Chapter 1369 Memory Recap - Chaos
Chapter 1369 Memory Recap – Chaos
After analyzing the dream and making sense of what had happened, Kent decided to use the memory keys he had received so far.
He now has five each for Chaos, Jest, and Faceless, with two for the Ruthless Bandit.
Obviously, he would be reviewing the first three before diving into the life he had yet to know anything about.
He retrieved Chaos’s memory keys first. He would then go for Faceless’s memories next, the Jest. After that, the Ruthless Bandit’s memory would be reviewed.
The last time he recalled Chaos’s memories using the memory key, it ended with him entering seclusion, and Artemis choosing to protect him. That led to her death. Kent had yet to see how Chaos reacted to that, since the memory ended before he came out of seclusion
So he wanted to know and perhaps be able to see more into how her death had impacted him. He already knew what would happen with Hera, so he wanted to see how the brute reacted when his stalker was killed.
Kent activated the first key, knowing the tower would do the rest. As expected, he entered a hibernative state the moment the memory key was activated.
This shows he is either seeing the memories in the 3rd person or has possessed Chaos’s body to experience them firsthand. Either way, he remained in that state for five days, the tower activating three more memory keys, leaving only one.

[Recap]
Inside those memories, after Artemis was killed, the attackers found Chaos’s body and killed him. However, Chaos wasn’t in his body when they destroyed it.
He was having an enlightenment, so his consciousness was out of his body. This saved his life because when he woke up, he merely underwent his 3rd Dragon Tribulation.
Whenever he undergoes dragon tribulation, he sheds his scales and builds new ones. Since he had no body during the tribulation, the moment he passed, he received a new body.
This helped him survive what could have been his death.
When he received the new body, he initially thought Artemis had killed him. Of course, he was angry because she was the one who knew where he had gone into seclusion.
However, soon, he found out what had truly happened.
He found out that while he was in seclusion, he was attacked, and Artemis died defending him. Chaos tried not to feel anything at first. He tried to convince himself that he was stronger than these small emotions.
However, as the days passed, whenever he stopped to think, the face of the annoying lady who kept following him wherever he went always appeared in his mind.
Eventually, the primitive human emotions Elina wanted him to feel began to affect him.
He would find himself missing her all of a sudden. Eventually, it got worse when he finally came to the realization that Artemis was the kind of person Elina wanted in his life.
She told him to surround himself with people who love him. Artemis was that kind of person. However, just like with Elina, everything was over before he could realise it.
So with his emotions shattering yet again, he did what he does best: he channeled his pain into revenge, and for a year, over 3,000 people died, many regretting ever pointing their weapons at Artemis.
His massacre grew even more ferocious, so many people chose to run despite never having any dispute with him. Chaos was so destructive that he had killed many simply because they were in some way affiliated with the people who killed Artemis.
But while avenging her, his conflict with the Forsaken race was also the headline of every major event.
A few years after killing the Forsaken kings and avenging Artemis, his major break came when he received intel from the same strange person.
This intel pointed him to a small planet where the Forsaken race would be attacking next. Chaos got there before them, and when they came, none returned.
102,000 Forsaken beings died that day.
That massacre was one that finally sent a message to the Forsaken race, letting them know there was someone who wanted them dead.
And as expected of the Forsaken race, they sent everything after Chaos, hoping to kill him. Years passed, and while they came close to killing him many times, Chaos always found a way to survive every time, while taking thousands with him.
For 300 years, he had killed millions of forsaken beings and using their blood essence, he raised his strength to the point that even when he was at the Immortal King Stage, Immortal Lords were mere bugs before him.
He killed so much that, aside from the Forsaken race, the others started seeing him as a threat. In their eyes, someone like Chaos should be under heavy regulation. Allowing him to run around unchecked is too dangerous.
So they started coming after him, too. However, they soon realised the dragon was not someone they could easily provoke.
Of course, Chaos took no offense at their stupidity. However, he also didn’t allow them to mess with his vendetta.
Eventually, they started getting more aggressive, putting pressure on Chaos…
This caused him to start losing his hold on the Forsaken race to the point that one day, while he was trying to escape the assault of people he should have considered family and allies, an entire planet was destroyed by the Forsaken race.
That was when Chaos snapped and decided to turn his fury from the Forsaken race onto the Righteous Faction. However, this decision allowed the Forsaken race to plan well and ambush him.
The memory ended when Chaos was surrounded by 15 demigod Forsaken kings. He had just escaped the assault of the Righteous Faction when he was surrounded.
He knew the battle would be one he could not win. So from the start, he could only find a way to escape. The danger surrounding him is one he could never win.
“Reason why I hate those Righteous Factions, they use the pretense of wanting to make sure someone doesn’t become a threat later as an excuse to kill promising talents,” Kent gritted his teeth, his aura rising.
He saw all the Righteous Faction had done, and while he would love nothing more than to kill every last one of them, he was also now aware of the danger involved, and as such, he wanted nothing more than to see Chaos survive and come for revenge.
This means he must use the last memory Key.
“Those hateful bastards. If they dare try that nonsense with me this time around, I will kill every last one of them and make sure their bodies are used to create more capable warriors.”
Kent grabbed hold of the last memory key for Chaos and took a deep breath. He had just seen 380 years of Chaos’ life of pain and bloodshed.
Now, he wanted to see how he survived the ambush by 15 demigods while he was just an Immortal King.
He had no idea he would be ambushed, for he knew the location he was at wasn’t a place the Forsaken race would dare come.
However, they did, which now that he thinks about it sounds a bit fishy. So he wanted to find out more.
He pressed the memory key against his forehead, and his eyes rolled back…
