Chapter 1916: Revenge Is a Bitch (1)

"What happened, Kent?" Alina asked in a worried tone, staring at Kent’s pale face.

He smiled and cupped her cheeks. "Relax, Alina, I am fine."

"Then what happened? Why did you suddenly scream?"

"I had an unannounced and unexpected visit from my unruly weapon, which had been held captive somewhere in this dreadful place. It had given me the direction, and so that is where I will be going next."

"You mean we will be going," Alina corrected, but Kent smiled and shook his head.

"No, I will be continuing alone from here onwards. Your sisters are almost ready to attack the Grim Arcane Legends, and they are going to need your help, so go help them."

Alina frowned. "They haven’t attacked yet, which means we still have time to ourselves. So until they attack, I will keep moving with you. Plus, you need someone to watch your back just in case you have another episode."

She turned, staring at the 5 humans who had spears jammed through their chests, pinning them to the ground.

A few minutes ago, when Kent was on the ground screaming, they attacked, hoping to ambush them, but Alina had eliminated them before they could do anything.

Seeing this, Kent sighed and nodded. "Fine, you have made your point. We will keep moving together, but the moment they attack, you will go help them. Afterwards, you can return here. That is, if I am not done here by then."

She nodded and smiled.

A few minutes later, they left, now heading in a defined direction with a mission in mind. Kent now knew where his spear was, and so he wouldn’t leave until he got it back.

Meanwhile, inside the Legion Tower, every last one of Kent’s wives and the members of his legion, except the ones who were either in other realms or away on missions, had gathered.

They were all clad in their armor, ready to unleash hell on whichever battlefield was calling.

Kaizo stood at the front of the Undead Legion, his expression showing that he was both happy and eager to show the peasants who had offended his master’s wife what hell looks like.

Nexorphis, the reality bender who was currently the leader of the Forbidden Beast Legion, also stood in front of her teammates, showing she would be leading them.

Of course, since there had only been one beast legion, but with 13 members, hence the name 13 Divine Wonders, one day the leaders of each Legion would return. But for now, Nexorphis was leading the Forbidden Beasts, and Xelthar, the Fatebreaker, was leading the Abominations.

They had only four members, but Krex and the seven Monarchs from Kent’s time in the Pill Worlds 300,000 years ago, who hadn’t yet formed their official legions, had decided to join them and would be taking orders from Xelthar.

The Eternal Wrath Legion, surprisingly led by Ant King Ketu, was also ready to engage in battle. So far, they had the most members and the most powerful warriors, so they would be doing most of the heavy lifting.

The Night Riders were not here, so in their place, Elsa decided to march with her Soul Sentinels. In total, she had about 10,000 Soul Sentinels under her command, and they were all ready to fight.

Then, of course, came the Chaos Dragon Harem, who would be led by Dia and supported by Pandora. This arrangement was reached simply because Pandora’s job would be more of a support role.

Using her abilities to protect her sisters from harm is allowed by the heavenly dao, even if she couldn’t directly interfere with the battle. The same was true for Fiannarel, who was even stronger than Pandora.

Fortunately for them, the intel said there were four Primordials protecting the Grim Arcane Legends.

And since the Third Undead Princess was still around and she had decided to lend them her strength, she would be fighting one, and her Ancient Undead Athena would also fight another, leaving two.

Pandora would take on the third, and Eliza, who was a Pseudo-Primordial, had promised to handle the last one.

If, during the battle, more showed up, then Fiannarel would make a hard choice and lower her cultivation base even if it meant the heavens would punish her.

They also have Neveross, who can take on a primordial as well.

Finally, Vexthra would be the supreme commander/strategist alongside Zaila and Selene.

Selene was added simply because her way of thinking was illogical. They needed someone who could come up with plans that were unheard of and borderline insane yet made perfect sense.

So she was part of the strategic team, and thanks to the Tower Shop, they bought weapons that would come in handy when the battle started. They were all handed to Selene to use whenever she deemed it necessary.

Just before Vexthra began her short yet precise speech, one last warrior joined them...

"Oh, look who finally decided to join the winning team," Unity teased, staring at Estella, the Second Flame Matriarch, who appeared in front of the line wearing armor she had purchased from the Tower Shop.

They had asked her to help in the battle a few weeks ago, but she had arrogantly said she didn’t fight mediocre battles.

So, her appearing now showed she had changed her mind, and since she was bound to Kent, she couldn’t betray them, which meant she was indeed on their side.

"Just get this over with so I can go back to my meditation."

Most of the ladies laughed, but they were all happy that a warrior such as the Second Flame Matriarch had joined them.

Vexthra scanned their faces and smiled. "This is it, everyone. I don’t have much to say since all the words will be displayed on the battlefield. We will crush them, every last one of them, and when we are done, we will march to the De Marcus Great Family and the Weyori Great Family, reducing them to piles of ash.

"They have so much sin to their names, but their one true sin was making our sister and friend cry. That is where we draw the line, and so by the end of this war, the entire universe will know that when it comes to the Chaos Dragon Family, we don’t fuck around."

"To war, everyone!"

"TO WAR!"
