Pioneer Lord: I Have Conquering System
Chapter 566 - 361: With Max-Level Attributes, Who Do I Fear?
Agonized wails echoed endlessly. An unsuppressed torrent of resentment swept over everything, devouring every last Divine Servant of the same bloodline.
They prayed and wailed ceaselessly from within the mass of resentment. Their utter despair and negative emotions whipped up a massive Telekinesis Field, transforming into a bizarre form of Extraordinary Power that surged into the Tower of Sin.
The only survivors were Levi and Fatir. The wave of resentment hadn’t even spared Kemisi and its sister.
Levi had also tried to stop it, but it was like striking water with a sword. Unable to use his Holy Light, he had no way of affecting the massive entity of resentment. The only thing he could do was lead Fatir away from the epicenter.
"Levi, I have a very bad feeling about this," Fatir said.
She could feel the resentment and flesh of millions surging into the Tower of Sin. The whole thing looked like some kind of sacrificial ritual.
Levi set Fatir aside and walked out into an open space. Gazing at the Tower of Sin, which he estimated to be at least three thousand paces away, he pulled a Fine Steel Javelin from his inventory. He weighed it in his hand twice, then took aim at the black tower.
He turned sideways, drew back his shoulder, and built up his power. His movements were as if practiced a thousand times, flowing together in one smooth motion as he flung his arm and threw.
SWOOSH!
A wild gust of wind whipped Fatir’s golden hair into the air as a deafening sonic boom exploded in her ears. It reminded her of a certain night, of a clap of thunder tearing through a sky shrouded in dark clouds.
The Javelin, imbued with unimaginable Power, crossed the distance in the blink of an eye and slammed viciously into the black tower’s midsection. The result left Fatir stunned.
The Javelin pierced straight through the black tower, leaving behind a dark, barely visible hole as it continued on its trajectory, eventually disappearing from sight.
’Could a Legendary Mage have blocked that?’ the Saintess wondered. ’No wonder the Lord Saint values Levi so highly.’
Levi, however, was not surprised. Back when he was just starting out, he could kill Damon and his entourage with a throw from hundreds of paces away, to say nothing of his current self, who had Max Level Attributes on his panel and had cultivated the 「Holy Word Treasure Manual」.
If he could use his Holy Light—if he had imbued the Javelin with Holy Light Energy—that single throw would have been enough to level the land before him.
It was no exaggeration to say that if he could use his Holy Light, every one of his current strikes could destroy a town the size of the old Kalia Town. Each blow would hit harder than a cruise missile.
This was also why, back then, he couldn’t be bothered to personally deal with the likes of Kemish Blue Diamond and his group.
Why would a Giant Dragon concern itself with an ant on the ground?
But now, unable to use his Holy Light, each of his strikes was still incredibly potent, but he was completely incapable of area-of-effect attacks.
As if the sacrificial ritual had ended, all the resentment burrowed into the Tower of Sin. The Divine Servants covering the plain vanished without a trace, leaving behind only a field of empty clothes to prove the earlier sea of people had not been a dream.
THUMP... THUMP-THUMP!
Suddenly.
A strong, powerful heartbeat thundered from above the Tower of Sin, mingling with the sound of the Divine Abomination’s footsteps, which was now so close that the patterns on its armor could be seen clearly.
"Father, I feel awful," Little Buji said, clutching its small chest. Its brow furrowed in pain.
The sound of the heartbeat seemed to resonate with everyone, irresistibly pulling their own hearts into its rhythm. Even the Lord’s heart began to pound, as if a Giant Dragon’s heart had been embedded in his chest.
CRACK... CRUMBLE... The Tower of Sin fractured and collapsed. A curled-up figure was revealed within the rubble. Like a newly hatched chick, It stretched Its limbs.
As if shocked by Its arrival, the sun seemed to hide behind the clouds. A layer of lead-gray clouds gathered overhead, plunging the world into twilight.
A man stood there, attended by thousands of wisps of resentment. His expression was as placid as a lake. Countless Divine Servants, now transformed into souls, raised their hands in submission beneath His terrifying figure. They seemed to be gazing up at their king. The entire scene was like a congregation of Demons or a royal court in Hell, filled with an evil, bizarre atmosphere.
This magnificent man was like a Giant from mythology, His figure reaching a terrifying twelve meters. Before Him, the previous Son of Hope was no bigger than a housecat.
Dragon horns sat atop His head like a crown. His muscles were sharply defined, like mountain ranges crossing a plain. He held a Giant Sword, His posture majestic and domineering, as if He commanded everything.
"So there’s a Phase Two, huh," Levi muttered, taking a deep breath. He plucked Buji from the top of his head and stuffed the little creature into Fatir’s arms, then finally retrieved "Digen’s Howl" from his inventory.
"My Lord, you summoned this humble servant for a reason?"
The moment the Flame Sword appeared, the Dragon Soul within emerged and spoke with a fawning expression.
It was no wonder Digen was so subservient. This Tyrant would shove it into some dark, sunless place at the slightest provocation. To avoid that agony, it had to try every trick in the book to please him.
But the moment the words were out, it was as if it had been choked like a duck. A rare, dumbfounded look appeared on the dragon’s face. Quicker than lightning, it dove back into the Dragon Crystal. Only then did it breathe a sigh of relief before giving Levi a reproachful look. "What godsforsaken backwater did you drag me to? There isn’t a single trace of the Elements!"
In its current soul state, being in a place on the Material Realm rich with Elemental Power was like being a fish in the ocean—it could roam freely within a certain range of the Dragon Crystal. But in a Magicless World, that was impossible.
"Th-this... what is that?"
But before Levi could reply, its gaze fell upon the ruins of the Tower of Sin. This Red Dragon, who had been Legendary in life, actually began to tremble, a rare sight indeed. "Where in the nine hells did you bring me? Why does that person have the aura of the Gods?"
