Chapter 1141: Destiny Map
Chapter 1141: Destiny Map
Kent has a lot to do now that he has arrived in the High World.
His mom’s health issue is one of many, so now that he knows he can’t help his mom as soon as he expected, he has decided to handle what he can while in the High World.
The first thing on his timeline is using the Destiny Map.
Kent quickly retrieves a scroll that is completely blank and unfurls it. This scroll is the Destiny Map, an item that would allow him to find anything and anyone as long as they share a common destiny.
He received this item as a reward in the quest that required him to kill the Planet King. Since he accomplished that, the item is now his.
It was as if the universe knew what he wanted, and so they gave him a way to get it.
As Kent held the blank scroll, the only thought filling his mind was finding Elina.
His one true love, who died during the Primordial Era before he learned to love and reciprocate her feelings, is the only person he now wants to find.
The scroll can be used one at a time.
This means that if he uses it on Elina, he cannot use it again until it leads him to her. Naturally, Kent didn’t care. The earlier he finds Elina, the better.
So he bit his finger and focused on Elina’s name before dropping his blood on the scroll. He doesn’t care if she is in a medium world, a high world, an immortal world, or even a Supreme world.
As long as she had reincarnated—which Kent believed she had—then he would find her no matter what.
The moment he did, the scroll glowed faintly a few times before lines started appearing on it.
As the lines spread, they began to take shape, forming an intricate map. Kent relaxed and waited with bated breath as he watched the changes happen.
A couple of minutes later, the map formed, and Kent could see a red dot appear somewhere on it.
“Tower, project the map in 3D.”
The Tower obeyed, and soon, a 3D map that led to one of his destinations appeared in the air. Kent focused on the location of the red dot.
However, only a single name was written there.
“Tenebral Crown,” he read the name with a frown. This is his first time hearing such a word or perhaps a name.
However, he didn’t think for long.
“Tenebral Crown, you say.”Dori suddenly appeared behind Kent and took his hand. She was a Mind Weaver, and as someone connected to Kent’s mind, she knew when the Chaos Dragon needed help, so she came to assist.
“Do you know where it is located?” Kent asked, knowing only a cosmic being could help him at this point.
Dori nodded and first zoomed out on the map, making the red dot vanish from sight. However, a few more objects appeared. Most of them were rings, with some stars, moons, and even odd shapes that shouldn’t be on a map.
“All these are galaxies,” Dori said, pointing at these odd shapes. “Tenebral Crown is the skull shape on the map, and this galaxy we are in is the ring shape.
It is called Nebulous Cluster. As you can see, it is much closer to Tenebral Crown now that I have zoomed out.”
Kent nodded, now having some understanding of the map.
“This means to get the specific location of this red dot, you must travel to the Tenebral Crown Galaxy. Then, find the star system in which the dot is located.
Afterwards, you find the planetary system and the planet it is located on, and you will find the person there.”
Kent sighed deeply, seeing he had a very long journey ahead of him. However, knowing Elina is alive is a relief.
’At least she had reincarnated just like how I suspected. Nowever, how is she faring? Is she having a good life? Does she have friends like she did back during the primordial’
Kent smiled, recalling the many friends Elina introduced him to. He hated most of them; a part of him, despite his emotionless nature, wanted to make Elina happy, so he put on an act and ensured all her friends had a good time with them.
The years they spent travelling, she made so many friends that even Kent couldn’t count them.
’She has her way with people, and that is why the ladies are going to love her.’
Dori saw the smile on his face and smiled in return. “You will need a lot of money to go on this long trip. You will also face so many challenges, so prepare for them now.
I will let Gaia tinker with this map and find some shortcuts that will hasten your trip.”
Kent nodded and then asked an important question. “How long do you think it will take me to travel to this galaxy?” Kent asked, pointing at Tenebral Crown.
“I can’t say for sure, but judging by how fast planetary travel has become now, reaching there within 50 years is possible.
But then again, this is the universe; you might just face some challenges that will delay you considerably or meet good fortunes that will hasten it for you.
Naturally, my sisters and I will do our best to ensure you get there much faster.”
“Thank you, Dori.”
The Mind Weaver nodded and soon vanished with the map. Kent then focused his attention on the 3D projections and sat down to think.
A couple of minutes later, his sword appeared and transformed into its human form. Gaap then sat beside Kent and also started looking at the map.
“It will be a long journey for sure,” Gaap said, looking at the distance between the Nebulous Cluster and Tenebral Crown.
“There is no doubt about that, Gaap. However, no matter the distance, danger, or setbacks, I will never stop until I reach my destination.”
Gaap nodded. “I will be right beside you. No matter the danger, we will face them with everything we’ve got.”
The universe is vast and dangerous, after all. Kent may be strong, but he is not invincible. So even he would have to be careful when traversing the harrowing corners of the universe.
“When do you plan on embarking on this journey?”
“As early as possible. I have no idea how the person I am going to is faring, so the earlier I leave, the better. However, before leaving, I want to form my second blood core gate and handle some minor tasks first.
It will take me a couple of years, but since time inside the Tower is much faster than the outside world, we will be leaving in a couple of months.”
“In that case, I will go prepare then.” Gaap stood up and stretched.
Although he is a sword, he is no ordinary sword, so stretching is normal.
“Do your best, Gaap. We will keep growing as we embark on the journey, so do what you can do now.”
Gaap nodded and entered Kent’s soul sea. After he was gone, Kent turned to the Tower.
“Tower, I want you to pick the worlds I have been to and recorded on the Planet Teleporter. Then map them in the direction that leads to the edge of this galaxy.
Also, if you can locate the Sword Worlds, do the same thing with them. Right now, I need to be able to move closer to the edge of this galaxy with a few clicks of a button.”
⟦I will get on that now⟧
“Thank you, Tower.” Kent stood up from the sword and teleported away, stopping in front of the Sword of Enlightenment.
He went into a lotus posture and took a deep breath. ’Too bad I can’t use the Starbound Compass.’
The compass he used to travel to Vexthra’s domain back then would have worked in this situation; however, using it runs the risk of weakening the very fabric of the universe.
If the creations of the dark sense the fabric thinning, they will surely force their way through, and that will be catastrophic for Kent and everyone.
So for now, he must do it the hard way.
’Let me focus on my cultivation then. My target is to form the second blood core gate. I will handle everything else after that.’
Kent waved his hand, and thousands of Blood Essences appeared in the air. He then began absorbing them to form his blood core.
