RE: LORD OF TIME

Chapter 189: Class Adjustment

Edrin looked at the unconscious Zion with a dull look on his face, his heart still filled with shock.

’Damn it, how is this guy also so strong?’ He shouted inwardly, feeling intense anger because nothing was going according to what he had expected.

He looked at Liam in the ring and clenched his fist, wondering if he should go onto the ring to take care of him.

But upon remembering that Blood Lightning, he felt uneasy inside.

Even though he did not face it head-on, that lightning gave even him a sense of danger.

As such, if he decided to fight Liam recklessly and something unexpected happened, things would really turn ugly for him.

’No rush...’ He took a deep breath, and his eyes flashed with cold light. ’I will first take care of that bastard William before thinking about this guy.’

Edrin glanced at William from the corner of his eyes and rubbed his storage ring.

On the other side, Norman quickly walked over to Zion and, after checking his condition, confirmed that he wasn’t seriously injured.

’Liam only used his physical strength along with the momentum of his movement battle art. If he had attacked him directly using that red lightning, the Intent of Destruction would have definitely injured this guy seriously.’ Norman thought before tossing a pill into Zion’s mouth and standing up.

The reason he had invited two people to spar was so that they could show their abilities, and once the spar ended, he would guide them on what they did wrong during the battle and point out their weaknesses.

But this spar ended way too quickly.

Zion wasn’t even able to make a move before he was blasted outside of the ring.

This revealed another problem that Norman had not considered before.

’Many of the students don’t even have a single battle art.’

Unlike noble students, most of the commoners had not learned any battle arts yet, as they did not have enough Academic Credits to purchase one.

Even if he called those students into the ring for battle, other than giving them some basic instructions about how to approach a battle, he wouldn’t be able to teach them anything else, as they didn’t have any battle arts or skills that he could guide them with.

’What a stupid way to conduct a combat class...’ Norman shook his head inwardly before deciding to deal with the basic problems first.

"Alright, everyone!" He walked back to the ring and clapped his hands to attract the students’ attention.

The noisy training ground immediately fell silent, and everyone looked at Norman.

Norman’s gaze swept through all the students before he spoke.

"Those who haven’t learned any battle arts or skills, raise their hand."

The expressions of many commoner students changed upon hearing Norman, and one after another, about half of the commoners rasied their hands.

Seeing this, although he had expected it, Norman couldn’t help but sigh.

He snapped his fingers, and the next second, a clone identical to him split from his body and appeared beside him.

"All of you move to the side..." Norman spoke as he pointed at his clone. "It will teach you all two basic battle arts. One attack-type and one movement-type. For the next few combat classes, you will learn these battle arts before actually taking part in real combat."

All the students, including the noble ones, were stunned when they saw Norman creating his clone.

But soon, they sensed the aura of the clone and found that it was only at the Star Warrior Realm.

Although surprised that he could create a clone, the shock they felt greatly diminished after knowing its strength was far lower than Norman’s actual level.

On the other hand, the eyes of all the students who did not have any battle arts lit up when they heard Norman was teaching them two battle arts, and all of them immediately thanked him.

Norman rolled his eyes at their thanks and just waved his hand, telling them to move to the side and not disturb the other students.

Although it wasn’t required for him to teach students battle arts, since he was acting as a professor, he felt he might as well see it through to the end.

William smiled slightly when he saw this, as this scene was very familiar to him.

In the original timeline, the first battle art he had learned was also from Professor Norman.

Unlike other professors, who only guided students in the battle arts they had already learned, Norman was different.

If students did not have battle arts, he would teach them some basic battle arts on his own instead of waiting for them to get their hands on something and guiding them after that.

Over fifty students followed Norman’s clone and went to the side of the training ground.

Once there, the clone began to teach them two basic battle arts. One was an attack-type battle art, while the other was a movement-type battle art.

Norman did not immediately call other students into the battle ring to continue the class, as he realized his previous method was not suitable for the students.

The method he had planned to teach in the class was similar to how he trained soldiers when he was a royal guard.

But the problem was that, unlike those soldiers, most of the students here had no combat experience.

If he were to call them into the battle ring without considering their level, it would just be a waste of time.

Just like the battle between Liam and Zion.

Because there was a huge difference between their combat power, the battle ended so quickly that neither of them was able to learn anything.

Norman thought for a moment before figuring out what he needed to do.

He looked at the approximately one hundred and fifty students before him and asked.

"Who among you has already entered an Astral Rift and has fighting experience?"

Hearing the question, many students raised their hands, including William, Noah, Kevin, Edrin, and many others.

Norman separated these students from the ones who had no fighting experience, as he didn’t want them to spar against each other.

If these inexperienced students fought against them, the result would be similar to the fight between Liam and Zion.

After that, he paired the inexperienced students with each other, keeping their levels as close to each other as possible, and arranged for them to fight in the battle rings.

There were over ten battle rings in the training area, and with Norman’s power, it was easy for him to monitor all of them at the same time.

As the students began to spar, Norman looked at William, Noah, and the other students and began arranging their battle partners.

Edrin’s expression couldn’t help but change slightly when he saw this because he noticed that the opponent Norman had arranged for him wasn’t William.

"Professor," He hurriedly stepped forward and spoke to Norman. "Professor, can I spar against William?"
