Thomas Fisher didn’t take Alice Turner back to the villa with Cedric Fisher and Autumn York, but instead went to the apartment they had lived in together five years ago. Everything there was exactly the same as five years ago; he hadn’t moved a thing.

As soon as they stepped through the door, Thomas couldn’t wait and pinned Alice against the back of it. Before she could react, he lowered his head and kissed her.

Alice didn’t make a big show of struggling to push him away, nor did she act shy and coy. She cooperated with him generously, letting him pull her into that blazing, passionate whirlpool of lovemaking.

Even though Thomas didn’t have some hang‑up about virgins, he still got excited for a moment, and his movements afterward became a lot gentler.

After a night of indulgence, Alice fell into a heavy sleep, but Thomas was so worked up he didn’t feel the slightest bit sleepy. His arm tightened, pulling the woman in his arms closer against him.

He lowered his head and looked at the woman in his arms, and no matter how long he stared, he never got tired of it.

Alice slept as long as she slept, and Thomas watched her for just as long, never changing his position. He simply held one pose like that the whole time.

“You… mm…”

When Alice opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was Thomas’s handsome face magnified in front of her. She parted her lips, wanting to ask him something, but his warm, soft lips pressed down, swallowing the words before she could say them.

This kiss didn’t last very long. He reluctantly let her go.

“Hungry? I’ll call and order takeout. What do you feel like eating?” If he weren’t worried about her going hungry, he would’ve pounced on her again right away.

“What time is it now?”

Alice figured it definitely wouldn’t be early. She reached out to feel around for her phone, but as soon as she stretched out her hand, Thomas picked his watch up from the nightstand and placed it in her palm.

She took it and glanced at the time. The moment she saw the numbers on the dial, she shot upright in bed.

“Sss!”

As she sat up, Alice tugged at a certain sensitive place, and the discomfort made her suck in a sharp breath.

He was basically not human, a total beast.

Cursing him in her heart, she turned her head and started bossing him around. “Bring me my clothes.”

It was already past noon, after twelve. She had to hurry up and get to the office. After wasting an entire morning, Jacob was definitely going to make fun of her.

“I already called Anthony and told him you’re not going to the company today.” In fact, Thomas had called Anthony yesterday, telling him she wasn’t going to the office for the next couple of days.

Anthony didn’t ask much, just replied: “Sis and brother‑in‑law, enjoy your honeymoon. I’ll handle everything at the company.”

Thomas let out a wail. He wanted to take his wife on a nice, proper honeymoon too, but his wife wouldn’t go with him, and he couldn’t win against his own wife.

Alice’s delicate brows pinched together. “When did you call Jacob? How come I don’t know about it?”

She suspected he was lying to her. She’d been with him the whole time.

“Just now, while you were sleeping.”

Thomas leaned in close to Alice’s ear, smiling wickedly. “I told him you don’t have time to deal with company business these two days, the company’s…”

“Thomas Fisher! Get away from me.”

Alice reached out with her left hand and shoved the man who was breathing warm air against her ear away from her.
