Chapter 1134: Catching Up
Chapter 1134: Catching Up
Kent allowed himself to calm down first before considering what all this meant.
’So, mother is on the run from her enemies. Thankfully, she managed to find a place to hide and recover from her injuries. However, she is also now exposed, considering this battle has drawn attention.
Mainly, because my name will soon spread, and if linked to the Galen Elven kingdom, all the Elves will be in trouble.
Thankfully, I have the tower and the tower points to accommodate them. That is one issue solved. Now, I have found a way to cure her and take her back home.
Naturally, she would love that, considering no immortal would like to run from trouble, especially an Elf who is also an immortal Monarch. Her pride will now allow her to run.’
Kent sighed and then lay his head on his mom’s shoulder, asking, “Mom, do you want to go back home?”
“Of course. I want to kill those bastards with my own two hands… I will kill them and their entire generation for thinking they can come against me and go scot-free.”
Kent smiled. ’Ah, she never changes, huh?’
Of course, the mother he knew was a mundane, but she takes her threats very seriously. He remembered his sophomore year when he was bullied by Big Billie.
When his mom found out, she stormed Big Bill’s dad’s firm and threatened to burn the poor man’s scrotum with a blowtorch.
The next day, Big Billie was transferred, and that was the last time anyone dared mess with him in that school.
Hearing her words and knowing she now had the power, he had no doubt that she would indeed go through with it.
’She never changes.’
“You will get your revenge because I will make sure of it. However, let’s focus on what we can handle first, and that is finding out what happened to your heart and how to cure it.”
Lady Enyo nodded and was about to speak when Kaizo appeared in the tower.
“Kaizo, buddy, what is wrong?” Kent asked, seeing the battle-mad undead standing before them.
Kaizo looked at Lady Enyo for a couple of seconds and then smiled. “Nice meeting you, Mother. I am Kaizo, the one who kept him alive all these years.”
Kent clearly didn’t see that coming, so his brows furrowed on their own.
“Thank you, Kaizo. I appreciate you protecting my son. He can be hotheaded sometimes, but seeing him alive and well, I have no doubt you did an amazing job.”
“Thank you, Mother.” Kaizo grinned and then turned to Kent. “Oh, we have killed all the scums, and Lady Neomi suggested we expand the horizon, so we are going to the Ice Demon Kingdom next and make sure all parties involved are handled. Then we will go to the Flame Human Nation to handle them too.
Afterwards, we will head to Planet Vornix to exterminate those horny bastards and the long ears… no, no offense, Mother.”
“None taken.”
Kaizo smiled and asked, “Of course, the innocent will be spared. So what do you think?”
Kent was still in shock, so he said nothing. Naturally, this was a mistake…
“Wonderful. They mostly say silence means yes, so see you later, master.”
With that, the undead bastard teleported back to the outside world, and soon, he led the legion and Kent’s wives away to commit mass massacre.
“Who is that? He is a delight, almost like a more muscular version of you,” Lady Enyo said, causing Kent’s mouth to twitch.
“I am nothing like Kaizo.”
Of course, that is a lie. Kent created Kaizo based on his own personality. He is unyielding, battle-hungry, and very adamant about seeing the matter to an end.
He knew he would have made the same decision Kaizo made, even if he used Neomi’s name to ask, knowing Kent would soften and approve his request if it was from his wives.
However, he would have probably killed billions if he had been too late to his mom’s rescue.
Lady Enyo seemed to be enjoying the myriad of expressions on Kent’s face. “You know, before we talk about my issues, how about you tell me about your life?”
Lady Enyo asked, and Kent could only sigh.
Kaizo was just too unyielding. However, he knew it had to be done, since these people had dared to come after his mother and her people.
They’d crossed a line, and so they must pay the consequences.
Kent pulled his mind back to his mom’s request, and so he decided to tell her what had happened to him after she died.
He told her everything, from how he earned his degree and PhD in computer science and engineering. However, instead of working on solving the world’s problems, he decided to become a movie director.
This point took his mom aback; however, as someone who had always wanted her son to be happy, she knew that if movie-making was what made him happy, she was more than happy for him.
Then he told her about the many awards he won. However, he excluded the part where he pivoted to directing adult films and even started his own adult movie studio, which ultimately led to his death.
Of course, he made sure she understood that he was murdered by a jealous and overly competitive rival.
Then, just when he thought his life had come to a bitter end, he got a second chance at life, where he got to have all he couldn’t have on Earth.
By the time Kent ended his narrative, Lady Enyo was hugging his arm tightly.
“I am sorry, Kent. I had no idea you had it that bad after I died.”
“Nothing to worry about, Mom. You did your best for me, and that was what helped me keep moving even after you were gone. If anything, I should be thanking you for giving me an amazing life. Not many get to have an amazing mother like you.”
Lady Enyo nodded. She had missed her son so much, even if she had just remembered him. To someone who had lived for thousands of years, it felt like she hadn’t seen him in thousands of years.
That was a very long time for someone to be apart from their loved ones.
“So you have wives, huh?” Of course, hearing he had wives made her happy. He never got to have that in his life on Earth, so hearing he was living a good life now made her happy.
“Yes. I have 19 of them now, but more will be added soon.”
Lady Enyo smirked. “I suppose Adina is one of the ’soon,’ huh?”
“That is only natural.”
“Tch.” The woman smirked, but she was genuinely happy for her son.
“I want to meet them,” she requested, and Kent nodded in agreement.
“You will, when they are done releasing their anger on the bastards who dare hurt their mother-in-law.”
Talk about leaving a good impression. Naturally, there was nothing better than going on a revenge killing for one’s mother-in-law after she had nearly died at the hands of the enemy.
That would certainly give them a good score.
Even Vexthra, who was a goddess, was out there making sure she also scored some brownie points by helping the elves migrate into the tower.
Kent scoffed, “You three do know we can see you hiding behind the tree, right?”
Gaia, Dori, and Akira poked their heads from behind a tree and looked at Kent and his mom. When Lady Enyo saw the three troublemakers, her expression brightened.
“Who are these adorable little nuggets?”
