Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap
Chapter 1668 Working Hard to Find That Fated One
Thomas Fisher didn’t give Alice Turner a chance to talk, continuing until she fell asleep. Only then did he cease fire, snuggling up to her and joining her in a sweet dreamland.
The next morning, when she woke up, Alice Turner had forgotten all about the beauty issue. She got up, washed up, and went downstairs with Thomas Fisher to have breakfast. The lovely couple left home together for work.
“See you tonight!”
“See you tonight!”
Alice Turner leaned in to give Thomas Fisher a kiss before turning to open the car door and getting out.
Seeing that his wife was trained to be so proactive, a colorful firework ignited in Thomas Fisher’s heart. Lowering the car window, he waved at his wife who had just gotten out of the car, “Honey! Remember to miss me.”
“Get lost quickly, or I’ll hit you.”
Alice Turner turned back, suddenly changing her tone and threatening the man in the car.
Thomas Fisher found her amusing and his lips curled up, “I’m very willing to be hit by you.”
“Remember this beating. I’ll give it to you when we get home tonight. Don’t come crying to me, begging for mercy.” Alice Turner shot a glare at the shameless man, lowered her arm pointing at him, and turned to walk into the building, showing a joyful smile on her face as she turned.
Thomas Fisher didn’t say anything, nor did he leave immediately. He watched Alice Turner walk into the building before turning his car toward his own company.
“Sis! Smiling so broadly, did you and brother-in-law just show affection again?” At the elevator entrance, Alice Turner ran into Anthony who was waiting for the elevator. Seeing her cheerful smile, he couldn’t help but tease.
Alice Turner put away her smile and glanced at Anthony, “What? Got a problem?”
“No problem, just can’t stand you and brother-in-law torturing us single dogs.” They were either showing affection or spreading dog food, leaving the single dogs in the company utterly tortured.
Anthony got along closest with Alice Turner, who fed him the most dog food, making him the most tormented one.
Alice Turner felt no sympathy or pity for him, only rolling her eyes, “Knowing you’re tormented, why not quickly find someone.”
After saying this, she suddenly realized that her words might have touched a sore spot for him, and hurriedly replaced her rolled eyes with an apologetic look.
“I’m working hard to find that fated person.”
While considering how to take back her words, Anthony suddenly spoke. His words set her heart at ease.
“You’ll surely find that fated person.”
Alice Turner’s expression was serious, with no hint of joking or teasing. If no one were around, she would have grasped his hand and cheered him on.
“I think so too.”
Anthony was much more optimistic and strong than Alice Turner thought. Having known him for years, she’d never seen him blame anyone. He respected his parents so much and never resented his father for this matter.
Alice Turner wanted to help Anthony find that fated person, but she didn’t know where to start. She was genuinely conflicted about it.
“Sis! Did you see the photo I sent you last night?” While Alice Turner was privately conflicted, Anthony leaned over to inquire about the photo from last night.
Hearing him mention the photo from last night, Alice Turner instantly recalled what happened last night, shamefully and angrily letting out a sigh, “I saw it. Are you really planning to do that? I fear that person might accuse you of meddling.”
Thinking of Anthony playing matchmaker for Benjamin Shaw and Caroline Gower made Alice Turner a bit worried. That man’s thoughts were quite deep.
