Chapter 832: I Hate Men
Chapter 832: I Hate Men
With the match over, every disciple started making their way out of the arena.
They had each witnessed a shocking display of strength, and that alone left them stunned.
Those who, for reasons unknown, disliked Kent had all seen his shocking display, and that woke something in them – Fear.
They all saw what Kent could do, and while it was shocking, that gave them the wake-up call to snap out of their hate and see reality.
The inner disciples, hoping he would never make it to the Inner Sect, were all left disappointed, while the outer disciples, with dreams of making it to the Inner Sect before him, were seething, knowing he and a few others had left them in the dust.
Not only has Kent gained the recognition of a Sword Emperor, but he has also earned so much that anyone would kill their best friends for.
First, he had become an inner disciple 14 days after joining the sect.
Second, he now has a chance to spend seven days inside the Spiritual Core pool. It is one of the places any disciple would kill to enter.
Those who have yet to refine their cores would not only be able to do so much faster, but someone like Kent will also be able to level up once or twice due to the abundance of spiritual qi in that region.
It is so rich that anyone would love to spend just a day there, using the energy to either refine their core or strengthen their foundations.
The third, Kent, now has two chances to ask Lady Enzi for help. That is something not even elders can brag about.
Fourth, he had secured a spot to participate in the upcoming selection trial for disciples representing the sect in the interplanetary competition.
That alone is enough for anyone to take pride in.
Not only has he entered a pool that only Core disciples swim in, but Lady Enzi planned on adding him to the main strike team, the ones that will start all battles for the sect, instead of merely being a substitute.
That is such a great honor, and Kent can feel it.
Then there is the part where he had earned 500,000 supreme points and had the chance to select his own cultivation peak once he got to the inner sect.
That alone is enough and worth the trouble of winning 100 duels.
As for a chance to view the True Sword Tablet, Kent was looking forward to it.

[Lady Enzi’s Glass Domain – Aftermath of the Duel]
Kent found himself back in the glass domain, facing Lady Enzi, just as before. However, this time, the air in the space looked calm, and it was more focused on him.
Lady Enzi has a few questions for him, and Kent knew these questions would be ones he had to answer carefully, considering he had shocked both Lady Enzi and Lady Liora, two of the most powerful elders in the entire sect.
They sat in silence for five good minutes before Lady Enzi spoke.
“Are you a body cultivator?”
“Yes. I am a diamond body cultivator.”
“I see. That explains the fact that you were able to take on a power swing from a Silver body and not take even a step back.”
Kent nodded. Thanks to his body reaching the diamond stage, he was able to raise his strength to the point where blocking a giant hammer with his bare hand wasn’t a struggle.
Of course, drinking the elixir that allowed him and his legion to temper their bones had also played a crucial role in enabling him to use his hand as a form of defense.
Lady Enzi was clearly shocked to hear his body cultivation stage, but she didn’t allow it to show on her face. Instead, she asked the second question.
“What about soul cultivation?”
“I am currently at Tier 13.”
She raised her brow this time. ’Not only is he a diamond body cultivator, but he is also a Tier 13 soul cultivator. Just who is this kid?’
Even she, at the moment, had only recently reached Tier 14, something she had spent over 2,000 years working on.
However, Kent is but a 21-year-old level 4 core formation cultivator, and he had already reached Tier 13; that is just too much.
“One last question, how many limits have you broken so far?” This question seemed a little personal, because many wouldn’t casually reveal the number of limits broken.
In the high worlds, where most spend a great deal to break their limits, if a cultivator finds out one surpasses them, they tend to take it not so well.
The chances of stabbing their own friends in the back are very high.
So, telling one the number of limits broken is not a good idea. Even Vexthra, who is a goddess, out of habit, nearly didn’t tell Kent when he asked.
But even after painstakingly breaking 76 limits, making her a powerhouse as a true god, she wouldn’t just tell anyone the number of limits she had broken.
But Kent doesn’t care about those things.
“I have broken four limits.”
This time, Lady Enzi’s expression switched from shock to respect, and it remained like that while she stared at Kent for another ten minutes.
“No wonder that old goat praised you like you are some kind of a sage.”
Kent laughed, “Yeah, that was a little over the nose, but I guess his words weren’t that bad.”
“I suppose. In any case, you are an impressive young man.”
“Good for me, I guess. Being praised by a fairy such as yourself is a dream come true.”
“Tch, no need to flatter me with your words, I hate men,” Lady Enzi said with a smirk.
Kent also smiled, “What a coincidence, I hate men too. They are just too destructive.” Kent’s smile turned into laughter, filling the glass domain.
“We haven’t even gotten to know each other better, but we have already found something we have in common. I say this is a good start.”
“Stop daydreaming, brat. After today, you will not even have a chance to talk to me. I just brought you here to get a good understanding of your strength so I can make a good argument for you to the sect leader.”
“If the Pill Emperor said this, I might have believed her, but I don’t believe you, Lady Enzi. I can tell you won’t be able to keep your hands away from me from now on.” Kent smirked.
“You are not my disciple, and I only talk to my disciples, whom I happen to have one now. So I won’t have time to entertain you much longer. That said, hand me your sect badge, let me transfer the supreme points to you.”
Kent did as he was told, and soon, he had received the five hundred thousand supreme points she promised.
“Is she a core disciple… your disciple?” Kent asked.
“No. I am yet to recruit her, but I think you already have a fair idea.”
“I see. In that case, good knowing you. I will be sure to keep my eyes on you,” Kent said before standing up, “And oh, if you need assistance with any pill, don’t forget to book my services.”
“My friend is a Pill Emperor, so I will be fine.”
“Fair point. In that case, I will be on my way now.” The glass cracked open, and Kent vanished through it. When he was gone, Lady Enzi also vanished and appeared somewhere in the core sect.
