Kent clearly didn’t expect to see Yuna and her Primordial Flame Spirit standing before him.
Well, Yuna was clinging to him like a koala bear while Purity stood in front of him smiling.
This sight warmed his heart. He had just learned that his wives and legion came this close to death, filling his heart with anger and pain.
If the people who dared hurt them were ordinary folks in a high world, he would have long stormed there and killed everyone involved.
Thankfully, things were much more complex, so for now, he would hold on to his anger and wait for when he got his hands on them.
So now, meeting Yuna and Purity, his anger had calmed down considerably.
“What are you ladies doing here?” Kent asked, a mix of happiness and fear.
He knew coming to a high world was risky. Even an Immortal Lord could easily die since down here they lacked the immortal soul, body, and strength.
They would be regressed to mortals, leaving them vulnerable and extremely weak. So the two ladies whom he knew deep in his heart were as harmless as they come, most certainly would be prey for the picking.
Back in the Immortal World, Yuna and Purity rode on the fame and strength of Pill Immortal Nefeli to cause trouble and get away with it.
They had messed with countless immortals to the point that they wanted them dead. However, thanks to Nefeli, nobody dared touch them.
However, the moment they stepped out of the Immortal World, they ran the risk of dying. This scared Kent.
“Yuna and Purity miss Big Brother, and so they came looking for him. Is Big Brother not happy to see us again?” Yuna asked with a sad expression.
“No, I am happy seeing you two well and grown up. I miss you both.” Kent would be lying if he said he wasn’t happy to meet two of the people he met 370,000 years ago.
“Then why is Big Brother not smiling?”
Kent was forced to smile. This made Yuna very happy.
Vexthra smiled, watching this interaction. He most certainly knew Kent had finally met someone who could pull his strings like Li Hua used to do.
Now that Li Hua was busy training to become an assassin, she had no time to pull Kent’s strings, so Yuna would fill that role perfectly.
Kent spread his other arm for Purity, too, to come for a hug. She was part of Yuna, so in a way, they were the same person yet completely different.
“Let’s sit down first.”
Kent walked toward the table Vexthra was sitting at and sat down. Yuna and Purity pulled their chairs close to Kent and sat on either side, making sure a part of their body was touching his.
Kent could only smile inwardly and turn to Vexthra.
“How have you been?”
“I am fine, Kent. I am a goddess, so nothing can happen to me.”
“I know, but there is no harm in asking, I guess.”
Vexthra smiled, and so did Kent. After checking up on her, he turned to Yuna. “What about you two? How have you been treating yourselves?”
“We miss Big Brother. It has been many years since we last saw you. You said you would only be gone for a while, but Purity said many centuries had passed already.”
Purity nodded.
Kent shook his head. To him, a while was a few months. But to them, it had already been 370,000 years. That was a long time for someone who wanted to spend time with her big brother.
“Sorry, ladies, I was held up by something.”
“It is okay, Big Brother. Now that we are here, we are okay. No need to feel sad.”
Kent nodded.
“How is your big sister?”
Yuna sighed and answered, “Big sister left a couple of months ago for a distant place I have no idea about. It seems it has something to do with your name appearing on the Sword Dao Tablet.”
“Is she in any danger?”
“No. Big sister is a sword immortal; unless anyone is stupid, then coming against her is their own downfall.”
Kent smiled. “So she has revealed her true nature, huh?”
“Yes. Big sister is feared by many. All those who came after her died in the most painful way possible. They all fear her, and so they would be stupid if they dared come against her on her travels.”
“Good to hear that.” Kent seemed pleased to hear Nefeli was fine. He had already suspected her to be much more dangerous, but he never expected to hear that immortals feared her.
’I guess I underestimated her too much back then,’ he thought
“How about the others?” Since Nefeli was fine, he then wanted to find out about the others.
“Big sister parted ways with the others many years back; however, she has been in contact with them. The last I heard, Big sister Sylvara had returned home since her mother had become a god.
Also, Big sister Veth and Lady Wu have become big shots in the immortal worlds. They are both influential and extremely rich. Purity and I tried to go see them many times, but Big sister didn’t allow us.
As for Big sister Flura, she is now a Pill Immortal who is making waves in the Pill World. I learned she is having her fair share of troubles, but Big sister Ursa is protecting her, so nothing to worry about there.”
“As for the others, I have no idea how they are doing.”
“Thank you, Yuna. I will go see them when I find a way to get to the Immortal World. For now, you must stay here and don’t go out.”
“Don’t worry, Big Brother. We have no plans to go anywhere,” Purity said with a smile. “This place is amazing, and since you are here, we will spend as much time as we can with you.”
Kent nodded and turned to Vexthra. “Take care of them for me. I still have some things to handle, so I will be gone for a while.”
Vexthra nodded with a calm smile. “Don’t worry. I will make sure everything is handled. And you shouldn’t be worried about my sisters and the legion. Uncle Drew is out there looking for ways to save them.”
Kent nodded and then turned to Yuna and Purity. “Spend time with Big sister Vexthra for now while I handle some personal business. I promise I will spend some time with you once I am done.”
Now that they are with their big brother, there is no way they would mind if he left for another hundred thousand years. As long as they are within his domain, they are fine.
“We will wait for you, Big Brother. And once Big Brother Uncle Drew brings the herbs, we will concoct Tier 18 pills for everyone.” Yuna looked at Kent with a smug expression.
“In case Big Brother is not aware, I am a Pill Divine, just one step away from becoming a Pill Immortal.”
Kent just smiled, already aware of Yuna’s true nature. As a Divine Pill Body, she was only destined to become a good alchemist. So hearing she had become a Pill Divine didn’t come as a shock to him.
“I will be counting on you then to give me some pointers when I am out of seclusion.”
Yuna puffed her chest and replied, “Big Brother shouldn’t worry. I will help Big Brother.”
Kent nodded, and then, after a few minutes of catching up, he left to continue his training. However, before he got to it, he had to resurrect his undead warriors.
