Pregnant Cultivator, Doted by Big Boss
Chapter 649 - 647: A Very Suitable Place to Live
Chapter 649: Chapter 647: A Very Suitable Place to Live
Puffs of black mist coalesced in the air, transforming one by one into black wintergourds. The wintergourds floated there, waving their little hands with glee as they flew back and forth above the mountain range.
Bullfrog and Tadpole shot over to Aaron Sinclair, hugging each other in excitement.
Tadpole said, "Lush mountains and pristine waters. I love this place."
Bullfrog nodded enthusiastically. "I love it, too! Spirit Fruits and Spiritual Medicines will grow so well here. Master, is this our new home? I’m going to claim a thousand acres for myself and plant them all with Spirit Fruits."
The other clan members chimed in happily.
"We love it, too!"
"Master, Master, is this really our new home? My hoe is practically trembling with anticipation! I want to start tilling the soil!"
Pip, who was right beside Aaron Sinclair, stared with wide eyes. "Master... is this place for us, the Shadowmist Clan, to live in?"
Aaron Sinclair glanced at Pip. He reached out, patted the little gourd’s head, and gave a slight nod. He then gestured expansively and said, "Pip, this entire mountain range and everything else you can see from here will belong to the Wintergourd Clan from now on."
Pip’s eyes widened, and he couldn’t help but gasp. He wiped away a bead of sweat and stammered, "All... all of this is for us? Master, isn’t this too extravagant? We just need a place to live." In his entire life, he had never seen, let alone farmed, such a bountiful land.
Even the land their Master had found for them back in the Cunmere Realm was less than a tenth of this size. Now that their territory had suddenly expanded so much, he was finding it hard to process.
Aaron Sinclair rested his hand on Pip’s head. "You’re with me now, Pip. How could I let you go without land to farm? Look, this entire mountain range is yours for the taking. From now on, plant what you want, where you want. It’s all up to you."
Pip was overwhelmed with emotion, his eyes welling with tears. He was so choked up he could barely speak. "Master, you’re too good to us. I... We don’t know how we can ever repay you."
From the very beginning, their Shadowmist Clan would have been annihilated if not for their Master. It was his constant protection that had allowed them to survive. And now, he had found them a perfect new home. The wonderful life the Shadowmist Clan could now live was all thanks to their Master’s grace.
Pip’s fellow clansmen heard this as well.
They, too, were moved to tears, gazing at him with expressions of utter respect and adoration. With looks like those, if Aaron Sinclair were to order them to die, these wintergourds likely wouldn’t hesitate for a second.
"Master."
"Thank you, Master."
"Long live our Master!"
"Long live our Master!"
"Thank you for your grace, Master!"
Aaron Sinclair raised a hand to quiet them.
The wintergourds of the Shadowmist Clan fell silent. Every pair of eyes was fixed on him, eagerly awaiting his next words.
Aaron Sinclair cleared his throat. "Alright, the Wintergourd Clan will make its home here from now on. This land is part of my Demonic Domain, so you will be able to live and work in peace. No one will cause you any trouble. The Defense Array you brought over from the Cunmere Realm can still be used here. Also..." He paused and held out his hand.
A box radiating a frosty aura appeared in his palm, and he opened it. A bone-chilling cold instantly made every wintergourd’s eyes go wide. Yet, within that extreme cold was a faint, life-giving warmth. This was Ancient Frost Essence.
"Ancient Frost Essence?"
This was a treasure that their Wintergourd Clan—no, the Shadowmist Clan—could not hope to see in a thousand lifetimes. Every single wintergourd, from the highest to the lowest, stared wide-eyed at the Ancient Frost Essence in Aaron Sinclair’s hand. To think they would be able to see such a priceless treasure in their lifetime.
Even Pip couldn’t help but gasp.
"This... Master, this is Ancient Frost Essence."
Aaron Sinclair nodded slightly. "Mhm," he affirmed. "Didn’t I tell you? I said I’d show you something special once your Cultivation recovered. Here, take a look. Ancient Frost Essence. With this, your clan will have an inexhaustible supply of Spiritual Liquid to drink. If you can’t drink it all, it would be great for watering the crops, too."
An inexhaustible supply of Spiritual Liquid... SLURP.
Whose drool was that?
It was his. And his. It was all of theirs.
Using the leftovers to water the fields was far too extravagant. Still, it was a viable idea. A few extremely precious types of Spiritual Medicine couldn’t grow in warm climates; they preferred frigid weather. With this, they could even grow some out-of-season Spiritual Medicines.
’No, that’s not right. How could we even think of that?’ That was Spiritual Liquid, something that could raise their Cultivation when drunk. They couldn’t even imagine using it to water the fields. There was never enough to drink, so how could there ever be any left over for irrigation?
Aaron Sinclair’s figure hovered in the air as his gaze swept over the mountain range below. He chose a spot in a deep hollow, formed a hand seal, and the Ancient Frost Essence in the box instantly shot toward it.
He drew a rune in the air and thrust his hand forward, driving the Ancient Frost Essence deep into the earth. At that very moment, water began to well up from the bottom of the hollow. A white mist rose from the surface, and in the blink of an eye, a pool had formed. The ground around the pool was immediately coated in a layer of frost. This phenomenon was confined to this one spot, however; the rest of the area remained lush, warm, and pleasant.
Aaron Sinclair said, "Alright, you can all live here from now on!"
Seeing this, Pip knelt in midair and bowed his head solemnly to Aaron Sinclair. "On behalf of all my kin," he said, "I, Pip, thank you for your benevolence, Master."
And it wasn’t just Pip.
His fellow clan members also knelt, one after another. The air and ground were filled with wintergourds, all of them bowing in pious reverence.
"Thank you, Master."
"We swear our undying loyalty to you, Master! We would go through fire and water for you without a moment’s hesitation!"
Seeing this, Aaron Sinclair waved his hand. "Everyone, rise! Go on, hurry up and build your new home."
At his words, all the wintergourds answered in unison.
"Yes, Master!"
"We’ll get right to it, Master!"
Bullfrog and Tadpole waved.
"Construction of the new Undercity begins now! Let’s go, everyone!"
As soon as the words were spoken, their bodies took flight, instantly dissolving into puffs of black mist that shot downward. In a flash, they had disappeared into the mountain range, all of them excited to start building their new home and embrace a brand-new future.
All the wintergourds of the Shadowmist Clan had gone, but Pip remained. He flew beside Aaron Sinclair.
"Master, thank you."
Aaron Sinclair waved his sleeve dismissively.
"There’s nothing to thank me for. Let’s go. My mother’s calling me home for dumplings. You should come back with me, Pip. The elders are here, so you don’t need to worry about a thing."
