William stared at the question marks displayed on his Status Window and narrowed his eyes.

Remembering Eva’s words about some people being able to sense it when their names were spoken, he could guess why there was no name displayed on his Status Window.

’This Tear belongs to someone from the Abyss Realm...’ Just as William was lost in thought, Eva’s voice echoed inside his mind.

William was surprised and quickly asked.

’Do you know whose tear this is?’

’No...’ Eva answered. ’There is a lingering aura of an Abyssal Being within this tear. So although I can tell that it came from someone from the Abyss Realm, I don’t know their specific identity.’

’Abyss, huh...’

William thought about what Simon had just told him and what he intended to do with this Tear of God and frowned slightly.

What made him even more speechless was the identity of this seemingly broken-minded guy.

He was actually the Saint Son of the Blood God Cult.

It was precisely because of this identity that he had been able to come into contact with the Blood Ancestor when his Will had descended into a statue a few years ago.

"What about the remaining ten elders?"

"Holy Maiden..." William raised an eyebrow. "Is she stronger than you?"

Simon shook his head.

"I don’t know. I have never met her. In fact, other than those old farts, not many people have seen her since she disappeared a long time ago."

William rubbed his chin and began to think about how to proceed.

’Judging by his words, it looks like this guy is just a replacement for that so-called Holy Maiden and might even be thrown aside once she returns...’

Simon’s eyes widened, and he immediately pressed his face against the ground.

Although William’s expression remained calm, he himself couldn’t help but feel secondhand embarrassment upon seeing such a scene.

Even though he really wanted to send this guy away as soon as possible, he suppressed the urge and spoke seriously.

"To reward you generously, I need to prepare a few things. Meet me in the City of Vance after one month."

"Yes, My Lord." Simon did not even ask what reward he was getting and immediately nodded.

William looked at the prostrating Simon and thought for a moment.

’I should be able to perform that ritual after becoming a Star Commander.’

Turning his head, he looked toward the center of the bandit hideout, where he knew the Rift was located.

Thinking about the task that Simon had come here to accomplish, he couldn’t help but feel a headache coming on.

’And here I was thinking that I would be able to keep this Rift for myself without any problems...’

He sighed inwardly before shaking his head.

’Forget it. I will deal with this Rift and the Tear of God after taking care of the other matters.’

Thinking of this, William’s eyes turned sharp as he looked behind a certain cliff.

"Simon, bring that rat here."
