Chapter 1435 Third Soul Warrior - Bello

Chapter 1435 Third Soul Warrior – Bello

After the issue with the mural was resolved, Kent turned his focus to Bello’s profile.

He is now a True Immortal with five strands of Immortal Qi. That was a huge leap from his initial cultivation before Kent killed him inside the Void Temple. Now he had become a True Immortal.

However, while that is awesome, his focus shifted to his race, class, and, surprisingly, his bloodline. That was something new, something he never expected, considering Calix and Kenna do not have bloodlines yet.

However, he didn’t dwell much on that since he knew there was nothing bad about having a bloodline.

Looking at Bello’s appearance, he wasn’t too shocked when he saw his race. He is a [Soul Elf], a never-before-seen breed of Elves that specialize in the soul arts.

Of course, considering he is an archer, it is normal that he is an Elf. But unlike the ordinary breed of elves, he is intimately linked to the soul, which is a good thing.

Kent had already come to the conclusion that all his soul warriors would have their nature linked to the soul, so he was perfectly fine with that.

As for his class, it is a special one.

Class: Spirit Archer Description: With the soul as a conduit, the Spirit Archer is unstoppable. With souls on the battlefield, the Spirit Archer becomes unstoppable.

The class description is simple but contains so much. First was the soul as a conduit. Obviously, this one has to do with his connection to the soul.

As a soul warrior, he had no problem with that. He is connected to the soul on a much deeper level.

However, Bello is special.

Unlike Calix, who is a soul demon, and Kenna, whose affinity leans more toward the void, he is more rooted in the spirit.

This means his connection to the soul is much deeper than the rest. So his class, which is tied to the soul, allows him to link with the Soul Universe and do whatever he wants.

He can form arrows and all kinds of projectiles from the soul without much stress. Also, with these benefits, his stamina is much more preserved, since he is linked to the soul, so using it doesn’t put much strain on him.

The second half of the description had to do with soul spirits. Basically, the more he kills, or the more deaths there are on the battlefield, the more deadly he becomes.

He can form arrows and all kinds of weapons he can wield very easily. His class is versatile in matters of the soul and spirit. That alone shows just what kind of monster he is.

Bloodline: Grand Underworld Spirit Shaman → Description: A messenger from the underworld with a mission to escort lost and stubborn spirits back into the River of Styx.

His bloodline is a strange one, but thanks to his affinities, a great deal of understanding was drawn from it.

Affinities: [Soul Affinity], [Spirit Affinity], [Underworld Essence Affinity]

The [Soul Affinity] is, of course, primary to all soul warriors, so it was normal to have it. However, the main chain lies with the [Spirit Affinity] and [Underworld Essence Affinity].

The Spirit Affinity allows him to interact with soul spirits. There is little to no information about how far he can take this affinity, but the mere fact that he can interact with them means he can do more than talk with them.

However, since there was no description of what he could do, Kent had to ask. Bello’s reply, however, left him in a state of shock.

It turned out he can do more than talk. To him, when someone dies, they become his subordinates. It doesn’t matter who, what, or when they were killed. As long as they are soul spirits, he has the power to command them.

Aside from that, he can temporarily possess a soul spirit and use their connection to their body to detonate their core.

So in this case, if a demigod were to die fresh in battle, Bello can possess their body, and even though they are dead, he can do one last thing, which is overloading and detonating their core.

That was all Kent needed to hear to know he had found the perfect warrior for when the odds are stacked against him. Although he can use the possession effect only once a day, if done correctly, he only needs to use it once to end the battle.

Aside from that, the [Underworld Essence Affinity] allows him a connection to an aspect of the underworld that Kent never expected.

His [Underworld Soul River] is linked directly to the River of Styx. So he was a bit puzzled when he learned that Bello could also harness the power of the

River of Styx.

He can use it to form arrows and all kinds of weapons, provided he can wield them. That, in a way, makes him super deadly.

However, while he has three powerful affinities, he has only manifested two aspects and one innate ability.

Aspects: [Underworld Fisherman], [Spirit Eye]

These aspects were better explained by Bello. According to him, the [Underworld Fisherman] gives him some form of power to fish out lost souls and command them to fight for him.

It is random, so he can fish out a dud or a devil to do his deeds. Once a soul is caught, it remains tethered to his soul, making them his to command forever- unless, of course, they die.

As for the [Spirit Eye], he can see beyond the physical plane. His eyes let him see deep into the spirit plane, revealing what lies beyond the mortal realm.

Basically, he can see more than others can.

As for the innate ability, it is a bit special.

Innate Ability: [Underworld Escort]

This ability is rather insidious, regardless of how one tries to justify it. With the power to escort fallen souls, Bello can also drag living souls to the sea of the damned. He can open the door to the River of Styx, and with enough force, he

can pull a soul inside.

Once they cross the gate, regardless of how healthy they are, they will drop

dead.

Bello can see both the physical body and the spirit, so he can choose which to fight. This makes him very special and very deadly.

“I envy your innate ability, Bello. You are like the Grim Reaper walking among men.”

Bello smiled.

He knew Kent was just joking, but hearing his words made him feel good. He extended his hand, and 12 Soul Crystals appeared.

“I used 2 for my bow, quiver, and armor.”

“That is okay. If you need more, you can take them.”

Bello nodded and took two more. Kent pocketed the rest. He already knew

what to do with the rest.

“I will be heading to a dangerous place soon, so I want you to be on standby for

when I call for help.

“I will be ready, Master.”

Kent nodded.

Bello had already formed 5 Immortal Qi, so he is powerful enough to take on an

Immortal King and even an Immortal Emperor.

Once he is done handling matters with the Midnight Shadows, he will figure the

rest out as he goes. It is not that much of a struggle, considering he will be forming his second Flame Core before heading to Planet Brymrr.
