Chapter 3348: Don’t Call Your Classmates ‘Fatso’
When they arrived at school, Ning Yao parked his bike and went to the junior high section, while Ning Shu headed to the elementary school section.
She was in sixth grade.
Walking into the classroom, she looked at the desks and the blackboard—it all felt like another lifetime.
She sat in her seat. Suddenly, someone behind her yanked her pigtail, making her scalp hurt.
Her head tilted slightly from the force.
“Ning Shu, your hair ties look so ugly today. Let me take them off for you,” the chubby boy behind her said smugly, holding her hair tie.
“You damn fatty, give it back!”
The chubby boy ran off, sticking out his tongue at her.
Just then, the teacher walked into the room. Ning Shu immediately yelled, “Teacher! That fatso pulled my hair again and stole my hair clip to wear on his own head!”
“I did not put it on my head!”
“Both of you, stand outside as punishment! Boys shouldn’t bully girls, steal their things, or pull their hair.”
“And don’t call your classmates ‘fatso.’ Stand outside!”
Ning Shu and the chubby boy went to stand in the hallway. The boy handed her hair clip back. “Fine, have it back. How could you tattle to the teacher?”
She pinned it back onto her pigtail. “If you dare pull my hair again, I’ll have my two brothers beat you up.”
“You’re so annoying! I’m never playing with you again!” The chubby boy scooted away.
Ning Shu lowered her head. A drop of blood splattered onto the ground.
She froze. Her nose felt warm. She touched it—her fingertips came away stained red.
Little Ning Shu covered her nose, but the blood kept flowing.
“You okay? Ah! You’re having a nosebleed!” The chubby boy ran back into the classroom, yelling, “Teacher! Ning Shu’s nose is bleeding!”
The teacher rushed out and took her to the restroom, using cold water to pat the back of her neck, trying various ways to stop the bleeding.
After who knows how much blood she lost, the bleeding finally stopped.
Ning Shu sat back in her seat, pale-faced, with tissues stuffed up her nostrils, lying on her desk.
She couldn’t focus on the lesson.
When school ended, Ning Rong came to pick her up. Seeing the tissues in her nose, he immediately asked, “What happened to you?”
She shook her head. “Nothing, I just had a nosebleed.”
Ning Rong, who was fifteen, was more mature than Ning Yao. “We’re walking home. Mom should take you to the hospital.”
“Oh, it’s probably fine. But I feel like I’ve forgotten something?” Ning Shu pounded her own head, feeling like it was empty inside.
“Did your intelligence drain out with your nosebleed?” Ning Rong squatted down. “I’ll carry you.”
Ning Shu lay on Ning Rong’s back. “I think I had a dream, but I can’t remember what it was about.”
“You must have left your brain at home,” Ning Rong said.
A teenager’s shoulders weren’t broad, but in a shirt, he looked full of youthful energy and handsomeness.
The perfect model of a first crush.
“Where’s Second Brother?” Ning Shu asked.
“Playing basketball.”
As they spoke, they arrived at the bike shed. Ning Rong pushed out his bicycle.
Ning Shu sat on the back seat, resting her head against Ning Rong’s back.
She felt weak and lost too much blood.
