Chapter 350 - 348: Ash’s Charizard vs 100 Charizards – Part 2
Chapter 350: Chapter 348: Ash’s Charizard vs 100 Charizards – Part 2
Charizard stood in the center of the scarred arena, chest rising and falling in steady rhythm. The white core of his tail flame had dimmed only slightly after the first twenty-five victories.
Ash rested a hand against the warm scales of his partner’s neck, eyes closed for a brief moment as soft blue light flickered across his fingertips.
"Aura," Ash murmured. "Feel it with me."
A gentle wave of azure energy flowed from Ash into Charizard. The Fire-type’s eyes sharpened. The world around him suddenly felt clearer every shift of wind, every distant wingbeat, every heartbeat of the remaining wild Charizard high above became distinct.
Pikachu and Eevee, still perched on Ash’s shoulders, felt the same calm power and chirped in quiet support.
Below, the girls watched with bright eyes.
Misty pumped a fist. "He’s using Aura again... Charizard’s going to be even sharper now!"
Daisy grinned. "This is the part where things get unfair for the other side."
Erika’s soft voice carried pride. "They won’t know what hit them."
Melody bounced on her toes. "Go, Ash! Go, Charizard!"
Giselle’s gaze never left her Master. "We’re watching."
Sabrina’s eyes glowed faintly. "His Aura is perfectly synchronized. Beautiful control."
Liza stood frozen beside Charla. The female Charizard’s earlier respect had deepened into open astonishment. Liza herself could not look away from the calm young man who spoke to his Pokémon as though they shared one mind.
The second wave of twenty-five descended.
These were stronger than the first group larger frames, deeper scars, hotter flames.
They came in coordinated packs, determined not to fall the same way their kin had. The first three charged together, one from above, two from the flanks, all launching simultaneous Flamethrowers.
Ash’s voice was quiet, almost conversational. "Left. Then climb."
Charizard moved before the flames even fully formed. Guided by the Aura link, he slipped left, wings cutting the air, then shot upward so cleanly that the three streams of fire collided harmlessly beneath him. In the same motion Ash called, "Dragon Claw cross."
White-cored energy flared. Two precise claws flashed. Two wild Charizard dropped.
The third barely had time to roar before a point-blank Heat Wave sent it tumbling across the stone.
Liza’s eyes widened. "He... he didn’t even look. How did Charizard know the attacks were coming from those angles?"
Misty glanced at her with a small, knowing smirk. Daisy and Melody exchanged the same look. Erika’s lips curved. Giselle simply smiled, quiet and certain. Sabrina’s expression said everything without words.
They all knew exactly what was happening to the valley caretaker.
The next five came harder, mixing Aerial Ace, Dragon Rush, and brute force. Ash’s commands remained short and precise, each one carried through the Aura bond so that Charizard reacted as though the thoughts were his own.
"Break the formation Steel Wing left, Flamethrower right, then Seismic Toss on the heavy one."
Charizard became a blur of crimson, white, and blue-edged power. Wings hardened into gleaming blades, fire roared in controlled bursts, and the largest of the five was seized, lifted, and slammed into the ground hard enough to crack ancient rock. Five more down.
Fifteen remained.
Liza’s voice had gone soft, almost breathless. "The way he stands... the way he speaks... it’s like the Charizard is simply an extension of him. I’ve never seen a trainer command with that kind of presence." Her cheeks held a faint color she did not notice. Charla rumbled beside her, equally captivated by the white-cored flame and the calm human who guided it.
The harem girls caught the look on Liza’s face. Misty raised an eyebrow at Daisy. Daisy bit back a grin. Melody leaned toward Erika and whispered something that made both of them smile. Giselle’s eyes met Sabrina’s for a brief, meaningful second. They all understood. Liza was beginning to fall slowly, steadily for their husband. They would handle that matter later, after Ash had finished conquering the valley.
Ash never glanced their way. His focus remained absolute.
"Dragon Dance."
Power surged through Charizard once more. Speed and strength climbed. The remaining fifteen tried to overwhelm him with sheer numbers, surrounding him in a ring of fire and claws. Ash’s Aura pulsed brighter.
"Center. Then outward."
Charizard dropped into the middle of the circle. A full-powered Blast Burn erupted beneath his feet, forcing the wild ones to leap back. In the opening, Ash’s voice cut cleanly through the chaos.
"Outrage clear the field."
What followed was a storm. Charizard became a whirlwind of draconic fury, claws and fangs and white-cored flame tearing through every opponent that tried to close in.
One by one they fell some from precise Dragon Claws, some from searing Flamethrowers timed to the exact moment their defenses dropped, some from Seismic Tosses that left new craters in the valley floor.
The Aura link never wavered. Charizard moved as though he could see every attack a heartbeat before it formed.
When the last of the twenty-five crashed to the ground, the entire Charicific Valley fell into stunned silence.
Fifty wild Charizard lay defeated across the ancient stone. Smoke and embers drifted on the wind. Charizard stood tall in the center, white-cored flame still burning proud, chest heaving but eyes sharp and unbroken. He released a deep, resonant roar that rolled across every cliff and training ground.
The defeated Charizard slowly lifted their heads. There was no more hostility in their eyes only deep, grudging respect and genuine appreciation for the outsider who had bested them all. Several of the larger males lowered their heads in clear acknowledgment of a superior. And among the female Charizard scattered throughout the valley, many stared at Ash’s partner with open, dreamy fascination, tails flicking, eyes soft with the unmistakable hope of one day mating with a male of such overwhelming strength.
Ash exhaled and rested his hand once more on Charizard’s neck. "Well done."
Pikachu and Eevee cheered loudly. The girls erupted into applause and proud shouts.
Misty’s voice rang out above the rest. "That’s our Charizard!"
Daisy laughed in pure delight. "Fifty down!"
Erika’s smile was radiant. "Magnificent."
Melody spun in a happy circle. "He’s incredible!"
Giselle’s quiet pride shone clearly. "Master... Charizard... you were perfect."
Sabrina simply nodded, eyes still glowing faintly with residual Aura sense.
Liza stood speechless. Her earlier skepticism had completely melted into open awe. She stared at Ash the calm set of his shoulders, the quiet confidence in his eyes, the effortless way he had guided a single Charizard through fifty of the valley’s finest and something warm and unfamiliar stirred in her chest. Charla beside her gave a low, almost approving rumble, equally captivated.
The harem girls watched Liza’s expression and shared soft, knowing smirks with one another. They would deal with the caretaker’s growing feelings later. For now, the valley still had more to say.
A deep, earth-shaking roar suddenly rolled down from the highest cliff.
Every head turned.
From the upper ridges, a massive shape launched into the air. This Charizard was the largest any of them had ever seen nearly five meters tall, scales dark and battle-scarred, tail flame a fierce, pure crimson that burned hotter than any ordinary fire. He was clearly the strongest, the true apex of the Charicific Valley. Behind him, dozens more powerful Charizard took flight, forming a living wall of wings and flame.
The giant landed heavily in the center of the arena, the ground trembling under his weight. He fixed Ash’s Charizard with a piercing stare, then released a series of deep, commanding roars that carried clear meaning even to human ears.
Liza translated, voice still slightly unsteady.
"He says... your Charizard fought well. The first fifty have acknowledged him. But the battle for the title of King does not end here."
She listened to another set of roars, eyes widening. "To become the true King of the Charicific Valley, he must defeat fifty of the valley’s strongest... without taking a single break. Continuous battle. No rest."
The giant Charizard’s eyes burned with challenge. He spread his enormous wings and roared once more, the meaning unmistakable.
Ash looked at his partner. Charizard met his gaze, white-cored flame flaring brighter in answer. There was no hesitation only the same fierce hunger that had carried him from a small Charmander to this moment.
Ash smiled and climbed back onto Charizard’s back. Pikachu and Eevee settled into place once more.
"We accept," Ash said clearly.
Charizard threw his head back and released a roar that shook the entire valley, accepting the new challenge without a second thought.
The real trial for the crown of the Charicific Valley was about to begin.
