Chapter 858: Short Battle, Dangerous Valley

Though the tower is powerless when it comes to sending Kent and others into the tower space and out, it was more than able to get something valuable from the danger surrounding Kent and Adina.
“Can you still fight?” Kent asked Adina.
“I can fight, but I can’t handle more than two Spirit Kings,” Adina answered Kent, who was already looking for a way out.
“Don’t worry, they are just small fries. I will handle the rest, you just have to hold back the Level 5 Spirit Lord for a few minutes,” Kent said, knowing this wasn’t the time to look scared.
Not that he was scared.
If anything, turning into his dragon form had activated his Chaos Dragon bloodline, and as such, he was already getting restless to enter combat mode.
He was surrounded by four Spirit Lords and thirteen Spirit Sovereigns, but he wasn’t scared one bit. The only reason he hadn’t attacked yet was because of Adina.
If she dies, he will also die, so he has to protect her too.
That put him in a bind. However, his solution came in the form of Spirit Points.
’Tower, purchase ten of those items.’
He wasn’t even done with the command when the tower responded with the buy notification.
The Dark Elf in the air pointed at Kent and shouted…
“Hand over the girl, and maybe we will let you leave.”
“What if I said no?” Kent asked, pointing his clawed hands back at the Dark Elf.
“Then you will die.”
“I don’t think so. However, I have to say this. If you were to turn around and leave now, I will spare your lives.”
All seventeen mercenaries burst out in resounding laughter, throwing their heads back. However, nobody was prepared for what happened next.
Kent pointed his clawed index finger at seven Spirit Soverigns. “You… you… And you, kill your teammates.”
As if possessed, the seven Root Sovereigns he commanded stabbed their teammates from behind, ending them. It was brutal but quick and painless.
“Now!”
Kent shouted, throwing Adina with a force that sent her flying toward the level five Spirit King before shouting at the seven Spirit Soveriegns he had taken over. “Don’t just stand there, kill these bastards.”
The seven who had just stabbed their teammates went through the heart, lunged at the second and third Spirit Kings.
Kent, on the other hand, looked at the level 6 Spirit King and smiled. “Shall we—”
He was already on the move before the words even left his lips.
BOOM
Kent clashed with the Dark Elf, sending him flying to the ground. ’I will use just one percent of my bloodline for now.’
Kent’s claw was coated with the Claw Aura, making every strike deadly. And thanks to using his bloodline power, every swing was powerful enough to keep the Dark Elf contained.
“I bet you didn’t see this coming.” Kent swiped his claw, sending five arcs of flames at the Dark Elf.
He, in turn, swung his axe too, creating a swirling vortex. The two attacks met and canceled each other out. However, the outcome didn’t look good for the Dark Elf.
Kent activated the [Flame Wheels] and closed in, landing a powerful kick on the Dark Elf. The Dark Elf was sent flying back again.
Kent took out his sword and unleashed five clone bodies, sending them running toward the Dark Elf from different directions.
The Dark Elf came to a halt when he saw the five clones.
Of course, he lunged at the one closest and took him out, but before handling the second clone, Kent swapped places with the third, landing a cut on the Dark Elf’s body.
“Good chance.” Kent swapped places with the fifth clone, which had run 5 km back. The moment he was 5 km away, he unleashed [Void Cleave].
The sword arc from the Void Cleave tore through the air, locking on the Dark Elf. He immediately felt the danger coming.
“Budha’s Palm.”
Kent didn’t rest. He swapped places again with the fourth clone and unleashed one of the flame techniques he had learned from the Flame Tower.
A large palm appeared in the air and slammed hard on the Dark Elf.
The Void Cleave and the Flame Palm strikes left many injuries.
However, as a spirit Lord, the two attacks couldn’t take him out.

Adina, on the other hand, was equally matched against the Spirit Lord she was fighting. Though she was hurt, her strength didn’t pale when facing the level 5 Spirit Lord.
She wouldn’t be able to kill him, but she was already making progress in the Stalling department.
The other Spirit Lords were also occupied.
Faced by multiple Spirits Sovereigns, they weren’t managing the situation well. Of course, the moment the ten-minute countdown reaches zero, the seven Spirit Sovereigns Kent used the Soul Torture on will drop dead.

With the peace sign from his clawed fingers, the seventeen individuals vanished from sight. The formation sent away both the living and the dead.
Kent sighed, then he moved toward Adina, who was panting for breath.
“Are you alright?” Kent asked.
Adina nodded and turned to face him. She looked around for a few seconds, but after finding nothing, she turned back to Kent.
“Where are they?” she asked.
“I don’t know. I just sent them somewhere random.” Kent turned back to his human form after the few wounds he had sustained healed.
⟦Master, I have mapped out the entire valley and created a map. The Teleportation Mountains are two weeks away.
However, this place is not simple. It has some dangerous beasts you will have to avoid.
Therefore, going straight through is not an option. To reach your destination, you will need to navigate using the map.
There are ten other teams currently looking for her. Additionally, I have informed your ladies that you are currently occupied with something, as they lost contact with you.
Also, there is a level 2 Heavenly Ascension stage cultivator after her, so avoiding him is of utmost priority.
