Chapter 175: Ruinborn Vampire (Part 1)

William and Vivian stared at Liam with dumbfounded looks, their eyes wide open.

"Oy Vivian, is this logical?"

Vivian did not answer William’s question, her mouth twitching slightly.

After a moment, she spoke in a hesitant voice.

"Maybe it’s because of his thoughts and imagination that he became like this. Remember what he was saying about vampires before."

"Imagination..." William’s mouth twitched as he stared at Liam’s ghost-like state.

Currently, the lower half of Liam’s body had turned similar to that of a giant bat, while his upper body was still the same.

Two wings had grown on his back, but unlike his black wings, they were crimson red in color, and his hands had turned into sharp claws.

’The task I received... It wasn’t because I turned him into such a state that he wanted to kill me after waking up, right?’

Seeing William sweating, Vivian patted his shoulder and spoke calmly.

"Don’t overreact. He is in this state because he couldn’t control his Shapeshifting Ability properly. He is subconsciously using it right now, turning himself into such a strange appearance."

Hearing Vivian’s words, William paused and finally remembered that he could also change himself into bats, and even his wings were an application of his Shapeshifting Ability.

"Damn it, I nearly got a heart attack right there..." William wiped the sweat from his forehead and sighed in relief.

"He should be able to return to normal after waking up, right?"

"Hmmm..." Vivian nodded. "It’s very easy to master Shapeshifting Ability. He should be able to control it after a bit of practice."

"That’s good." William nodded and stared at Liam.

Now that he wasn’t worried about turning his friend into an unrecognizable monster, he finally paid attention to the strange feeling coming from his Chaos Bloodline.

’What is this?’ He tried to sense what was going on with his bloodline, and all he could feel was that his bloodline was pointing at Liam, like it had something it wanted.

As he tried to sense it more clearly, William soon realized that it wasn’t his Chaos Bloodline that was being attracted to Liam, but his assimilated Vampire Bloodline.

"What’s wrong?" Vivian noticed his unnatural expression and asked in confusion.

"He has already awakened Vampire Bloodline, right?"

Vivian nodded at his question.

"The ritual was successful. He is still unconscious because of the mind suggestion about deep sleep I had given him earlier."

She looked at him and asked. "Should I wake him up?"

William thought for a moment before shaking his head.

"Wait a minute," He said and walked over to Liam.

Using his Shapeshifting Ability, he turned his hand into a sharp claw and made a cut on Liam’s arm.

Vivian was confused when she saw this but didn’t ask anything.

As blood flowed out of the cut, William used Blood Manipulation to control Liam’s blood. At the same time, the yearning coming from his bloodline became even stronger.

’So my bloodline is feeling restless because of Liam’s blood...’ William’s eyes narrowed slightly as he stared at the small blob of blood floating before him.

He looked back at Liam’s arm and saw that the cut he had made had already healed.

"His other abilities are still unknown, but he at least got Shapeshifting and Super Regeneration," Vivian said as she came forward, looking at the healed wound.

She then looked at the blob of Liam’s blood floating before William and asked curiously.

"What are you going to do with it?"

William didn’t answer her question, and after thinking for a moment, he swallowed the blob of blood.

Vivian was stunned when she saw this, and her eyes widened.

"You..." She looked at him with a displeased expression. "When I told you to drink my blood earlier, you refused, saying that you weren’t into drinking blood. But now you are drinking someone else’s blood. Tell me honestly, are you into men?"

William almost choked on the blood he had drunk and looked at Vivian with a speechless expression.

"You are really..." He didn’t know what to say to her and shook his head.

"I am drinking his blood because my Vampire Bloodline is craving his blood for some reason," He muttered under explained and sensed the changes in his bloodline after drinking some of Liam’s blood.

"Your Vampire Bloodline is craving his blood..." Vivian was stunned upon hearing him.

As Liam’s blood entered his body, William immediately felt his Chaos Bloodline activate, assimilating Liam’s blood with his own.

It wasn’t assimilating a new bloodline. Instead, it assimilated Liam’s blood with his Origin Grade Vampire Bloodline.

In just a few seconds, Liam’s blood was assimilated with his Vampire Bloodline, and William felt his bloodline becoming slightly more perfect.

Because he had drunk only a small amount of Liam’s blood, there wasn’t any significant change, but he could feel his Vampire Bloodline becoming a bit more perfect.

"Any change..." Vivian asked when she saw him standing silently.

William took a deep breath and nodded. "I don’t know why, but my Vampire Bloodline is becoming more perfect as I drink his blood."

"Your Bloodline is becoming more perfect?" Vivian frowned at his words. "Isn’t your Vampire Bloodline already Origin Grade? What do you mean by it becoming more perfect?"

William shook his head, as he couldn’t put this feeling into words. But he knew what he needed to do next.

’Since he has Super Regeneration, it doesn’t matter if I take some of his blood, right?’ William muttered to himself and made another cut on Liam’s arm, drawing out more of his blood using Blood Manipulation.

Vivian remained silent when she saw this. Though inwardly, she was feeling jealous that he was drinking someone else’s blood.

While drinking Liam’s blood, William paid attention to see if his Super Regeneration was working properly and noticed that although his blood was regenerating, it was consuming a lot of Liam’s energy.

William gave Vivian a look, and she immediately understood what he wanted to say.

She took out a potion from her storage ring and made Liam drink it.

With the help of the potion, his Super Regeneration was finally able to keep up with the consumption.

Around two minutes later, William stopped as he felt this amount of blood was enough.

Inside his body, his Chaos Bloodline worked rapidly and assimilated this blood with his Vampire Bloodline.

William sensed it and noticed that it would take only a few minutes for the assimilation to be complete.

Knowing there were still a few minutes left, he looked at Vivian and nodded.

"Wake him up. Let’s see what kind of power he got from Apex Grade Bloodline."
