Chapter 133: Chapter 133: Ikuni? This Isn’t a Music Anime, Magearna

But—

what was he supposed to do?

The command Elephas left behind was hidden in the deepest part of Magearna’s Soul-Heart.

It had been planted there from the moment of her creation.

Even if Elephas himself returned—

he still wouldn’t have had a way to stop Magearna’s rampage.

But Sora was different.

He and Magearna—

after five hundred years—

no—since the moment she was born, he was the very first human to truly step into her heart.

If anyone could break this seal, there was no one else but Sora.

"In normal form, Magearna synchronizes consciousness."

"She can feel the emotions, thoughts, and physical condition of other Pokémon."

"If she senses a Pokémon in pain, she feels that suffering too and desperately wants to help."

"But once she enters Super Mode..."

"...her heart closes."

"She becomes the ultimate weapon that endlessly destroys enemies."

So—the solution became obvious.

"To wake Magearna..."

"...I need to turn my heart into the key..."

"...and force open the heart that’s been sealed shut."

Only then—

could Sora erase the command that had existed since her birth—and rescue Magearna’s heart from confinement.

"Ogerpon."

"Volcanion."

Sora called out:

"Work together."

"Suppress Mega Magearna as much as possible and buy me time."

"Ponii!"

"Leave it to us!"

Volcanion and Ogerpon moved in perfect coordination.

One defended.

One attacked.

Together, they easily pinned down Magearna whenever she tried breaking free—

keeping her from reaching Sora.

Mega Magearna was powerful.

That much was undeniable.

But her opponents weren’t weak either.

Level 82 Ogerpon.

Level 87 Volcanion.

Either one alone could challenge a level 79 Mega Magearna.

Together—

they completely held the advantage.

"Thankfully..."

"Mega Magearna’s only level 79."

If she had crossed into level 80 before Mega Evolving—

her power might have jumped straight into the range of level 89.

At that point—

without Terastallization—

without Volcanion’s Hydro Steam—

they might not have been able to stop her.

"Vee..."

"Bini..."

Victini looked depressed.

She had only wanted to help Magearna unlock a stronger form.

Who could’ve guessed things would turn out like this?

Victini felt like this was all her fault.

"Stop overthinking!"

Sora interrupted her emotional spiral.

"This isn’t a bad thing."

"If we trigger Magearna’s hidden problem early..."

"...then we can solve it early."

"It’s far better than knowing nothing and suddenly being attacked one day."

Sora could imagine it.

If they hadn’t tested Mega Evolution ahead of time—and Magearna suddenly entered extermination mode during an official battle, the result would’ve been catastrophic.

"Bini?"

Victini widened her eyes.

So... this really isn’t my fault?

"Of course not!"

"And even if it was your mistake..."

"...then fix it."

Sora extended his hand.

"Right now."

"Lend me your power."

"Let’s bring Magearna back together."

"BINI!!"

Thinking of Magearna’s usual self—

Victini pressed her tiny hand into Sora’s palm.

BOOM—!!

The next second—

a torrent of Aura flooded into Sora’s body.

"That’s it!"

The Keystone Sora used for Magearna’s Mega Evolution—was his Aura.

But Magearna had gone berserk.

Because Elephas had already prepared for this possibility.

He never wanted Magearna to fall into the hands of anyone driven by ambition.

But no matter how elaborate a failsafe was, it was still only dead code.

In the Pokémon world—

willpower and emotion could create miracles.

Sora’s Aura had been too weak.

That was why he couldn’t stabilize Magearna’s mind.

Like tug-of-war.

His side simply lacked enough strength.

"If that’s all it is..."

"...then strengthen the Aura."

For others—

that would’ve been impossible.

But Sora had Victini.

With Vee’s power reinforcing him—

Sora suddenly had a feeling—

"With Aura alone..."

"...I could fight a Champion’s ace Pokémon."

It wasn’t arrogance.

It was reality.

"What was that line again?"

Sora slowly opened his eyes.

The world changed.

Everything became a translucent network.

"Aura..."

"...is with me!"

He saw it.

Within the endless ocean of Aura—

there was a pink figure—

struggling inside crimson light.

"MAGEARNA!!!"

"Mana?"

Suddenly—

Magearna stopped attacking Ogerpon and Volcanion.

"Dii... di-dou...?"

The red glow inside her mechanical eyes flickered.

Pink and crimson intertwined—

like two invisible forces fighting for dominance.

"GET OUT OF MAGEARNA’S BODY!!!"

Sora’s roar exploded inside her heart.

The shackles—

left behind five hundred years ago by the mystic scientist Elephas—

collapsed beneath Sora’s overwhelming Aura.

At that moment—

Sora felt unprecedented freedom.

And so did Magearna.

"Sora..."

Magearna’s heart—

was suddenly closer than ever.

In this world made of Aura—

the pink soul slowly drifted toward Sora—

until it overlapped with him.

"Sorry."

"I scared you, didn’t I?"

Sora gently held the doll-like girl within his heart.

"It’s alright now."

"It’s over."

"From today onward..."

"You’re free, Magearna."

"Free?"

Magearna didn’t understand the word.

"I don’t want freedom."

To Magearna—

freedom meant escaping the castle.

And then—

being alone forever.

"I want..."

"...to stay with Sora."

"And everyone else."

Magearna’s voice was soft—

like a little girl barely ten years old.

"I want..."

"...to always be together."

Such a simple wish—

yet it stirred Sora’s heart.

"Yeah."

Sora gently stroked her back.

"We’ll never be separated."
