Pioneer Lord: I Have Conquering System
Chapter 513 - 334: Mermaid’s Tears Become Pearls
She was in an extremely sensitive state right now, so as long as her request wasn’t something particularly difficult, like sending her back to her homeland, the Lord didn’t mind helping.
"Merfolk can’t be away from the ocean for long. Although being in water can slow the onset of various side effects, I will still lose my Power if I’m away for too long."
"So, only Magic Items containing the Ocean Element will allow me to truly live on land," Tiffany said, her face blushing slightly. This was because besides this method, there was another way for her to live on land like a human—by giving her chastity to a human man.
But she was too embarrassed to say it.
"Don’t worry, I’ll have someone search for one for you in Debei," Levi immediately promised.
’No wonder Rillo kept this Mermaid Princess magically sealed in a ring,’ he thought. ’The restrictions are just too much.’
He wasn’t confident about finding such a Magic Item. After all, the Elements had only just reawakened, and Merfolk had only just appeared. It was unlikely anyone was making such items these days; they would have to be relics from ancient times.
He planned to write to Fatir and ask. The Holy Light Church had been around for so long, and with a Saint still living, it was hard to say they didn’t have some ancient treasures stashed away.
He could also write and ask Liya and Fulina. Both were Dukes and had some family wealth; if worse came to worst, he could just buy one.
Besides, putting everything else aside, this Mermaid Princess was a High Tier Water Elemental Master. If she were in the ocean, her strength would increase by at least fifty percent.
The two chatted for a while longer before Levi left, leaving the Mermaid Princess alone in the courtyard.
Tiffany watched his retreating figure disappear from sight. With a wave of her slender fingers, the spring water from the pond wrapped around her fingertips like a soft ribbon. It then returned to the center of the pond, slowly coalescing into the form of a magnificent, crowned man. She stared blankly at the figure, murmuring words that seemed to transcend space:
"Father, though countless suns and moons separate us, please do not worry for me. I have been saved by a righteous hero..."
In the Wilderness, under a washed-clean sky, all one could see was a vast, boundless expanse of white snow, without a hint of any other color. High Cliff Castle had become a small black dot on the skyline of this white world.
"This spot should do."
Levi snapped his fingers. The Three-headed Dog racing through the snow stopped instantly and lowered its head. The few Feder elders looked at the ground, still a blade’s height away, and hesitated.
WHOOSH!
The Lord gave them no time to dawdle. He grabbed them by the collars of their robes and jumped, leaving the old men clutching their chests with looks of resentment.
"This area is flat and fertile, and it’s not too far from High Cliff Castle. Building the Dragon’s Nest here will allow us to see the castle, and it will also let visitors to High Cliff Castle see this spectacle."
Levi stepped on the thick snow, making a CRUNCH, CRUNCH sound.
’It’s a good location, but that’s useless.’
Building a platform here couldn’t be done in a short time. The difficulty would be even greater than building a city wall.
"Father, just leave it to me." Buji floated in the air, full of confidence. "A Mandot Vine can grow enormous as long as it has enough Magic Power. I can control it to be as big and as tall as I want."
She spread her little hands to gesture a large circle, looking extremely cute.
"And once it matures, its trunk will wither and become harder than rock, making it perfect for Sister Sophia’s nest."
"So that’s why you’re always taking Biefeng out? To find the seeds of these Magic Plants?" Levi said, ruffling her little head. Although he didn’t know what Race Buji belonged to, he was certain she was a Caster who could control life and Natural Elements.
The flower garden in the Lord of High Cliff Castle’s courtyard, blooming vibrantly, was a testament to her daily, meticulous care. That was why it could flourish even in the dead of winter. It was only natural that she had Mastered Magic to accelerate plant growth.
"That’s right! I want to collect the seeds of all plants and grow them in our little garden," Buji said, nodding with a wistful expression.
Besides clinging to her father, her favorite thing was watching those plants grow bit by bit, from a seed with just a sliver of life to a towering tree. It made her feel very comfortable.
’No natural life should remain submerged in darkness like this.’
"Biefeng, quick, help me melt all the snow here." Little Buji, if nothing else, had learned ninety-nine percent of the Lord’s commanding flair. Standing on the Lord’s shoulder, she placed one hand on her hip, striking a commanding pose as she issued the highest order on the scene.
The reluctant Three-headed Dog, under the Lord’s smiling gaze, could only obediently gather the Fire Element. A moment later, three huge Fireballs shot out from its mouths. A blast of hot air instantly evaporated the several-blades-thick snow, revealing the dark earth buried beneath.
The aggrieved Three-headed Dog ran to the side and buried its three heads in the snow. It thought that when its boss returned, it could finally complain about all the terrible things this little creature had done to it. But it never expected them to be in it together. It felt its dog’s life plunge into darkness, unable to see a single ray of light, just like now.
No one had time to wonder why the High Tier Magical Beast was doing this. The few Feder elders, being magically illiterate, just assumed it needed to cool down. After all, conjuring such a powerful Fireball must have made its heads terribly hot.
Little Buji held the shriveled, dark, and unremarkable seed. She softly chanted an unknown Spell. The black soil immediately parted to form a small trench. After she placed the seed inside, the soil closed up again.
"Olasbikira..."
She flew into the sky, her hands spread open towards the seed’s location. Her little face was serious as she chanted ancient, unknown syllables that belonged to neither the Elven tongue nor the Dragon Language.
But there was no doubt that it was filled with unimaginable Power.
As a fellow Elemental User, Levi could easily sense a power filled with the breath of life being mobilized by Little Buji from the world around them. The Elements within her body were also pouring out, coalescing into an unknown Natural Magic that she cast upon the Mandot Vine Seed.
"Is the Earth Goddess angry?" The Feder elders looked at each other as they felt the ground tremble lightly.
"No, it’s the seed. It’s growing countless thick roots, spreading out in all directions!" Levi explained.
It wasn’t that he had awakened some Celestial Eye that could see through clothes or the ground. Instead, he sensed countless things imbued with Elemental Power burrowing into the earth like mighty dragons, spreading rapidly in all directions.
In just this short time, they had already spread for a distance of nearly a hundred blades.
It wasn’t hard to guess that these were roots, filled with the breath of life.
Buji’s chanting grew louder and more powerful, the mysterious tones inspiring a sense of awe.
SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!
When countless thick, green vines burst from the soil and shot toward the sky, the Feder elders were so frightened they nearly collapsed. Each vine was so thick that five grown men couldn’t wrap their arms around it. They twisted together like a massive rope, surging upward.
Soon, the Lord realized vines were about to erupt from beneath his own feet. Before he could even warn the Feder elders, all of them were suddenly lifted up, ascending rapidly toward the sky.
"AHH!"
The old men were truly terrified. Fortunately, they quickly came to their senses and clung desperately to the broad surface of the vine, hugging their heads with both hands. They didn’t dare look around, afraid of falling and being smashed to pieces.
The Lord, however, watched in amazement at the mighty feat Little Buji had accomplished all by herself.
Countless thick vines had drilled out from the ground, intertwining to form what looked like a Giant Dragon hundreds of blades long, standing erect upon the earth.
Its diameter alone was over a hundred blades, and it was still growing. Their viewpoint was constantly rising, the ground below shrinking, and even the distant Kas Mountain Range was becoming faintly visible.
