Chapter 1139: Migration
Chapter 1139: Migration
Kent pulls his wives, his mom, Adina, Lyna, and Priestess Runa into the tower to see the city Gaia and her sisters had built.
Kent didn’t lie when he said Gaia and her sisters are the best and most qualified people to build cities in the tower. They pulled it off with Gaiaville and did the same thing with Blood City.
Now, they had done it again with the new Elven City.
The moment they arrived in the tower city, a majestic, nature-inspired city stood before them, painting the scenery with both elegance and peace.
All of them had different yet shocked and stunned expressions appear on their faces.
Kent and his mom, who were from Earth, had seen some fictional Elven cities in movies and knew Gaia and her sisters had outdone themselves this time.
It’s as if they had tapped into their genius and brought out a different type of city this time.
The first thing everybody noticed was two large trees standing tall and proud. They’ve been grown and designed to act as the City Entrance.
A jade glass path suspended in the air led to the city, where buildings made from both jade and plants were scattered throughout in perfect alignment and design.
Glass and jade buildings rose from the ground, towering above even some of the trees. There are calm and serene waterfalls pouring from small pebbles and even through the branches of some trees.
Of course, as elves, Gaia and her sisters knew they would love to be in the embrace of nature.
Most of the buildings were designed to from the trunks of colossal trees, literally allowing them to evoke a sense of nature.
The luminous ambiance of nature lit up the city, sun rays filtering through the leaves giving it a natural glow and filling it with a wealth of healing and natural energy.
“This is beautiful,” Lady Enyo muttered, mesmerized by how beautiful the city looked.
“It is indeed beautiful.” Kent couldn’t deny it. He looked at Gaia and her sisters, who winked at him.
They had taken the city design to a whole different level.
“Wait for the best part,” Gaia said as she and her sisters clapped their tiny hands and shouted, “Rise.”
The moment they did, a large tree rose from the ground somewhere at the center of the city and slowly rose into the air. The elves immediately widened their eyes when they saw this tree.
“That is the World Tree,” Priestess Runa muttered, her expression filled with shock.
“That is indeed true. We decided to give you a World Tree where all your lives will be tied to it. Of course, it will need a priestess who actually links the life of every elf to it.
However, once it is done, you will begin to enjoy the benefits the World Tree has to offer your people. You wouldn’t have to depend on Mother Nature directly from now onwards.”
The World Tree is something that all elves respect and value above all else. To them, the World Tree is the source of their longevity and strength.
It is what makes them who they are, and so, under no circumstances would they do anything without consulting it.
In essence, most say as long as the World Tree stands, the elven race will never die. That, in a way, is true, so every elf race would, without a doubt, be pleased to have its own World Tree.
Gaia and her sisters managed to get one for them, and now, the Galen Elven race will have their own fate in their hands. They would no longer depend on anyone.
“Thank you,” Lady Enyo said, looking at her son. Kent could see she was emotional right now, so he just nodded and let her have this moment.
To her, the Galen Elves are her family, too. She had been with them for the past 5,000 years.
So this was something she seemed happy about, and the fact that her son was responsible for it all made her extremely proud of him and very happy as well.
“Not only is the spiritual qi here denser, but the air is also clean, and just standing here seems to have calmed me down considerably. This place is a haven for everyone who seeks peace.”
Gaia and her sisters smiled, hearing Lyna’s words. “We have put more work into making sure every soul that will be living in the city never dreams of leaving.
We want them to live here for generations to come. Of course, when they find out the cultivation gardens will help them grow 24 times faster, I am sure they will be more pleased to never want to leave.”
Adina and the ladies who are unfamiliar with the tower’s true advantage turn and look at Kent. They want to hear from him first before they believe something as ridiculous as a 24-times boost in growth.
“They are not lying. The cultivation gardens run at different times. The 24 days spent there are 1 day spent in the city. So, in a way, what you can achieve in a day on the outside can be achieved 24 times faster inside the cultivation gardens.”
The ladies could only turn and stare back at the three lolis. Gaia adjusted her small glasses and winked at them, while Akira and Dori gave them the “no need to thank us, we are just that awesome” look.
Kent smirked and chose to handle the next most important part.
“How are we going to name it?” He turned to Priestess Runa, who also turned to Lady Enyo.
“You are the priestess, so give it a name.”
“This…” Priestess Runa thought for a moment before a name popped into her mind. As the Priestess, she most certainly has the right to name the city
“How about we call it Nature City from now on?”
Although she made it sound like a question, everyone didn’t really care what it was called, as long as the people living there were happy.
So they nodded to the name she suggested, and that is how the new home for the Galen Elves would be called from now onwards.
With that settled, the only thing left to do was begin the migration.
“I guess it is time we move the elves here. We will soon be having visitors now that Kaizo and the others are out there making waves. So I want everyone inside the tower before they arrive.”
The fact that his name had started spreading didn’t mean he must meet all of them. If he were to meet a few while he explored the universe, that would be fine, but for now, he had things to take care of, and waiting to say hi to his potential stalkers wasn’t one of them.
Soon, under the guidance of Kent and his women, the elves started entering the tower.
The tower could have just teleported all of them inside; however, Kent wanted them to walk into their new home with their own two legs, so he summoned portals for them.
They didn’t even have to wait too long before the millions of elves entered and started settling in. As expected, they were captivated by the city’s beauty.
Once they all settled in, Kent left with his mom to go have dinner with Elaine’s parents. It was almost time for dinner, and they had promised to come.
Vexthra and the rest choose to stay and ensure that all arrangements to keep everyone sustained were put in place.
Gaia, Akira, and Dori also stayed to add some finishing touches to a few things and plan how to implement the currency system so people could live in a more civilized economy.
More cities would be added soon, and one day, Tower City would be transformed into Tower World. Therefore, establishing a way to regulate it was the path forward now.
