stopped.
Its entire body trembled for a moment, stirring up powerful gusts of wind that swept in every direction like a raging storm.
"So that’s how it is..." The creature muttered, abandoning its attempt to look into the distance. "You have already chosen someone, huh?"
The creature raised its head and looked at the endless, gloomy sky above it before sighing.
"I don’t have much time left either. I wonder if the person you have chosen will be able to help us."
Just as it was gazing at the sky, the creature’s body shook slightly, and a pained expression appeared on its face.
Faint black stains appeared across the surface of its silver scales.
However, the black stains lasted only a few seconds before disappearing, and its scales returned to their normal silver color.
Taking a deep breath, the creature sighed once again and lay down on the pillar, closing its eyes.
As soon as it closed its eyes, the pillar beneath it glowed momentarily, and a surge of power erupted from the creature’s body, only to be absorbed by the pillar.

As soon as the Vermilion Flame finished its evolution, William felt the blood in his body begin to boil, and the next second—
BOOOOOOM!
A pillar of grayish-brown aura filled with the power of Chaos erupted from his body, shooting straight into the sky.
William felt the Chaos Bloodline within his body churning violently, and even his green eyes turned a ghostly grayish-brown for a moment.
The power of Chaos ran rampant within his body, and as he sensed this power, William felt as though he had grasped something.
However, the sensation was extremely vague, and the moment he tried to think about it, it slipped from his mind as though something had erased it.
Eve and Number One were completely stunned when they saw the strange pillar of Chaos Power shooting straight into the sky and they stood rooted to the spot, their mouths slightly open and their eyes filled with awe.
Neither of them knew what was happening, but they could somehow feel that everything unfolding before them was extraordinary.
Eve stared at the grayish-brown pillar of Chaos, and within it, she seemed to see new worlds being born every second, only for many of them to be destroyed almost immediately afterward.
She even noticed some of the food William had given her to eat.
It was as though the power of Chaos contained everything within it.
Just as she was staring at the pillar, she abruptly turned her head, and her silver eyes rippled slightly, as though some kind of power were awakening within them.
She stared to the side for a few seconds before her eyes returned to normal, and a look of confusion flashed across her face, as though she had no idea what she had just done.
Scratching the back of her head, she stopped thinking about it and looked at William, who was standing inside the pillar of Chaos, her eyes filled with worry.
She glanced at Number One and pouted when she saw that it was still standing in front of her, preventing her from going to her Dadda.
The power of Chaos ran rampant within William’s body for almost five minutes before it gradually began to calm down.
The pillar of pure Chaos Aura erupting from his body disappeared, but William kept his eyes closed, savoring the sensation of the power of Chaos coursing through his body.
The faint sensation of Chaos Power he had felt earlier remained etched into his very being.
Although he couldn’t accurately grasp that sensation despite possessing the Ancient Grade Trait, True Wisdom, he still felt as though he had touched upon a higher level of power.
His current level was too low to comprehend the essence of this power accurately. However, he had a feeling that as long as he continued to grow stronger, he would one day be able to control this power as he desired.
Taking a deep breath, William finally stopped focusing on the sensation of Chaos Power and slowly opened his eyes.
And as soon as he opened them, two notifications flashed before him.
(Your Chaos Bloodline has advanced to the second level.)
(You have awakened Bloodline Ability—Bloodline Fusion.)
