Re-Birth of a Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2512: Reality Check

Chapter 2512: Reality Check

Ivar wasn’t the only one with trouble.

A couple of miles away from Ivar’s location, Icarus was having the fight of his life time. And he had to take more damage than Ivar. Since he had no weapon, he tried to use ranged attacks, but they didn’t work.

This creature was faster than him at his fastest.

It easily dodged and closed the distance. That brought them into a slug fest.

Icarus stood with his back against a mountain cliff. The land croc just charged at him continusly trying to break his body open, while he met it with his own punches. The glowing hits soon made some damage enough to open its jaw and soon, some cracks on the skull and made it bleed from the eyes, nose and the mouth.

It look a lot out of him to just finish that.

Same with Miko, by the time she was done with the fight, her sword had several chinks, and the creature was a mangled mess.

Its stomach had several cuts, all over the place. Same with the tail and the neck. None of them were clean decisive cuts.

"Sam is gonna throw a temper tantrum. That’s for sure."

She muttered to herself and stored the dead body of the creature away.

The other mangers were not better off and everyone was actually nervous about what Sam might say...

And a couple of hours later... Inside the cave they built for themselves...

Sam looked through the storage devices carefully and then looked at the managers.

"I thought Ivar would be bad... Icarus and Miko beat you to it. The rest are not that better off..."

Most corpses were pretty beat up. Most of them had a few bones destroyed, the guts and everything mangled up, some had some of their internal parts burned up or damaged... he could guess how the battles went.

But he didn’t have to, because had surveillance over them.

"So, how were your battle experiences?"

They stayed silent. In fact, even though they didn’t say it out loud, they all thought, they would have this in the bag. They were strongest among their peers in the same level.

They were no Sam level geniuses, but they were just as good as players during their time. Even with the new beasts, they thought it could be done without much effort.

But the moment they entered the field... they knew what kind of stuff they were against.

"This is a reality check." Icarus answered for all of them.

"Good. I knew you would say that.

So, I will tell you what your real first phase of training is. As you all know, these creatures are limited in this area. And of course, they are not obviously rare or endangered, so our goal is to kill them all.

Or rather, its your goal to kill them all.

And you keep on killing them, until you kill them with minimal damage.

One of the things I noticed with the combat practices in general in the academy realm is that the stronger you go, the more it becomes about the power output. You guys forget your fundamentals...

All of you actually had enough strength to take these things down. But your power is too scattered and your force was too diluted.

From now on, you should concentrate the attacks more. And kill these things without damaging their bodies.

While you do that, I will prepare these things for your new diet.

Be prepared.

They are not going to be too easy on the palate."

He sent them back out and went back to the friends.

The new energy suits were still injecting the Divine Inheritance energy into their bodies.

They were all in writhing pain. They were biting their pain down. Their teeth were getting ground to dust, and their gums were bleeding overly.

They still couldn’t get used to it.

Sam checked the data on how the progress was going.

With this process, he was basically forcing their cores to expand and absorb the divine energy from the inheritances as fast as possible. And to make that process easier, he was transferring the energy through all networks their bodies that can transfer the energy.

Basically, by doing this, in a painful way, Sam is making their body get used to this foreign energy beforehand and the core had no choice but to accept it. And once it does and gets full, by instinctual response it had to increase in size.

It was pretty similar to regular cultivation, but the whole process that Sam was just doing in a short time, would be done in parts, over a long long time.

And of course, there are drawbacks to this method.

Since they are getting massive power boosts in an instant, they would have to get used to the increase in the strength.

"You guys should be ready to first stabilizing exercise by tomorrow. See through it."

He knew they could hear it, but there was no response.

After that, he went into his divine dimension where his beasts were...

It had been a long time since they interacted and they were itching to go out.

"Just wait for a little bit guys... Once the managers clear this and the land crocs are gone, we will start our own training and you would be free for a long long time.

Until then, we got some new food."

Sam took out the dead bodies of the land crocs the managers hunted.

With his strength, even dead, he couldn’t really deal with them easily.

He had to use his manipulation techniques on cellular level to deal with them. It is obviously a tough job, but in a way it’s a tough training for him as well...

He carefully removed the flesh off of the bones and kept the skeleton intact. Even the skeletons that were broken, he gave them some temporary fixes for now.

After that, he used some of the attacks he collected in the hub, mostly fire element ones and formations to start cooking the flesh.

For him and his beasts... they all got one small bowl each, which would already be too much. The rest was all cooked and prepped for the managers...

While the rest of the materials were taken in for experiment.
