Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1590 Terrifying Changes (1)

Kent clearly didn’t expect a growing threat right inside his soul sea. From what he could sense from the tree, the aura of life coming from it was filled with an abundance of health and peace. Such a power shouldn’t be a threat, right?

Kent didn’t think that was the case, so he just took a deep breath and decided to examine the changes that had happened to him. Perhaps that would help him prepare for what was coming.

Turning away from the tree, he scanned the vast expanse of his soul sea, and all he could see was power, an untamed power.

His soul sea had expanded to 700 million km after he reached the True Immortal stage. Now, his strength is comparable to that of a medium-level demigod. However, in the grand scheme of things, one can tell that sometimes the power of a cultivator is not determined by their cultivation stage.

Kent is a clear example of that. He is now a True Immortal, but he can contend against a demigod. That is because he has more energy, experience, and skills that would come into play when he faces such an opponent.

The second example is the Crimson Blood Demon General, who is merely a demigod but possesses the power of a God King. So while Kent may have become powerful, there are opponents even he would have to go all out against.

Thankfully, he could see various ways to accomplish them without being severely disadvantaged.

His attention was first directed at the grand platform now standing several million km wide. The Primal Blood Platform had upgraded, and with it, the two Blood Gates had become more monstrous.

One stood several million km tall and wide. In fact, looking at the first Blood Gate, Kent felt a terrifying sensation wash over him.

“Is this thing even normal? I mean, if it scares me, who happens to be the owner, then what about my foes?” Kent scoffed, his expression brightening up.

Inside the first Blood Gate, he had four cores: the Blood Core (red), Flame Core (green), Chaos Heart/Core (purple and gold), and now the first Evil Core (Black). While only the Blood Core affected his cultivation, the other three strengthened him in ways even he couldn’t bring himself to understand just yet.

The changes that had happened to him were just too many to comprehend. Though he knew that with these changes, he could go into battle knowing full well that even after 100 days, he wouldn’t run out of energy.

He turned and looked at Tower, who was hovering right beside him. “Tower, so how much energy do you think I have contained inside my first Blood Gate alone?”

“The master has roughly 200 billion years’ worth of energy contained in just the Evil Core alone. If all four are put together, you are looking at 1.5 trillion years’ worth of energy. Now, while the master may think this is small, consider the possibility that in battle, you can unleash a million years’ worth of energy every time you attack.

Even if you go all out, you wouldn’t run out of energy. That said, you have the potential to run out of energy, so maybe review the changes first before we make that assumption.” Kent nodded and turned to the next Blood Gate.

In there, only two cores hovered: the second Blood Core (red) and the second Flame Core (red). He had yet to form the second Evil Core and Chaos Heart. But that was also fine. As a True Immortal, he could do more than he could when he was still a mortal.

“Tower, pull up the messages about my Primal Blood Platform.”

Tower nodded and did as she was told.

[Congratulations. Your Primal Blood Platform has undergone an upgrade: Immortal Grade]

[Your Primal Blood Platform has expanded to 200 million km wide. Because of this expansion, your Blood Gates have expanded too, and the same applies to your cores.]

[Because of the expansion, you now have more energy to use in powering your attacks. However, your cores are not saturated yet.]

[Current Saturation: First Blood Gate]

↠ Blood Core: 40%

↠ Flame Core: 50%

↠ Chaos Heart: 5%

↠ Evil Core: 60%

[Current Saturation: Second Blood Gate]

↠ Blood Core: 60%

↠ Flame Core: 50%

Kent smiled weakly, his expression mirroring that of a helpless cat. The information displayed before him was not something he expected at all. While he was already aware that his Chaos Heart was lacking, he never expected the others to be this low.

Now, to saturate them, he must absorb a large sum of Blood Essence, Flame Essence, Chaos Essence, and Evil Essence.

The first three, in his opinion, could be obtained. The Evil Essence, however, was where the problem started. In the past, the Ruthless Bandit replenished his energy by killing and absorbing resentment. Now, however, Kent understood that unnecessary killing wouldn’t be the way forward this time around.

So he must find another way if he intends to use his Evil Core. While it could, over time, replenish what it lost, he knew that would be too slow.

So finding a way to go about that would be the next best thing.

“Huh.” Just when he was about to close the status page, something caught his attention.

Snapping his attention back to the Blood Core, his expression narrowed.

[Current Saturation: First Blood Gate]

↠ Blood Core: 45%

↠ Flame Core: 50%

↠ Chaos Heart: 5%

↠ Evil Core: 60%

“Five percent, where did that come from?” Kent asked, his head turning to face Tower.

“The master had awakened many abilities that even I don’t understand yet. However, it appears the master gains energy from the deaths of his subordinates and friends. This means your wives and legion.”

Kent blinked once or twice and threw his head back, a resounding laughter escaping his lips. Five percent Blood Qi was akin to 200 million years’ worth of energy.

If, in a span of mere seconds, he had earned that, perhaps he had nothing to worry about.

“Tower, where did that energy come from?”

“Part of it came from the Soul Warriors, and the other came from the legion currently clearing the dungeons.” Kent nodded, his expression brightening up.

“Then this is nothing to worry about after all. I will let them replenish my Blood Core while I focus on the other cores.”

This discovery had improved Kent’s mood. Now, he just had to saturate the other cores. Going to the Tormented Chaos Abyss would surely help him handle the Chaos Heart.

Then, once he ascended to the Immortal Realm, he would find a way for his Flame Core and Evil Core.

Kent turned away from the Primal Blood Platform and looked at the [Underworld Soul River]. Even from afar, he could sense terrifying beings hidden just behind those giant doors.

The entire nature of the [Underworld Soul River] had changed, and now, he could tell it had become much more powerful.

“Tower, pull up the messages on the [Underworld Soul River].”

[Your Underworld Soul River has undergone a significant upgrade from Tier 1 ↠ Tier 2]

[Underworld Soul River]

[Rank: ???]

[Tier: 2]
