Chapter 1688: Lackeys of Pill God Brandon
Chapter 1688: Lackeys of Pill God Brandon
Kent stood up and looked at the fifteen demigods, who wore smug smiles as they gazed down on everyone. With the kind of aura they possessed, the pressure bearing down on everyone was simply too overwhelming.
The only one still on his feet was Kent.
He used his [Omniscient Jade Eyes] to scan the person leading them.
---
[Name: Axten Zul]
[Title: Blood River God]
[Rank: Demigod (God Emperor)]
[Job Class: Swordsman]
[Observation: Axten Zul is one of the enforcers in Pill God Brandon’s faction. He carries out his dirty work.]
---
’So they are gods suppressed to the demigod stage, huh?’ Kent grinned, then narrowed his eyes and said,
"This place is not somewhere you losers can come and do as you please. Can’t you see we are in the middle of something more important than your little dick lives?"
His words struck like needles, instantly changing the arrogant expressions on the faces of the fifteen people in the air. Before they could fire back at him, Kent walked forward and added,
"I know you losers were sent here by that dog calling himself Pill God Brandon. Now, I don’t know what you losers were thinking before coming here today, but allow me to open your eyes.
If any of you dare lay a single finger on Pill God Flura, I will make sure today is the last time you breathe the air of the living. So make your decision, and let’s get this over with. I have more important things to do than waste my time on people like you."
"Brat, who do you think you are?" Axten shouted, his sword manifesting firmly in his grip.
"I am your father, punk. Better watch your tone before I drive a spear up your ass and skewer your intestines," Kent responded with an added mocking laugh, causing visible smoke to practically rise from Axten’s head.
His face turned grim, and his body trembled with sheer anger.
"KILL HIM!"
His words came out hoarse, and the effect was immediate. Fourteen demigods lunged at Kent, surrounding him from all directions at once. They drew their weapons and charged up their attacks.
Seeing this, Kent smiled and shook his head. "What a pity. Death is inevitable at this point. Then again, they asked for death, so I will grant them just that."
"DIE, YOU BASTARD!" the fourteen demigods roared, their killing intent locking onto Kent.
However, just before any of them could breach the one-meter mark, shadowy figures clad in cloaks and wearing hoods appeared like ghosts behind all fourteen of them and plunged poison daggers into their necks.
There wasn’t even a struggle. The moment the daggers went in, all fourteen fell from the sky and slammed into the ground, causing everyone below to gasp in shock.
The shadowy fiends vanished as quickly as they had appeared, and Kent grinned at Axten, who was the only one left alive.
"Now, to the main reason why you losers are here."
Kent moved and appeared before Axten, who had turned pale, his body trembling like a frightened child. Before he could react to Kent’s sudden movement, a deadly fist slammed into his stomach, sending him flying backwards.
Kent tapped into the Soul Map and instantly appeared behind him, landing another punch squarely on his back and sending him hurtling in the opposite direction.
He repeated the same thing three more times, each strike heavier than the last, before finally catching Axten by the head.
"Before I send you running back to your master, allow me to vent some of the anger I’ve had piled up."
His knee moved.
BANG!
It landed directly on Axten’s nose.
Blood gushed out immediately, but Kent didn’t stop. He coated his knee in ice and delivered three more brutal strikes, completely shattering Axten’s nose.
After that, he held the man’s head firmly in place and unleashed slap after slap across his face, cheeks, ears, temples, and every other part of his head he could reach.
PA! PA! PA! PA! PA!
The sound echoed throughout the area.
By the time Kent was finished, Axten had been reduced to a pitiful state, causing many people to sympathise with him despite the fact that he was clearly in the wrong.
He had come here believing that, because he was a god, he could do whatever he pleased.
Reality had proven rather disappointing.
Once Kent had finally had enough, he extended his hand, and a fruit appeared.
Then, with a gentle squeeze, he let a few drops of its liquid drip into Axten’s mouth.
Inside his body, the injuries began to heal rapidly. Not completely, but just enough for him to think clearly and deliver the message Kent intended for Pill God Brandon.
Kent then summoned Ixarion, the Mind Flayer, whom he trusted to ensure that everything he was about to say would be delivered exactly as intended.
"First of all, tell your employer that I, Kent Madson, look down on him. Tell him I said even a dog is better than him. Tell him I said he is the biggest loser in the universe.
Tell him I said he is impotent and that his dick is as small as a pickle.
Tell him he should stop calling himself a god and focus on calling himself a loser instead. Tell him I said he is a disappointment to both his mother and father.
And tell him that if he dares to look at Pill God Flura funny even one more time, I will personally come to the God Realm and beat him black and blue.
Finally, tell him, and this is very important. Tell him that I, Kent Madson, think he is..."
Kent stopped and smiled.
Then he flicked his hand.
The poor bastard was instantly sent flying 200,000 km away.
Inside the Soul Map, Kent could do as he pleased as long as his soul power had enough time to take hold of the target.
He turned and looked at Ixarion.
"Were you able to do it?"
"Yes, Young Lord. The moment he finishes repeating everything you told him to say, he will self-destruct and die. His final words will hang in the air like chains wrapped around Pill God Brandon’s neck."
"Nice one, Ixarion. You can go back now."
Ixarion nodded and vanished from sight.
Kent turned and looked at everyone.
"Sorry about that. It’s just that I hate it when people in power try to suppress the weak."
Considering the way he had casually trashed a demigod, none of them dared complain.
Kent took their silence as agreement and smiled.
He sat back down and opened the system to read the notifications that had appeared.
However, before he could focus on them, another cloud formation began gathering overhead.
He smirked and was about to issue a warning to whoever dared interrupt him again when the pill, which had been cocooned within the golden shield and suspended above the lotus, suddenly shot into the clouds.
At the same time, its golden glow deepened to a deep crimson.
"Flura, what is happening?"
She smiled mysteriously.
"You’ll see in a minute."
Exactly one minute later, the golden dome surrounding the pillar shattered.
CRACK!
Countless golden fragments scattered through the sky like falling stars.
As everyone’s eyes widened, a humanoid figure was revealed.
Or, more accurately, a little human child about the same size as Tower.
She had long crimson-red hair that flowed down her back, big, round eyes that sparkled with intelligence, a cute princess dress woven from crimson energy, and adorable little red shoes.
"WOOOW!"
Everyone gasped in shock when they saw the beautiful little girl.
