Elias’s POV

How I ended up with my back against the headboard of my bed is beyond me.

The night quickly bleeds into the morning and as always, I only fall asleep for twenty minutes every two hours

I try to sleep, but the darkness and the need to keep my eyes on Noah eats at me like a disease.

He twitches in his sleep and I growl quietly, unhappy with the unintelligible conversations he’s having in his sleep.

Is he dreaming of that man, Roman Stiles?

Isn’t it fortunate that the man I am going on hunt for is the same man Noah ’should have married’?

I will make him eat those words.

The wall clock strikes five and I get out of bed. My bag is packed with my clothes, my underwear, my shoes and Noah’s shoes.

Those are the only things we need.

"Noah, get up" I order and he doesn’t move. Instead, he burrows into the sheet as if he’s looking for something.

Is this the elegant prince they claim?

"Noah" I say his name again and he turns to the side, sticking his ass out and humming in response to my call.

"Hmm?"

"Get up"

"Don’t wanna get up" he mumbles.

I wait for familiar irritation to rise in my chest. There is none. And I stare at him longer for the feeling to come, still, nothing follows.

My chest is instead, filling itself up with a foreign feeling, something disgustingly similar to pleasure.

"Get up now" I say in a firmer tone and he sits up.

The omega looks around the room and rubs his eyes.

His golden hair is sticking up at odd angle. My black silk shirt is falling off his shoulder. There’s a trail of dried drool on his cheek and he’s pouting.

Yes, pouting.

"But it’s still night, the sun is asleep" he says in a whining tone, and the disgusting feeling of pleasure swells...fucking swells.

I grab him by the arm and drag him out of the bed. The omega whines but says nothing coherent enough to make me stop.

He stays half asleep as I undress him, and he stays that way as I hold him under the shower.

I keep my jaw clenched as beads of water slide down his chest. Trailing over his tight nipple and down his soft stomach. This temptation is at five thirty a.m.

"Cold" he complains without opening his eyes and I glare at him.

The temperature is the one I am accustomed to, but I change it for his sake. The omega stays half-asleep even when I dress him in my clothes.

"Walk" I tell him after dressing him up and when we’re ready to leave.

"No...too sleepy" he says and without knocking, Kai peeks into the room, blonde hair falling over his forehead as he takes in my position.

"Is he dead yet?" my younger brother asks and I greet him with a flat stare.

"The car is ready, Damien is already impatient" he says and I nod, sweeping Noah off his feet and carrying him bridal style.

"Gently" he says, pressing his nose to neck.

"I knew one of us was doomed to having a creepy relationship like our parents’; I never expected it to be you" he says.

"Get out of my way" I growl and he gives me a grin before leaving.

My parents’ relationship with each other is nothing similar to my relationship with Noah.

Their relationship is built on years of love, blood, and sacrifices. My relationship with Noah is captor to captive, nothing more.

We arrive outside to meet the waiting car, and I’m immediately annoyed by the setting.

"Why one car?"

"Because mother said so, fucking get in. Is he dead yet?" Damien asks and Noah mumbles against my chest.

"We can’t use one car"

"You can fuck your husband in the back seat; Kai’s virgin ass wouldn’t mind" Damien says with less patience in his tone.

"Fuck you" Kai throws his way.

I tip my head towards the dark sky and curse the day my mother chose to add two more children to his first son.

"Tick tock, pocket watch, the trip won’t wait for us" Damien says with bare concealed anger, and I get in.

An angry Damien means danger.

Lucas joins us on the trip. He sits in the passenger seat, Damien sits behind the wheel, Kai sits next to me, and Noah stays put on my lap.

The trip starts like every other murder trip with a murder plan.

"A wise man once said breakfast is the perfect time to wreak havoc" Damien says with false humor, tapping his fingertips.

He’s furious about something.

"I wouldn’t call dad a wise man" Kai mutters.

"I’ll report this statement back to Siren" Lucas says and Kai gives him a glare.

"We arrive before they have breakfast, we don’t kill anyone. Damien, Lucas, we won’t kill anyone" I emphasize and Damien’s restless tapping increases.

He’s getting more impatient.

"What’s going on?" Noah asks, opening his eyes for the first time after three hours despite the noise and chaos in the car.

"Roman" I say, and that one word is enough to wake my possession up.

"R-Roman?" Noah stutters, sitting up and looking at me like I murdered his favorite pet.

"Yes, we’re going to see Roman" I say and the omega slowly creeps out of my lap. I let him leave.

He sits between Kai and I with his hands between his legs and his eyes staring blankly ahead.

I will give anything to know what is going on in his head, but I don’t ask questions.

I watch, I wait and I conclude.

We arrive at the Stiles home and after a few resistance that Damien gladly puts down, we make our way into the building.

Noah refuses to come, but I drag him in. I will fucking collar him one day if I have to.

As expected, the family is sitting at the table, their father, mother, oldest siter, and Roman...

Noah moves to hide behind me and I let him.

"Honey, look!" the wife screams and the oldest Stiles gets up, cheek full of his breakfast.

Good, in case he dies, he dies full.

"Deus! What is the meaning of this?" their father asks, spitting crumbs of bread like an animal.

"Sit, Stiles" I order him like a dog.

His son, my real target, doesn’t react.

"Security" he barks and thirty men run out with their loaded guns. At the sound of the cocking weapons Noah gasps.

"Stand down" I say loudly and raise my hand.

"Have you met my husband, Noah Deus?" I pull Noah out with a smirk, watching the tiny reaction on Roman Stiles’ face.

Surprise. Affection. Desire.

He is not making it out alive.
