Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1585 Leveling Up

Kent had already planned to face this mission across the star gateway with his Heavenly Ascension stage strength. However, when the stakes rose, he had to adapt.

Going against demigods with his Heavenly Ascension stage strength is suicide.

Thankfully, the Realm Ascension Pill came to him when he needed it the most.

As he sat there, both outside and inside his soul sea, the changes were immediate. The air grew thick, filled with an oppressive energy.

The effect of the Realm Ascension pill started to show. His energy grew stronger, and with it, his strength rose.

The first change was that the blood sea within his soul slowly grew denser and, most importantly, vast. It expanded, and from within, mountains rose, shooting up several kilometers.

In no time, his 100,000 km-wide soul sea expanded to 600,000 km. An average person would have a soul sea of the size of 30,000 km to 50,000 km when they move from Tier 19 (Heavenly Ascension) to the Empyrean stage (Tier 20).

Geniuses sometimes go as far as 100,000 km, while prodigies and monsters can even reach 200,000 km to 350,000 km.

The concept is like this: a person with a vast soul sea has more potential and power. Having a vast soul sea contributes to so many things, and Kent might have just become the first person ever to reach a 600,000 km-wide soul sea at the Empyrean stage.

From his memories, Chaos’s was 400,000 km when he went from Tier 19 to Tier 20. Jest (Lord Genesis) was 380,000 km, and the Ruthless Bandit was 450,000 km.

So his soul sea, expanding as far as 600,000 km, was a clear sign that he was no ordinary person.

But that was smaller compared to what happened when he leveled up to the Life stage (Tier 21). His soul sea expanded, covering over 1.5 million km, the blood sea surging with energy.

His entire presence felt as if he were ascending to the God stage. The energy exuding from him and the aura surrounding him were all dense and potent to the point that a True Immortal would collapse before him.

But that didn’t end there. As the Realm Ascension Pill continued to break the limits and push his cultivation up, the Primal Blood Platform inside his soul sea started to expand.

At first, it was a 40,000 km-wide platform. However, when his soul sea started to expand, so did the Primal Blood Platform. When he moved from the Heavenly Ascension stage to the Empyrean stage, it grew vast, expanding to 140,000 km in width.

But that wasn’t the only change.

The Blood Core, Flame Core, Chaos Heart, and Evil Core inside his first core gates started to expand too, making it so he would have to saturate them all over again.

Naturally, Kent had no plans of thinking about that now.

He knew the power contained in the cores is what keeps pushing him toward the Immortal stage, so once they run out, he would have to saturate them if he wants to level up.

His brow knitted, knowing he was in for a wild one.

Why?

Because while having many cores would surely come in handy during battles, saturating and leveling up would be a headache.

“Ah, I am going to be stuck at the Immortal stage for a while if no miracle happens after these breakthroughs,” a pale smile formed on his face.

Just then, his soul sea had reached 3 million km, and he had also leveled up to the Death stage (Tier 22). The next step would take him to the Root Immortal stage.

On the outside, the Tower now looked much more beautiful, but still tiny. Even so, her smile is radiant as she extends her hand, summoning a green rock.

The moment the green rock appeared, Kent’s body released a powerful burst of blood, chaos, flame, and evil qi, the kind that swept across Skull City, causing many to drop to their knees and bow.

“Time for you to take a bold step, Master. Time for you to upgrade your Primal Blood Platform to the Immortal grade.”

Just as she said that, strands of green energy began to move from the green stone and enter Kent’s forehead, appearing within his soul sea.

In there, he snapped his eyes open, the look of fascination and shock appearing in them.

“True Dao Energy.” Kent recognized it simply because he had seen it in both Jest’s and the Ruthless Bandit’s memories. This energy is only observed when one is forming their Supreme Platform.

Of course, to sense it more clearly, one must either gain insight from others—like the six primordial beasts did for Inaya when she started her formation process—or be extracted from what many call Dao Stones.

Naturally, both are hard to come by, since giving someone insight by letting them experience your Dao is akin to revealing your weaknesses to them.

So, unless the person involved can be trusted completely, that option is not something anyone would do.

The second, and perhaps the hardest to come by, is using Dao Stones. These stones can be obtained through various ways, the easiest being from the remains of Celestial beings.

When a Celestial dies, their core transforms into a Dao Stone, sealing within it the Celestial’s complete understanding of their Dao. When used, one gains some understanding of it.

Of course, there are several other ways to obtain Dao Stones. However, they are hard to come by, and so having a large chunk like the green one before Kent is just plain impossible.

Somehow, the Tower managed to get one, and, even more shocking, Kent is using it even though he was only just stepping into the Immortal stage.

That had never happened before, not in this universe at least. So, for him to have such an opportunity, even without the Tower saying anything, he knew he had to grab this chance.

“The Master has 6 hours to comprehend at least something small from this Dao. It came from a Celestial who cultivated the Life Dao. If the Master can comprehend it, then perhaps when you finally become an Immortal, your health would become monstrous.”

Kent nodded, his heart beating faster.

He forced himself to calm down, then reached out and gently touched the green energy. The moment his hand touched it, his consciousness was pulled away from his soul sea and body, and he was taken through a temporal channel that passed through the past, present, and future at once.

Kent didn’t know what kind of power was able to move him through such a portal, but he didn’t allow himself to be drawn into the euphoria.

The thrill he felt moved deeper into his body until he was no longer moving through a channel. Instead, he found himself falling without any resistance.

When he entered the atmosphere, he found himself falling to a green surface that at first looked like a vast sea. However, as he drew closer, he saw it was snow.

This made him sigh in his heart because, from what he knew, snow at some point can be soft, which, if he calculated well, would soften his landing.

Safe to say, when he finally landed on the ground, he went splat.

However, something peculiar happened, leaving him stunned. He expected to feel pain, and he slammed into the ground. However, when he landed, he felt nothing.

His bones were shattered, and his skin was almost peeled off, yet he felt no pain. However, when he stood to examine himself, he was shocked to see that his injuries had healed and, most importantly, that his body had never felt better.

“What in the Willy Wonka craziness is happening here?”

His expression changed, and for a moment, a chill ran down his spine.
