Chapter 3508: Martial Aunt (25)

Chapter 3508: Martial Aunt (25)

Qi Cheng did not spit out the mouthful of blood. Instead, he swallowed it back down in silence. It would not have looked good to spit it out at a time like this.

"Do not be afraid, Master. In the future, we will establish our own sect. It will be bigger, much bigger than Zisha Island," Yi Youxuan said, quickly offering comfort when she saw Qi Cheng’s ghastly complexion.

Qi Cheng nodded. "You leave first. I will hold them back for you."

"Master!" Yi Youxuan shook her head. "If we leave, we leave together. I will not abandon you."

Yi Youxuan looked at the people surrounding them. Her gaze swept across every face, as if she were memorizing each person there. Her eyes lingered the longest on Ning Shu.

Ning Shu acted as if she did not see Yi Youxuan’s look. She truly did not care. She was fearless because she had already prepared for the worst for this battle.

She had let Yi Youxuan enter the hidden realm and retrieve the jade token. If Zisha Island could snatch it away and master the realm, the entire sect could hide inside it even if Yi Youxuan escaped and returned for revenge in the future.

This fight was bound to be incredibly difficult. Ning Shu gave her neck a slight twist, resulting in a series of sharp cracks.

The great war was on the verge of erupting.

Essentially, every powerhouse on Zisha Island had come out in full force.

Yi Youxuan gave a cold smile. She would repay everything that happened today tenfold in the future. She brought out her Houyi Bow, notched three arrows on the string, and pulled it back into a full moon. With a series of whooshes, the arrows flew.

One arrow shot toward Ning Shu, while the other two flew toward the sect leader and the grand elder.

Ning Shu felt a surge of irritation the moment she saw that Houyi Bow. She flicked her finger, conjuring a barrier to block the incoming projectile. Naturally, a simple barrier could not stop a divine artifact. The Houyi arrow pierced straight through the barrier, though its speed was somewhat reduced.

Ning Shu snatched the arrow out of the air. She sank her spiritual energy into her internal core and mobilized her celestial energy. Feeling a surge of strength in her arms, she used her raw power to bend the arrow. She pushed it so far it was nearly at the breaking point.

Ning Shu’s face turned bright red from the effort. This thing was incredibly sturdy. It truly was a divine artifact.

Yi Youxuan was internally shocked. Her Houyi arrows had never been bent by anyone before.

When she realized she could not actually snap it, Ning Shu gave up. She wrapped the arrow in a barrier and began letting water droplets fall onto it, one by one. She refused to believe she could not break it eventually.

Yi Youxuan’s expression remained cold. It was just an arrow. She stowed the Houyi Bow and brought out a divine sword, charging straight for Ning Shu.

This woman was far too annoying. She had to kill her.

This entire sect was also annoying. They were nothing but bandits.

The two women clashed. The massive force of their battle left the surrounding area in shambles, and the entirety of Zisha Island trembled slightly.

During the fight, Yi Youxuan switched between several different divine artifacts, effectively suppressing Ning Shu.

The sight made the others frown. Why had someone this powerful come to their sect? Every single item she brought out was a divine artifact.

Now, they were essentially certain that Ning Shu had been right. Yi Youxuan had definitely inherited the legacy of an ancient Divine Dao sect.

She had so many divine artifacts it was as if they were mere toys.

They felt a sense of utter helplessness. It was like ordinary players going up against a super whale player. They simply were not on the same level.

Ning Shu was mostly being suppressed and beaten by Yi Youxuan, but she was not in a hurry. She did not need a momentary victory.

What she wanted was to reclaim the jade token and inflict as much damage on Yi Youxuan as possible. It would be best if she could cause her actual physical harm.

While Ning Shu kept Yi Youxuan occupied, the other elders surrounded Qi Cheng.

Qi Cheng’s combat prowess was famously strong throughout the sect, and he had long been called the most powerful of the elders. However, even he struggled against so many opponents. While the other elders could not match him individually, they were by no means weak.

The grand elder appeared abruptly behind Qi Cheng and struck out with a light, effortless palm. It looked as though it carried no weight at all and was moving quite slowly, appearing entirely non-threatening.

Yi Youxuan saw the grand elder attacking her master out of the corner of her eye. She shouted anxiously, "Master, get out of the way!"

Qi Cheng had long since realized he was being targeted. The hair on his body stood on end—a feeling he had not experienced even when facing all the other elders at once.

Qi Cheng tried to dodge, but he felt as though his body would not move. A moment later, a massive force slammed into him.

Even his soul vibrated with a tearing pain. Qi Cheng vomited a huge spray of blood, and the light in his eyes instantly dimmed.

"Master!" Yi Youxuan’s expression changed. She desperately tried to rush toward Qi Cheng, but Ning Shu seized the opportunity. She flicked her finger, attempting to pull the blood directly out of Yi Youxuan’s body.

Yi Youxuan felt the blood in her body begin to flow in reverse. She spat out a mouthful of blood, but the sensation was quickly suppressed by her immortal estate.

Yi Youxuan looked at Ning Shu with shock and suspicion. Ning Shu looked calm on the surface, but internally she was swearing up a storm.

If this had been an ordinary person, this method should have caused their blood to burst out of their body, leading to an instant death from internal explosion. Yet Yi Youxuan had only spat out a bit of blood.

Ning Shu did not know if it was because her ordinance powers were being suppressed too heavily or if the girl was just that incredible.

"Master, are you alright?" Yi Youxuan asked Qi Cheng, ignoring the discomfort in her own body.

Qi Cheng clutched his chest. His meridians were now twisted and he was badly injured.

His internal organs had been damaged by the grand elder's palm. A coppery taste filled his throat, and he could not stop vomiting blood.

In the end, Qi Cheng was no match for the grand elder's power.

Yi Youxuan gritted her teeth. Now that both she and her master were injured, they had to make a tactical retreat and plan for the future.

"Hand over the jade token. Treasures belong to the capable. Hand it over now," the grand elder’s voice boomed in their ears like thunder.

"Pah! You shameless old bastard! You are just bullying the weak with your strength! I will not hand it over. What are you going to do about it?" Yi Youxuan said defiantly.

"You were the one who said treasures belong to the capable. Now you say I am bullying the weak?" The grand elder reached out his hand, and a massive spectral palm appeared in the air, moving to snatch the two of them.

Yi Youxuan and Qi Cheng were caught in the giant hand. They struggled with all their might but could not break free.

"Shameless old bastard!" Yi Youxuan cursed loudly. She had never been treated like this before.

Seeing that they were pinned down, Ning Shu flicked her fingers at them, forcing the blood to surge within their bodies.

Yi Youxuan and Qi Cheng both vomited blood at the same time. Yi Youxuan was still able to suppress the rebellious blood in her veins.

However, Qi Cheng was already heavily injured. With the blood now running wild in his body, some of it even burst through the vessels near the surface of his skin, spraying outward.

"Master!" Qi Cheng’s blood sprayed across Yi Youxuan’s face. Seeing him covered in blood, Yi Youxuan felt a wave of panic and anxiety.

"I am fine. Do not worry." Qi Cheng was still a Spirit Transformation cultivator. While this method could harm him, it was not enough to take his life.

It seemed they had been pushed into a desperate corner. Yi Youxuan gave a cold laugh, thinking, ‘Do not think you can trap me.’
