Chapter 200: Beauty and the beast

Noah’s POV

"Uh...Elias?" I whisper and hold on to the back of his shirt. We’re finally in south Korea, and I have come to a life changing decision. I really need to stop offering to go anywhere with these barbarians.

All they know to do is visit places unannounced and cause problems. We haven’t even gone three steps past the gate and we’re already being ambushed.

"I’ll go speak with him" Kai says to Elias and goes forward to meet the gigantic man with a gun. Goddess...I have never ever seen anyone who looks so much like a bear. He’s bigger than Damien is. He looks older but impossibly handsome and clean-shaven.

This man will definitely shoot us. I can’t believe I will end up dying before I’d even get the chance to meet my pup. Why...why...why?

The man’s foxlike eyes are fixed on Elias like he has a personal beef with him.

I move closer to Elias, it’s my quiet way of protecting my mate, and my own way to make sure this man knows that Elias is not alone. "Why is he looking at you like he wants to tear you to shreds?" I whisper.

"Damien" Elias says and I don’t find any sense in the response.

"Damien?" I repeat.

"Damien wouldn’t stop talking about the man’s omega during the first time we visited" Elias explains and I groan. That is such a Damien thing to do. He goes about flirting and making the crudest comments.

"His big mouth will get him in trouble one day" I say angrily under my breath and Elias puts his arm around me. I lean into him and watch as Kai talk to the man in Korean. Even Kai’s height has nothing on the man’s build.

My eyes subconsciously trace the tattoo peeking through his black shirt. Hostility aside, this man is very good looking. He has the kind of build you see in those manhwa comics. My eyes move down to his hand and Elias growls.

My husband pulls me even closer to his side, and I look up at his face in confusion.

"What?" I ask.

"Stop looking at Kang Taesan like that" he says possessively and I blush. I cannot help but look at him, this Kang Taesan man is too attractive.

From here I see the aggressive expression on his face and when he moves forward like he’d hit Kai, I whimper. Kai pulls out a gun, and the man’s scowl deepens. He’s going to kill my baby brother-in-law.

The man takes another step forward and the front door opens behind him. I stop breathing for a second as a smallish man steps out. The new man has pretty brown hair and even with the distance between us, I can see how pretty his doe-like eyes are.

I expect the big man to turn his aggression on the poor guy, but Taesan looks at the man, and his expression instantly turns into a smitten cat’s.

Huh?

Kang Taesan puts his arm around the smaller man to bring him forward, and that’s when I see his belly...he’s pregnant.

"He’s pregnant" I whisper in awe and Elias nods.

"That’s Kang Taesan’s mate. Shin Seoha" he introduces them and I purr softly at the sight of the omega. He’s really beautiful. He looks so soft and captivating, like he was made to be painted by hundreds of people.

I’ve never seen anyone else who I want to baby so bad.

Seoha talks to his mate in front of Kai, and the aggressive man slowly calms down. How is Seoha not terrified of that big man? Goddess knows I’m seconds away from peeing my pants.

"Updates, Malachi" Elias calls, and Kang Taesan looks in our direction again.

"We’re allowed to come in with no weapons" Kai yells back to us and I reluctantly follow my husband. I’m still scared of that big guy. I feel like he’d accidentally swing his hand in my direction and I’d go flying in the other direction.

"Hi, I’m Noah" I say softly in English and while Taesan eyes me up like I’m a threat, his mate gives me a shy smile.

"You have ten minutes to give a valid reason to let you sit" Taesan says in English to us.

"My mate is pregnant" Elias says in a clipped tone and Taesan’s near-black eyes flicker to me. "Do I look like I give a fuck?" he asks in a gravelly voice and I whimper.

Okay, I want to go home now. I’ve had enough. Let’s go on the private jet and fly back to Gottingen.

The omega tugs on Taesan’s shirt and the man bends his hips to hear what his mate has to say.

"He’s asking Taesan why you’re uncomfortable and now he’s scolding Taesan" Elias says to me and my lips form an ’O’. Why is he so cute? I hope Taesan won’t crush me for wanting to be friends with his mate.

"Come sit. One inconvenient thing will lead to this meeting’s end" Taesan says in English and I nod like I’m a part of it all.

The couple takes us further into the house and then leads us to a large living area. Wow. The house is really impressive and looks very lively.

Taesan sits in the single seater with difficulty and Seoha watches him with soft adoration in his eyes.

The tenderness between the rugged alpha and the beautiful omega feels like attending a real-life performance of beauty and the beast. Except that, beast is actually a hot tattooed man, and beauty is a pregnant omega man.

"Shall we speak business, Kang?" my husband asks as we sit side-by-side on the large couch and Taesan’s eyes darken.

"Not until my mate is comfortable" he says and pats his lap. Seoha blushes but eventually takes a seat in his mate’s lap.

Oh...

I’m blushing for the both of them.

Oh my Goddess...they’re different from Siren and Daruis, but it’s cute in a way that makes me cringe. I guess this was how Kai felt in the jet.

I look at my brother-in-law to mentally apologize for subjecting him to third wheeling Elias and I.

"Now, what do you fuckers want?" Taesan asks in English and Kai starts to respond in Korean.

I guess business talk starts now...
